ഉരുളകിഴങ്ങ് ന്റെ മസാല ദോശ എവിടെ പോയാലും കിട്ടും.. പക്ഷെ beetroot ന്റെ മസാല ദോശ its special one പിന്നെ അത് indian coffee house ഇലെ കിട്ടുക ഉള്ളു.. ഞാൻ indian coffee house പോകുന്നത് aa മസാല ദോശ യും കട്ലറ്റ് കഴിക്കാൻ വേണ്ടി മാത്രം ആണ്

ഒരുപാട് കുട്ടിക്കാല ഓർമ്മകൾ ഉള്ള സ്ഥലം ആണ് കോഫി house. അത് കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണ് ഇപ്പോഴും കയറുന്നത്. പക്ഷെ വൃത്തി ആയിട്ട് സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങൾ വളരെ ചുരുക്കം. പിന്നെ വേണമെങ്കിൽ കഴിച്ചിട്ട് പോ എന്ന ഒരു attitude. വറുത്ത ചിക്കൻ പീസ് മുട്ട കറീടെ ഗ്രേവിയിൽ ഇട്ടാൽ ചിക്കൻ കറി ആയി. ഇതൊക്കെ ഒന്ന് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാൻ ഇവിടെ ആരുമില്ലേ എന്ന് പലപ്പോഴും തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Whenever I visit home town in Kannur and go out, a visit to Indian Coffee House is unavoidable. I have tasted potato based masala dosa from other restaurants in and out of Kerala as well as other branches of Indian Coffee House, but I always like to eat the beetroot based masala dosa. Beetroot based masala dosa in Indian coffee house is what makes it stand out from masala dosas that are served elsewhere, and that's what makes it nostalgic...

സാധാരണ ഹോട്ടലുകളിൽ കാണാത്തതും എന്നാൽ കൃത്യമായി പാലിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് എനിക്ക് ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടതുമായ ഒരു കാര്യം ഇവിടെ കുറിക്കട്ടെ. തൃശ്ശൂർ വടക്കേ സ്റ്റാൻഡിൽ ഉള്ള ഇന്ത്യൻ കോഫി ഹൗസിൽ സ്ഥിരം പോകുന്ന ആളാണ് ഞാൻ. അവിടെനിന്ന് കഴിച്ചിരുന്നത് വിവിധ കട്ട്ലൈറ്റുകളും, പൂരി മുട്ടക്കറി കോമ്പിനേഷനും, മസാലദോശയും, ഉഴുന്നുവടയും ഒക്കെ ആണ്. ഒരു ദിവസം സന്ധ്യയ്ക്ക് ആറരയോടെ പൂരി മുട്ടക്കറിക്ക് ഓർഡർ നൽകിയപ്പോൾ Steward എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞത് കട്ട്ലെറ്റ് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതിനാൽ എണ്ണ കറുത്തുപോവുകയും അതിൽ കറുത്ത പൊടികൾ നിറയുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്, ആയതിനാൽ പൂരി അല്ലാതെ വേറെ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഓർഡർ ചെയ്യണം എന്നാണ്. ഞാൻ തുടർന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയത് എല്ലാ ദിവസവും അവിടെ പഴയ എണ്ണ മാറ്റി പുതിയത് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ളതാണ്. കേരളത്തിന് പുറത്ത് ബാംഗ്ലൂരിൽ കണ്ട ഇന്ത്യൻ കോഫി ഹൗസ് തൃശ്ശൂരിന്റെ ആണ് എന്നാണ് ഞാൻ വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പേ ധരിച്ചിരുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ ജബൽപൂരിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു സൊസൈറ്റി ഉണ്ടെന്നും അതിനെ ഇത്രമാത്രം വളർച്ചയുണ്ട് എന്നറിഞ്ഞതിലും സന്തോഷവും അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങളും അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ വളരെ അധികം ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള സ്ഥലം. ആ സമയത്തു കഴിച്ച ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്റെ രുചി ഇപ്പോഴും ഫീൽ ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റും. പക്ഷെ ഇപ്പോൾ ഇവരുടെ നിലവാരം പഴയതിന്റെ അടുത്തെന്നും എത്തുന്നില്ല. ഹോട്ടലുകൾക്കു വളരെ അധികം ബിസിനസ് കിട്ടുന്ന ഒരു കാലത്തിലേക്ക് നമ്മൾ എത്തി. ഇന്ത്യൻ കോഫീ ഹൗസ് മാനേജ്‌മന്റ് കാര്യമായി ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു പഴയ സൽപ്പേര് വീണ്ടെടുക്കുവാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുക. ജനങ്ങൾ കൂടെ തന്നെ ഉണ്ടാവും. ഇപ്പോഴത്തേതിന്റെ രണ്ടിരട്ടി ബിസിനസ് നിങ്ങൾക്കു കിട്ടും.

I have been a (regular) customer ever since I have studied in University College Trivandrum and I love the Betroot Masala Dosa. But recently when I visited some of the coffee houses, I think the quality which they have maintained, is not there. Do the needful to rectify. I really love to visit the same during the old days.

Coffee House ഗുണ നിലവാരം താഴേക്ക് തന്നെ. എറണാകുളം ബോട്ട് ജെട്ടി സമീപത്ത് ഒരെണ്ണം ഉണ്ട്.എറണാകുളത്ത് വന്ന മാറ്റം അവർ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. മുഷിഞ്ഞ യൂണിഫോം, മുഷിഞ്ഞ Cup,plates,വൃത്തിഹീനമായ വാഷ് ഏരിയാ വേണമെങ്കിൽ തിന്നിട്ട് പോടാ എന്ന സമീപനം.മതിയല്ലോ.

When I go to Kerala, I make it a point to go to an Indian coffee house because of their beetroot masala dosa. It's not only beetroot, it's the beetroot and potatoes. But their coffee is not the best though name is coffee house. Cutlets are a must to try.

We go to coffee house for their beetroot masala. I'm sure that if they change that they'll lose a ton of customers as it's something unique and the main identity of coffee house.
