I paid almost $500 for a pair of those bogus inserts. Not only did they not help me but I could only wear them in one pair of my shoes. You have to have a shoe that has an insert that can be removed so you can put their insert in it and how many pairs of shoes do YOU have that you can pull the insert out of? Now, with that said. Both my sister and my mother have worn shoe inserts most all of their lives and cannot walk without pain without them so they do work for some people. @@craigross4565there is actually something to it, believe it or not. Your gait can tell you a lot about current and future issues for example. Sir Alex Ferguson was one who was interested in signing a young Raheem Sterling for Manchester United. But when the sports scientists at the club raised issues around sterling's gait, the advice was that his career would be shortened due to the effect of it on his knees (may have been hips, I forget). While it may seem that way most people do in fact have biomechanical issues with their feet. Flat arches being the most common, over pronation, under probation. All sorts. Very few people, but yes some people have nothing wrong with the feet or their gait. But it doesn’t mean this guys or podiatrists in general are trying to scam you out of money for something you don’t need.

If he can make 170k profit in Ireland and he wants 70k to help the UK company (a market nearly 20 times the size of the Irish one) why doesn't he take 70k from the Irish profits to grow the UK company and keep the equity? Did I miss something?

@peterd788
@peterd788 3 года назад
@@andipandi5641 Which is bullshit. The reason why international companies lump the UK and Ireland together is you can market to both as one entity with some price localisation and a local voiceover in adverts for Ireland. The British don't even mind if the voiceover has an Irish voice in the UK. For most successful Irish companies the obvious first place to expand has always been the UK. Paddy Power, when it decided to expand, didn't choose Greece as its first port of call. It chose the UK, used the same marketing strategy and the same tactics. Look at Flutter now.

@@dertdood I was part of a startup in Dublin over 20 years ago and from day one we cultivated contacts in the UK because it's a market that offers no cultural, legal or procedural resistance to an Irish firm. Maybe because he was Canadian he was a bit nervous but I suspect he was just a conman.
