Ronnie Dunn is one of the best male country vocalist, ever. Brooks & Dunn had a wonderfully successful career. Very respected by the country community.

If you haven't already watched "Believe" by Brooks and Dunn You must watch the official video... NOT a live version. Obviously this live version was very good and I approve... But for "Believe" the official video tells the story and adds so much to the already great song.

Kix Brooks is the guitar player in the black cowboy hat and Ronnie Dunn is the lead singer with the dynomite vocals. They are now retired but have a huge number of hit songs that are available on RU-vid, check them all out, you won'tbe sorry that you did!
Very late commenting on this one, but I've had the pleasure of seeing B&D live twice, once when they were babies in the early 90s, and this past spring (they're back to touring together again 🤗) - and they still sound just as fantastic, and put on a stellar show. The crowd absolutely goes insane and sings/dances along. They have sustained so well and sound superb for "old guys".

"My Maria", "You're Gonna Miss Me' "South of Santa Fe' I saw them in person a few years ago. They had already been 'Duo of the Year" for 10 yrs straight. The show they put on, had all the energy and passion and focus as it must of had the first time singing, all those wonderful songs over and over again live, over the years. OUT STANDING . Brooks & Dunn was a great choice! A great one to do close to 911 is "Only in America." (When Brooks & Dunn released “Only in America” just a few months before the 9/11 terrorists’ attacks, little did they know Americans would cling to the patriotic song to help mend their broken hearts.) I'm sure we could come up with a great list of country songs that were written because of 9/11 that you could do the week leading up to it.

New to the channel. Loving it. I like my 90's and classic country. The quintessential country song revolves around storytelling. I enjoy the artists you have reviewed, but I would like to guide you towards a sub-genre of country music. These guys are not well known to the casual county fan, but guys like Guy Clark (Randall Knife, The Guitar) and Ray Wylie Hubbard (Conversation With the Devil) are amazing storytellers that will not disappoint.
This was the Best Couples dance back in the 90s. I spent at least 3 nights a week at the local bar dancing all night. You should really check out the band Alabama. Any of their songs, but one of my favorites is 'Song of the South'. Them listen to Brad Paisley's song about old Alabama songs. Lol sorry can't think of the name of that song. The video is hilarious.
I have seen these guys in concert 3 times. They are AWESOME live!!!! Most fun I have ever had at a concert. Living legends. (this was back when I didn't even like country)

Live is always great, however, in the case of country music, you get the whole package with the video. Not so much on this tune, but on your adventures going forward. Most songs tell a story, whether it is a fun song or a serious one & the videos are like mini movies. You might as well get the 'whole experience'. As for this song , you are correct. Ronnie Dunn has an amazing voice & he & Kix Brooks (in the black hat) are huge stars & have been for years.
Jusr thinking back to my very first concert I remember.. it was Charley Pride .....at the Delaware State Fair.. I know you don't know the states.. but I was born and raised in the First State of America.. and Charley Pride was a black man back in the 70's that brought the house down.. These guys are country legends. First heard them in the 1980's. Live is great on some songs but it is not great on all songs. Remember the video of Humble & Kind and Wagon Wheel. Some songs are taken to another level with the visuals, imho.
Another good song that shows off Ronnie Dunn's voice is a duet of Brooks and Dunn and Reba McEntire. The song is called If You See Her, If You See Him.
Carrie Underwood does a great rendition of this at their “Last rodeo” when they retired. They were a great ! They also wrote a lot of great songs that artists sing today.

I am loving your channel! If I had to recommend something from 90s there is two that jump out at me Pam Tillis "The River and The Highway", and the other is Terri Clark's "No Fear". I recommend highly the music video for these two. If you want to stay with Brooks and Dunn I highly recommend the Duet with Reba McEntire "If You See Him, If You See Her" Also the music video for this one is a high recommendation.
