The people who have 'issues' with EV charging, are the people who have never driven/ridden an EV. Once you start driving it, you will realize it's much more convenient than using a petrol/diesel car.
I replaced my Hyundai i20 diesel with Tata Nexon Ev Max Lux this week. Excellent product with powerful performance with huge saving. Day by day EV chargers are increasing at hotels, parkings, malls, petrol pumps at all important routes.Very soon you will be able to go anywhere in India without range anxiety. in Ev Max we can go about 320 km non stop with a.c and full load. It's value for your hard money.
It costs 6 per km to charge outside. Plus tolls cost 1-2 per km which is applicable for all vehicles. There are no chargers available along the way. Try going for a long drive. You will get fed up of locating chargers and anyone will panic when 10% charge remaining on an empty highway. Different apps different rates for each charging station is ridiculous.
@@Vihaan684It's ok if you think EVs are not for you! Don't worry! But don't discourage others from opting it out... For many, EVs are economical, offer features and fit perfectly in their driving habits!
Excellent review as always, Sir pointed out very important infrastructure issue that you always need apps to be installed to charge cars and good suggestions that some alternative arrangement should be made to be able to charge by just paying cash this is something very interesting and unique point of this review as compared to other reviews 👌👍👏
I went Vadodara(Baroda) Gujarat From Ahmedabad, in MY MG COMET 😅🔥 the distance is around 120-130 km from my place, after reaching there, I lived in my relative house, there is Tiago EV of my another relative there in nearby, so I put there for charging in. 3.3kw (15amp) slow charge, ( Comet support slow charge so if you are living somewhere after covering 180-200km it will be good ) after 5-6 hours it charged full, and then I left from there to came to my home after reaching Ahmedabad Gujarat and still 32% battery was left.. (COMET is City Car, I have -2 iCE Cars But Still Comet can run on Highways)

I was quite surprised that in all these 22 minutes of this video, there was no information about the Car's spec and it's price! Whether this is a MR or SR and which variant is this; what was the range that this gentleman is getting and during the long trip which he mentioned, what was the actual range etc. These are all basic inputs that a prospective buyer is interested in. Unfortunately you have simply skipped all these basic stuffs.

I covered 10k km in 5 month and my longest trip is 180km on one side. My car tiago ev Lr used for business purposes so this car is very useful for me very cost friendly.

ev mein kam parts hote hai, toh tata ev mein jyada se jyada fit and finish ke problems honge, woh toh seh sakte hai. tata ke ICE lene se pehle PDI ek professional se karwao, gaadi khud se mat lo
Why don’t all EV manufacturers coordinate with each other including their sourced out partners in giving the EV Vehicle users universal charging ports!
Software upgrade is feasible upto certain versions. Beyond these versions, will TATA Service replace the hardware to accept the further software versions.
The gear paddle is hard in shifting and often gets stuck . If you’re stuck in a close space , moving the car becomes a tough task . The boot door once open is difficult to shut ; it literally has to be banged shut . The parking brake once on is near impossible to release . You will have to switch off the car & switch it on again to release the parking brake

20000-25000rs saving kaise. Bata do. 10rs a km saving is bullshit. I have scross petrol which gives 20km in Delhi traffic. So 5rs a km petrol cost. How these RU-vid honest people keep saying 10rs a km saving.
dbd4013, are you drunk or brain-dead? Or so you think no one owns a petrol car? There are a dozen small petrol hatchbacks in our extended family ( mostly i10s and marutis and they give 8 to 9 kmpl in city traffic. Your s-cross gives 20 kmpl? Do you think people are idiots?
@@MotorByte petrol car costs at least 10 rupees. If driven rashly , petrol car even give mileage of 5 to 6 km in city. Which means even 20 rupees per km. Tata EVs cost 90 paisa to 1 rupee at home charging. Sir, this man is ICE lobbyist. Probably paid to badmouth EVs. Especially Tata cars. There is no issue with Tata cars. Just that rivals are spreading rubbish against Tata Motors. Anyone who spends some time on social media can see that.

what he told is may be true but my situation is like this , see i was a nexon ev max user previously scross. my situation was that when i brought nexon igs was good i loved it then problwm starts like. The rusting or corrosion outside door handle strted se this os after 6 month of use. thenafter 1 st service my car is making sound inside after that i send for service but noise inside incresed. so i had to sold it because service network was cheating me , i later brought a Mg gloster i had to say its better and service is superb even though a international brand . see im not telling u not considering Tata but , u should not fall in trap like vocal for local or tata or paid reviews. see Tata is good but bot great . my scross is 5+ year old no rust at all means its know as good quality . if u want yo buy safe car just buy MG / JEEP / SKODA .
