Fantastic painting! It's so hard to paint the background after you've painted the main subject and you make it look easy! I always struggle with keeping the paper wet enough and avoiding hard edges. Love watching you paint, bravo!
Thank you so much! 🤍 And you're so right, it is HARD! One of the hardests things to master with watercolors in my opinion. I've noticed the same issue that you described whenever I use cheaper watercolor paper. So nowadays, whenever I know there're some difficult techniques or lots of layers/water involved, I always whip out the higher quality papers 😄
Waah this is beautifull ! I don't know why but I just love those Sakura flowers so much, maybe because I love what they add to landscapes in Japan especially ? Haha ☺️ I think when I'll try this tutorial I'll make the background light-green with abit of blue on top and some yellow-hidden touches, I think it can bring a very springy zen vibe haha Even thought I really like your version ! I have myself on my screen-phone a dark background with sakura's 🙈 dark blue goes very well with those flowers ☺️ I think you did an amazing job ! Light blue and green tones would look so beautiful as a contrast to light pink flowers! 😊 And omg you won't believe it but I have a black wallpaper with white sakura flowers as my phone background too 🤣 What're the odds, haha!!
Thanks for another great demo Anna. So I painted this last week - the colours worked well although all the water I used for the background made my card quite stiff - I should have predicted that! I might still send it anyway😊.

Sorry for the late response! I don't live in the US so I can't really help you with this problem. Here in Japan, there're printers in convinience store and libraries but if you don't have an opportuniry to print somewhere else and don't have a color printer at home, I don't know if I would recommend the digital products :( Maybe you could look into getting some stickers, washi tapes or decoration papers instead?
