* Ingredients
For Masala Paste:
Small Onion- 4
Garlic- Handful
Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder- 2 tbsp
Coriander Powder- 3 tbsp
For Kulambu:
Tamarind- 2(amla size)
Oil- 1/4 Cup
Mustard Seeds-1 tsp
Fenugreek Seeds- 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds- 1 tsp
Chopped Onion- 1 Cup
Green Chilli-2
Minced Garlic- 1 tsp
Curry Leaves- few
Salt to Taste
Chopped Tomato- 1
Fish- 3l4 Cup

மசாலா பேஸ்ட்டுக்கு:
சின்ன வெங்காயம் - 4
பூண்டு - கைப்பிடி
மிளகு - 1/2 டீஸ்பூன்
ருசிக்க உப்பு
மிளகாய் தூள் - 2 டீஸ்பூன்
கொத்தமல்லி தூள் - 3 டீஸ்பூன்
குழம்புக்கு:
புளி - 2 (நெல்லிக்காய் அளவு)
எண்ணெய் - 1/4 கப்
கடுகு விதைகள் - 1 டீஸ்பூன்
வெந்தய விதைகள் - 1/4 டீஸ்பூன்
சீரகம் - 1 டீஸ்பூன்
நறுக்கிய வெங்காயம் - 1 கப்
பச்சை மிளகாய் - 2
அரைத்த பூண்டு - 1 டீஸ்பூன்
கறிவேப்பிலை - சிறிதளவு
சுவைக்கு உப்பு
நறுக்கிய தக்காளி - 1
மீன் - 3/4 kg
Pre-preparation:
To make the masala paste, take a mixer and add all the ingredients for the masala paste given in the ingredients list.
Now add 1/4 cup water and mix into a smooth paste and set aside. Soak the tamarind in hot water and make the tamarind juice and set aside
Process:
Heat the oil in a clay pan or skillet. Add oil and mustard, Fenugreek, cumin. Add chopped onion, green chillies and chopped garlic and cook on medium heat for 7-8 minutes till it turns to light brown. Now add the chopped onions, Tomatoes and cook well..Now add the ground masala paste and mix it, continue to fry over medium heat for 3 minutes until the water dries and the oil separates.
Now add the tamarind juice, give a mix and then add the required amount of water. Add coconut milk and mix it.Cover and cook on low heat for another 10 minutes until the oil separates. Reduce heat to low, and add cleaned fish and cover it and cook for 3 minutes on low heat.
Serve with white rice.
