the purpose to sieve flour is to add additional air to the batter which is suitable for making sponge cake alike cakes. sieving both flours before add in to the liquid mixture is not necessary in this recipe because yeast can release more than enough carbon dioxide gases inside the batter to rise the cake. thank you for your feedback. this is a low sugar recipe, you can increase the sweetness by adding more sugar and omit the soy sauce (optional) which used for darkening the batter.
Good Morning, you can omit the corn flour if you wanted to, the purpose of adding it is to enhance the softness of the cake, even until next day provided you cover it or not expose it to open air. Thank you❤
you can replace it with the same volume of milk, my recipe an egg is weighted 53g without shell. since the density of milk & egg is different in order to have the same thickness of the batter as per my video shown hence, i would suggest you add gradually the replacement milk . Thank you
