✔ DiResta Barrel Table 

Hey Jimmy. I was just thinking. It's not so much what you make (and don't get me wrong that's always interesting), but more the way you make it. The little "tricks" you use that I find the most interesting. Like the way you cut the bottom off the barrel. I would have taken forever with a string line and a jig saw and still not have done as good a job. Your method was simple and very obvious, but I wouldn't have thought of it! And the brush in the paint pot. Simple solution to a messy problem! Thanks big fella!!

I always was just a watcher, I subed like ten woodworkers and watched them for nearly half a year, but when a discovered you, I was so inspired, that i started doing some woodwork myself. Now, thanks to, you I am even saving for a table saw, my very first self bought tool.

That circular plate from tabletop to tree trunk is sheer GENIUS!

The handless brush kept in the can is second only in brilliance to the use of a vise grip as a handle!

Methinks he's endorsed by Dickel not for economic reasons, but rather because they just love eachother for the fact that they tend to stamp their name everywhere. :'D

Awesome idea with the plywood and the saw attached to the cutter. I am going to try that for getting a nice level cut on a log.

Yeah that's why I like watching these videos teaches you a lot of new tricks I would have probably ended up trying to cut the barrel in half with a skill saw.

There are many times in your videos where I think, "what the hell are you doing." but then realizing later it's actually a great idea.

Jimmy, one of your best ever IMHO. Your bandsaw work never fails to disappoint. I lost count of the skills I learned by watching this. Our generation is on the verge of building a truly beautiful civilization through projects like this and design concepts like this that will be applied on a larger scale.

That's a really clever idea with the poly brush, I don't know how much time I've spent freezing brushes and using mineral spirits.

Christ -- there are so many clamps in-frame at one point, my teeth started to hurt. It was like a subconscious reminder of the palate expander I had as a kid before I got braces. This was awesome -- gonna have to go get some aspirin.

You have very quickly become my favorite maker. You never tire of finding ways to use a tool that I would have never thought about. I particularly like it when you use more primitive tools. Very nice, I have built my own meager workshop due to your inspiration.
