Every year tourists are found breaching spots that are deemed illegal to enter in the name of safety and protection of historical property. This piece on the rock is constantly being challenged by weight, weather and erosion. It was a miracle that no one got hurt before the piece was finally cut off.

I think you don't understand what DAREDEVIL means. The Russian Roulette kinda experience is what makes it exciting. imminent death gets humans going. No wonder China is so overpopulated. earlysda Do you hear yourself right now? Extreme sports like natural rock climbing and marine activities are only safe when participants respect the environments they're maneuvering. These are no professionals, they're clout chasers, and the heavy traffic actually was *damaging the rock.* It definitely wouldn't last under those conditions and could very well have killed somebody when it gave. This is a responsible decision by those who ordered its demolition. "Fill up all those rivers and seas", it's a protruding rock, dude. We're not baby-proofing the entire planet, here. Chill out.

Make a better comparison next time because something as big of a formation as the Grand Canyon it’s better to impose safety precautions rather than destroying it. This is the best way. We had a similar case involving a secluded waterfall. Getting to the waterfall is very hard but each year, we had to help with cases of drowning daredevils. We made sign showing how many people died, closing the road with fence, and finally we blow up part of the road and block it off with boulders.

The decision was wrong.. The recommendation that I will recommend is to install a safety net below the cliff. It's a popular tourist destination if that's been imposed by the government.
