It looks like the director (?) didn't realize what she had done - he sure put his eyes on her after she stood up. I hope she didn't get into trouble. i think I heard somewhere that Japan is a very clean country...
Something really incredible I noticed in this video: somewhere in 9:29- 9:30, the last flag bearer (before the majorette), saw a trash (maybe a piece of paper along the way on the ground). She picked it up & inserted in her waistline (maybe for disposal later). Discipline is a body memory for the individuals, and, cultural memory for a country. I love ❤️ Japan. I love ❤️ band.
These guys are awesome. In case you don't know it yet, nobody tells them how to do anything. It's the older students that teach the newcomers the choreography, the songs, everything. They get to choose whatever they want to play and how to perform it and it shows. They're not only proud but happy to do what they do. Love them!
@@retiredmusiceducator3612I suggest you look again. Though marching bands are mostly female at japan, there are males in there too. Also, generalisation of a group with ”guys” is generally accepted to be non-gender based, unless you’re non-native speaker of the language.
I was in a bad place, very depressed, I watched this band perform and I started to feel better, their cute smiles and fantastic performance made everything better 😊
I'm watching this as a massive teenage gang gun battle rages down the street from me in the USA. I was in a good marching band when I was young. Now, I watch these wonderful, clean, talented people who show nothing but honor and respect for one another. I weep as my world rots to it's utter demise. Thank you for a ray of hope that there is some humanity left somewhere.
i am so impressed! as they walk, dance a lot, and keep play the instrument non-stop for long time, and keep smiling! wow... i was in marching band, i never seen group of marching band keep playing without break during walking... amazing!
Hello, I'm glad to see your comment that I agree with. Here's a video of 113th Term of 2016-2017. I call it the Battle of the Trains versus Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Brass Band Club. The route can be normally walked in less than 45 minutes. Notice that the lone snare drummer plays every single beat without rest. Oops. Upon listening. I added the number 1 video after the number 2 video, as it was recorded with a better microphone producing better sound. You have such a large group of talented youngsters! They bring smiles... and admiration from anyone viewing their performances. From the USA: Good on y'all!
Amazing!! They must practice hours on end. I smiled during the whole performance. Class act with the young lady picking up paper. She was fast! Way to go. Best wishes for a bright and happy future.🥰🥰🥰🥰
i dare say one of the best bands i've ever seen in my life. not only their passion, energy and coordination, but also great musicianship. really enjoyed this one.
If you're listening to just the sound alone, the musical talent by itself is amazing with the perfect pitches and harmonies and rhythms. But then when you open your eyes and actually see them in action, it's even more amazing how they dance and march like that and still play music so beautifully as if they were sitting still in a concert hall.
Thank you. They are amazing! They look so different then those of 2018. Still, so many coordinated, simultaneously joyfully executed precise performances. A spectacle of love and grace.
Their parents, friends and school must feel really proud. This is a another great example of their dedication, fitness and commitment to their skills. I’ve watched them since their Rose Bowl performance and always wait for more. Their music skills are second to none.
Teachers at this school deserve worldwide recognition - this is extraordinary, amazing, superb! The arrangements, the memorizing of musical parts, the choreography - all at such a high standard: it's magnificent. The leading trombone quartet are just fantastic
As far as I know, for most part they are self taught. There are some degree of guidance by adults. Mostly knowledge past down by seniors to juniors. May be i'm wrong.
LUV THEM ! Truely amazing ! ! ! Not only are they talented and extremely coordinated, they are a world treasure. Recognized by their professionalism, and they never cease to amaze me with all their energy they vibrantly display. Some of the girls are carrying large drums which are bigger than the girls themselves. Keep up the good work. HE HE - USA
I am a Brazilian who loves Japanese culture and have had the opportunity to visit Kyoto last year (for the first time in my life). The rendition of "Tristeza" literally gave me goosebumps. ブラジル人として、本当にありがとうございます。

They have so much fun when they perform. What a talented group of musicians blended as a team. Love hearing them and watching their synchronized movements!
I am deeply impressed by this team! I know only through a lot of effort and practice can it be perfect like that. Well done and thank you for the amazing performance!
