I use Clove water 2 to 3 times a week. I have added a my hair butter mixture with it. It has been a life changer. My hair is no longer falling out and it's moisturized and soft. I've noticed some growth as a well. I have PCOS and suffer from hair loss at the top and it has grown back. Definitely don't overdo it. It's a process.
I spray aloe Vera in my hair daily.. keeps my curls nice and strong and not falling out because of medications. I want to try the clove but now I am scared! I don’t want My hair to break off? Does it smell bad
This is because you have high porosity. Low porosity needs moisture more and High Porosity needs more of protein treatments. So if low porosity is experiencing break offs with clove treatments, it basically means that clove has protein and should be used sparingly on low porosity hair. But people with high porosity can use it regularly because their hair lacks protein so will do just fine with the cloves treatment. Low porosity hair has enough protein already and adding more will cause breakage due to protein overload. In all, one needs to find a balance between protein and moisture treatments for a healthy thriving hair. Edit: thank you all for the love ❤️
@@kgopolomagosi266 get a spray bottle of water, spritz some on washed dry hair. If the water beads/particles just sit on top of the hair strands, and you have to work it in for it to absorb fully, then you have low porosity hair. But if your hair strands absorbs the water beads immediately without you having to work it in, then you have high porosity hair. I hope this helps.
Thank you all of you ladies for the hair tips! Especially for low porosity hair. I was just spraying it on all over and have since noticed my hair is thinning but I haven’t been doing a deep condition like I used to when I initially began my natural hair journey. My ultimate goal is waist length! Happy healthy hair to all of you whatever your hair Gail’s may be! 💛
I just saw your video clip in an ad for a growth oil called African olives! Were you aware of that? K Just letting you know they're showing your beautiful hair as an "after" result of using their product!
Everything is not for everybody and just because it’s natural it’s not for everybody all the time I have clients that are allergic to cloves so you can’t push that on people just show them what you do to your hair maybe they have the same type of hair that you do maybe the same background that you do that’s why I say it’s not for everybody but other than that you are doing an excellent job thank you for making these videos God bless you
Thank you so much for clearing this up, I saw a few comments on this and I knew that wasn’t the case because I’ve used clove and it did well on my hair
I'm low porosity, I use clove spray water and oil ,my hair gets dry I sealed with virgen hair fertilizer, the grease keep it from getting dry, my hair is thick and growing.
Kindly share with me how many times per week you use the clove water spray, what time of oil you use.I haven't experienced breakage and I have low porosity hair
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE EXCELLENT ADVICE! I'M BRAND NEW AT USING CLOVES ON MY HAIR WHICH WAS VERY DAMAGED, THINNING, GRAYING, AND FALLING OUT. I'M HAPPY TO SAY THAT MY HAIR IS IMPROVING!
I would suggest it be used every other day on the scalp, before moisturising and sealing to avoid drying out the hair. Washing and deep conditioning weekly may also help.
I'm just gonna start incorporate these hair ingredients in my diet 😂 Because I was so ready to start this cloves treatment, but after reading these comments idk anymore 😢
I have been using a clove spray almost every day for four months.. What I have done is, dilute the clove water with aloe vera juice and more water and put it in a spray bottle. Some essential oil is also added to the solution. I have low porosity hair. My hair has gotten thicker, longer and no breakage. I don't use the clove water full strength, which is what I think makes a difference.
I started using it and I'm floored at the good results. Now, I don't know if I have low or high porosity. All I know is my hair is much thicker, stronger and longer. No more shedding. It's amazing!Amazing!! Oh and I use the rosemary and clove liquid. After I spray I use grapeseed oil to moisturize. It works. 👍
@@MissAllen-yk9lk Around 1 week it was thicker but it was kind of dry. Then I started using grapeseed oil. Nice in the beginning but was still dry after a couple of hours. I recently started using coconut and Avocado oil in a cream form. Yes👍 works much better. Bought it at Publix. Gonna say around 2-3 weeks the length was finally moving and still moving. I now have to trim my egdges.. And no more shedding.👍
When using spray as low porosity, focus on your scalp. In order to combat moisture overload you need to have a moisture-protein balance. Incorporate protein treatments into your routines. Just like you should deep condition at least once a month, you can switch it up with a protein treatment to keep the strength and elasticity of your hair.
@@cecebaker5759 honestly i wouldnt know about the spray because it’s more of a diy kind of thing. I know for me personally I alternate my deep conditioner depending on how frequently i wash. Example: biweekly hair wash, one hair was i use a moisturizing deep conditioner and the next I use a protein. Just alternate it out each wash day based off of your regimen
Great tips on the cloves i spray it three times a week on my scalp and a bit on my hair i don't soak it...then when i use my moisteriser which is light i use blue magic conditioner and sometime jamaican black oil so i mix it up...i finger comb my hair and comb my hair once a week with a big tooth comb on wash days i spray my hair with a detangle spray which is good for my hair
Can you explain more? So, let say you spray with clove water on Monday, when do you use Blue Magic conditioner, on Tuesday or on Monday night or some other time?
