- Race C: Dragontrail Seaside || Gr.4

4:50 It's monday morning, first day of the week, and a lobby from DR B to A+. Later in the week and at busier times the field won't be as spread out as it was now. I still say we need longer races, including this one, not shorter.

Thanks a lot Tidge ! Also glad to be seen in one of your video (F-type in the Brands Gr.4 Couldn't do much against the A+ competition). I went to DR A recently and it's really thanks to your guides that made me progress a lot. Keep up the good work !

I’m glad I’m the only one who doesn’t care for set up races, it’s almost as if you don’t have the “cheat code” that you put in before each race you’re at a disadvantage, default set up makes you a “better driver” (imo) while set ups allow you to manipulate the vehicle to be a better driver in my eyes, last week the entire week I drove the Porsche in daily race c with no set ups and was able to manage some decent finishes luckily

Great guides Tidge. Helped a lot. I haven't raced in weeks. I used the Veyron on C, with your tuning. I'm at the lowest of D lobbies right now, but I started 4th. First lap I died at the chicane, fell to last. So I pitted right after. Ended up in 5th place. Passed more cars in the pit than on the track! If I didn't die I might have won with that pace.

I love dragon trail seaside. I was able to get a 1:46:724 with the mustang that has me in the top 500 as of right now. I’m sure it won’t stay that way but I’m happy with the placement I got as a B rated racer. (I never been an A rank but I’m getting close.)

The way from b to a is the longest I guess if they not change that..... it takes a while even if you not the slowest.... gl keep pushing 👍💪

I just signed up for Playstation Plus which meant this week was my first time in Daily Races. I've only done race A and B. Much fun in race A with the Alfa although being in the lower rankings D rated it can be a bit of a demolition derby banger racing type race. Thanks for the track guide for the car, I shall be looking to incorporate those tips into my races.

Had a couple of races online today after a break from online racing for a while. Sadly I was reminded why I stopped playing online daily races very quickly . The racing is just stupidly dirty and annoying . I wish Polyphony digital could work out some way of stopping all the ramming fools. The current penalty system is just way to soft.

I wondered why I got the snap of oversteer in race B. It looks like the front damage repaired itself and that upset the balance of the car 😂 Or that's what i'm claiming anyway

27:25 Imverybigboss doesn't go full on the brakes, to me they were using just enough brakes to slow down adequately for the corner, but also to ensure they'd clip you and unsettle the car. I say that because it was at the very end of the race and imo they knew that if they continued to race cleanly they'd definitely lose the position, so used that tactic to get p12 back from you

I'm really happy with my Smarties livery, I just quickly made it just after we finished Race B and this is the best I could think off. Speaking of Race B I really thought I hit Sheltie off the track when I was trying to avoid him spinning out but didn't know what happened behind me so thought I waited for him but didn't noticed he was ahead and I'm like confused to what happened until I saw you were off the track in this vid, and for Race C I will take your advice not running MR I was struggling to make the death chicane that even I was passive going through it I still it the barriers.

Sorry, it was more in reference to back I think last year when the grass was used to gain an advantage so we always joke about grass usage now.

Slower cars = more chaos. As an A driver in mixed A/B DR lobbies, closer racing just means more shameful blocking and ramming. Most B rated drivers just have no racing etiquette.

In all honesty, does anybody REALLY ENJOY racing multiplayer on GT7 anymore? Race B & C are repeat snooze fests for tryhard wannabe drivers and RU-vidrs. Race A routinely has the best race, but doesn’t count towards your DR score so it’s pointless fun. Anybody thinking GT8 will be different, I’ve got some land in Scotland I’d sell you for a really great price…..

Yes, yes we do. It’s the best option of having regular multiplayer lobbies against people in your skill level after iRacing. No other racing sim/game does a better job.

I enjoy it, but there are so many things with the game that PD just isn't fixing. In no particular order: 1. No innovation in the Daily Races. They are all repeats of previous ones. They also lack any strategy most of the time. 2. The BOP is a mess, particularly in Gr1 and Gr2, which is why we rarely see those groups in daily races 3. The lack of updated cars. Gr3 is missing the new Corvette, Ferrari, Mclaren, Mustang, Porsche (I think), and more. The new Wec Hypercars are not in the game as well, apart from the Toyota. And instead of adding those cars, they add a bunch of street cars no one cares about. 4. The tire model is bad. How can a "racing simulator" not have flat/punctured tire? While that is really inexcusable, I would forgive them more if the tires actually wore out. However, it is sometimes better to race on all red tires than pit to change them (i.e. the Gr3 Road Atlanta race before PD added the mandatory pit stop) This game has so much potential that PD isn't realizing. They could be doing so much more with this game, but they don't. Unless PD changes and puts more effort into this game, I doubt GT 8 will be any better.
