Though there is nothing "wrong" with what he does (aping the West), he cannot be called a COMPOSER like Maestro Ilayaraja who is the EXCEPTION even in the Indian music industry which has very few original composers. For example, KVM tuned while Pugazhendhi orchestrated. Same with MSV-TKR and later Joseph Krishna filling in. RDB had a team, and then there were duo composers where one did something and the other something else! Now, there are 2-6 different names for a single album! The anchor is more worried about "subscribers" than facts! So, what Ram Gopal Varma said is NOT surprising at all! Many musicians/singers have mentioned subtly / directly on how their inputs were put together to "compile" a song. Whereas, even those who worked with other music directors also, clearly mentioned that "ILAYARAJA is DIFFERENT" and always revere him / applaud him immensely! Blasco (who worked with RDB), Uttam Singh (who arranged for several music directors) - all HAIL ILAYARAJA as THE incomparable genius.

இளையராஜா சார் 1422படங்கள் 46 வருடத்தில் ரகுமான் 31 வருடத்தில் வெறும் 145 படங்கள் அதன் அடிப்படையில் பார்த்தால் இளையராஜா சார் சராசரியாக ஒரு வாரத்திற்க்கு ஒரு படம் இசையமைத்துள்ளார்....ரகுமான் 2.5 மாததிற்கு 1 படம் இசையமைத்துள்ளார்.....வேகத்தை ஒப்பிட்டு பார்த்தால் ரகுமானை விட 6 மடங்கு வேகம் கூடியவர் இளையராஜா சார்...இதுதான் இயற்கையான திறமை......Electronic technology இல்லை என்றால் ரகுமானின் இசையும் சாதாரண இசையமைப்பாளர் களை போன்றதே........சிந்தியுங்கள்....ரகுமான் ஆங்கில பாடல் அரபு பாடல்களை அதிகளவில் கேட்டு அதை Copy பன்னி இசையமைத்துள்ள பாடல்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 100 Ku அதிகம்.....youtube இல் ஒருவர் ரகுமான் Copy பன்னிய 100 க்கு அதிகமான பாடல்களை வெளியிட்டு இருந்தார் 30 நிமிட வீடியோ....அதற்க்கு அதிகமான Like um Views um பெறப்பட்டது அத்துடன் Comments இல் எல்லோரும் ரகுமான் Oscar award க்கு தகுதி இல்லை அந்த Oscar award திரும்ப பெறவேண்டும் என்று அதிகமானவர் கூரி வந்தனர் இதை அறிந்த ரகுமான் அந்த வீடியோ வெளியிட்டவரை சந்தித்து பேரம் பேசி அந்த வீடியோவை RU-vid இல் இருந்து அகற்றி விட்டார்....இதுதான் ரகுமானின் திறமை....Sound technology இல்லை என்றால்... ரகுமானும் இசையமைப்பாளர் வித்தியாசாகரும் ஒரே திறமையே என்று சொல்லும் அளவுதான் ரகுமானின் திறமை......ரகுமான் ஒருதடவை Oscar award எடுத்தார் அதற்கு பிறகு அவரால் அந்த பக்கமே போக முடியவில்லை ஏன் என்றால் Creativity இல்லை....ரகுமான் Oscar award எடுத்தது கூட மிகபெரிய இந்தியாவின் அரசியல் சூழ்ச்சியே தவிர திறமையில்லை........இளையராஜா சார் கூட ஒப்பிட ஒருத்தன் பிறந்ததும் இல்லை இனி பிறப்பான் என்று நம்பவும் இல்லை....பிறந்தால் அது இளையராஜா சார் போல் தூய தமிழனாகதான் இருப்பான் ஏன் என்றால் தூய தமிழனுக்கே இசை என்பது இயற்கை......பிள்ளை முதலியார் கவுண்டர் சமுகம் தூய தமிழ் சமுகம் இல்லை.....ஆரிய கலப்பு இனம் ஆரியனின் காமத்துக்கு பிறந்த கள்ள குழந்தை வம்சம்.....