I spray it directly on the scalp and let some get on the hair, I spray after washing and then apply leave in conditioner and seal it with a hair conditioning moisturizer then braid it in conrows and just keep it wrapped or not. So far so good.
What can I do to get my hair healthier? It was damaged after being relaxed and I've trimmed and cut it several times and tried a lot of hair masks with natural ingredients but I still have split ends and fairy knots. I'm just trying to get it back to a healthy state but it's been almost 5 years and it's still damaged. I need a big sister to help me and guide me on how to get it healthy please.
It depends on the person's sensitivities. I used it with no problems, but it irritated my mom's scalp so badly that she experienced hair loss and breakage. I felt horrible because I am the one that gave it to her. You can't say that it is a misconception because for some people, it is truth.
I have low porosity hair and I use cloves water on my hair for like 3 weeks and then I put some oil on my hair as well and they it grew my hair 2 in but at the same time it dries your hair out if you have low porosity hair the bad thing about if you have your hair and a protective Style and you want to use clove water that could be a bad thing because low porosity hair need to be wet first and except moisture better
My hair dry with thin strands. I have high porosity hair which is very sensitive to protein so I have not gone down the Clove trend! It seems to work for others but for me would be disastrous
I totally agree ! Before I started using Rosemary and clove water in my hair (I ofc did my research) and read multiple reviews (good & bad) once I looked into those two specific products (or herbs if you will) and wht they do for hair in general I knew that they alone couldn’t have been what was causing some people’s breakage ! Basically too much of a good thing is going to be bad for you point blank !
Exactly. I said that in my previous rice and avocado video. Too much of anything can hurt. We need to know exactly when and how to use the herbs that we are putting in our hair. I experienced protein overload with rice water when I first went natural because I didn’t know how to properly use the products that I put in my hair. But now I am very careful and make my research before putting anything in my hair.
Only once use of cloves. After 3 days I brought out my spray can to respray another one. I found out that my way become way much lighter and tin. And I still respray another one to see what will happen next. Please do you think I should wash it out and discontinue??
No matter what corners one wants to go around, it breaks some people's hair! I don't like people giving definite responses to questions, just because their experience is something else. I have overloaded my hair with moisture many times and it didn't break. Yet, I was not using clove water every day and it broke my hair. My hair got stiff, brittle, dry and lifeless. I had twists in and by the time I pulled out simple twists after a week, the hair in my front, right was gone. And no, I do not do anything crazy with my hair, so this is the second time in my thirty years on earth that I have experienced breakage. My sister even has same porosity as me and her hair is fine after using cloves, but not mine. It's like the thing hates me. To show you how drying this thing is for some of us, I started using clove water on my oily Tzone and it dramatically cut down the oiliness in that area, even on days when I don't use it. It's just not for everyone!
Yes, I left another comment addressing this. It's got nothing to do with protein since cloves have a very insignificant amount of protein overall, but it's the active ingredient in cloves that's a very highly powerful astringent, THAT'S what's dried and broke your hair off. It's also why it dried out your t zone so efficiently.
I think you must adding oil in your choice then its ok becoz for me too cloves dried out my hair and I see other alternatives for adding oils on it and mixing with rosemary leaves 🍃 the results was wonderful 😊
It dried my out initially too! I started using the clove/ginger root infused oil and I got some good old fashion hair grease😂 the growth has been amazing since then! You may also want to try shea butter prevent breakage, it works really well for my hair anyway.. but no you’re not tripping😂 it’ll definitely dry your hair out
Hello,so my hair is a little bit damaged because of the heat, i want to if it is good to use cloves water and add onion oil on my hair to make them grow or it is not good to do ?
I need an answer please am I supposed to use clove water after shampooing and deep conditioning. Then I would spray the clove water and apply oil also can I use a leave in straightener also pls and pls is this routine good for a low porosity hair
When you aply cloves i suggest you mix some soft oil it helps in avoiding entangling. When u use cloves on hair it entangles so to avoid breakage mix it with essential oils to help avoid entangling of hair.
My hair broke off because of moisture overload. It’s not talked about enough but too much oil and not enough wash days = disaster. I thought I was having male pattern baldness or alopecia but after trying to figure it out, I washed my head with shampoo and just put oil on my palms to rub in and then just leave in conditioner and moisturizer and it has grown back fairly quick. So, y’all.. be careful not to use too much oil lmao fr.. Edit: Also, I found this out because I was using wild growth oil. Totally was using too much. My hair was super good before hand. But it ate my crown up and it got super thin. It’s good now though that I use way less product.
It works well for my hair. I don’t have dandruff anymore and my hair is growing faster and thicker since using. I only put it on my scalp and do it twice a week. I wash my hair once a week :)
@@123f89 add some Cloves to a spray bottle with water or in a mason jar with water and give it some time to infuse. You’ll know it’s ready to use when it’s a brownish dark colour. When you use it in a spray bottle you can use it and then apply a oil over your sprayed hair. Repeat when you need to. If you wash your hair every week you can apply this like I stated after using your DIY deep conditioner 😊
