I appreciate these pose shorts, Charlie. I go to a yoga class but our teacher isn't really good at explaining poses and alignment, so I rely on videos like yours. I live in a small remote town so I don't have other options for teachers.

I feel really stupid for not thinking of using the block to help me when I took some classes and kept trying to do this with no modifications or help from the instructor. Thanks Charlie for the pose of the day videos. One thing I remember from a yoga class was that she had us do this against a wall but in a kneeling position to get the feel of the alignment. I found it helped. But never really got to work on it as the pose doesn’t seem to be incorporated in to a lot of yoga sessions.
I’ve noticed that my feet turns inwards when I am at this position. I don’t know why. Maybe for more stability? Does that make sense? Do you know the reason, Charlie? Is it common? Thank you!
