New Nexon EV User Review after 6000 Kms 

7:55 the software update is done by different engineer who is not present 24x7 at all the dealers simultaneously, they do round robin between the dealerships for OS updates. I had to get the 2022 "Prime" update which added the regen modes, cruise control, and tpms. I had to wait 1 week for their engineer to come, then took it second time after service. Once they get EV sales and service like the one in Gurugram, it should be better in future

Does the AC system work fine ? For my Nexon Creative Plus, the AC at 30°C is as cold as 25°C and the heater hence does not work at all because even at 30°C the AC cools the car instead of heating it even if the ambient outside temp. is cold.

Bought the new Nexon ev the same time as him in November last year, mechanically and comfort wise it's excellent, performance is superb you cannot go back to ice cars after driving evs, but there are a lot of software annoyances, like the aqi beeps he mentioned and the incessant voice that keeps announcing everything you do like turning on express cooling or drive mode change and the fact that they made a deliberate design choice to turn on radio everytime the car starts and the glitches with infotainment and instrument cluster, these glitches mostly went away after the software update during the first service But they need to iron out the software issues, still no tpms view even after upgrade In the initial days the glitches were so bad and often i regretted buying the car altogether that's how bad they were Hopefully a newer upgrade will remove the last wrinkles too

EVs are for those who already own and ICE engine car and want to use EV as a secondary car for short intra city communications.

only if tata has better service and customer experience I would have bought a TATA nexon ICE.

I stay in Kolkata and few months back I did a 4200 km road trip (up down) to Amritsar with my petrol car. I could never have done this if I had an EV.

Tatas reliability is rubbish. Have a car, driven 85000kms, never had a worse ownership experience than this car. The car is great, but reliability is just so bad. At one point the car was at the service Center at least twice a month

EVs have lost its charm. The whole international EV market has been going through a turmoil. Even Tesla, being the topmost company, had cut 40% of its prices. Not worth getting a EV these days anymore.

I don't think EVs have any future as long as there is any drastical improvement in batteries. Still we cannon do long tours in EV, EVs are burning here and there. I think hydrogen cars are the future as toyota is working on it.
