We Syrian Christians ( Orthodox , Jacobite, Marthoma) Doesn't support and never came through invasion Unlike Western Christianity who expanded through Invasion and conversion. Many Ezhava joined many or mostly western Christianity like Catholics , Protestants to have safe passage.

As per Travancore, Syrian Orthodox were SOVEREIGN , You can refer Manu s pillai , Ivory throne also. Eastern Christianity and western Christianity is opposite to a coin and not same.
