I have been to Taiwan (only Taipei) but it was not like your amazing rural experience in this video. Thank you for sharing, I feel like I was there with you. I love your channel!

I can tell the farmers are Taiwanese aborigines, very likely the Amis tribe. Millet and taro are the main crops of Taiwanese aboriginal people. Rice were absent in Taiwan until the Dutch brought it to Taiwan in 17th century. The vegetable 山蘇(Bird's-nest fern) dipped with wasabi also is the typical dish of Taiwanese indigenous groups.

I see in this video you have a plant called reselle. In jamaica 🇯🇲 there is this exact plant. A must have at Christmas. It is call SOREL. Pick it. Seed out. Boil with ginger and spice like cinnamon, Pimento, cloves. sweetened with sugar once cooled. Jamaican Rum is then added. Served cold. I also like to drink it as tea. Minus the Rum of course and not too much sugar. I wonder who had it first. Jamaica or Japan

We have that vegetable that dip in wasabi in Malaysia too, we call it Kacang Botor. We usually eat it raw and dip it in 'sambal belacan', a spicy sauce made from shrimp paste.

nice. I don't understand a thing, but still, good video bro. clicked on it because it said "stinky tofu", when I was in China I tried stinky tofu which was black on the outside. What can I say, not a fan, regular tofu is much better imo. Oh, and I love y'all guys' circular spinning tables, those were in China too, such a smart invention.
