Decades later, the killer still hasn't been found. ‘Join The Behavior Panel as we lean into the myriad of false leads, a mountain of mishandled evidence and a barrage of accusations. This interview reveals several behaviors and you can examine the 'behavioral clues' to what might have happened with The Panel.
The Behavior Panel comprises the world's top body language and behavior experts: Scott Rouse, Mark Bowden, Chase Hughes, and Greg Hartley. They analyze behavior and body language in videos of public interest. One more thing about the ransom note analysis... they called themselves a "foreign faction" - "We are a small group of individuals that represent a small foreign faction." Foreigners don't refer to themselves as foreigners. And, why would they say they are "small"? TMI = total BS.

And with the house being a crime scene why bring lots of friends over before the cops arrive. I would have been so out of my mind that I would be slumped to the ground screaming and crying, not calling friends over. And to say the son was asleep. How would he sleep thru her screaming and crying on the 911 call? And wasn't there a bowl of pineapple on the table and pineapple in the little girl's stomach. Wasn't there partial notes in the trash where someone had restarted the note. No way does someone stay after they murdered someone in their own house and stay to write a long RN. Just doesn't add up. Why wouldn't you say "someone took my daughter please get here" or " my daughter has been taken!"..... No stranger would have left a tediously-slow ransom note for a delayed payoff knowing JonBenet was still in the house and would be found almost immediately. @areyouavinalaff

Experts always say that the guilty use too much detail in order to present a believable lie, looks like someone used too much detail in the ransom note in order to be convincing. When Patsy talks about the length of the note it seemed to me like she knew she messed up on that, through ignorance, because she didn't know what a ransom note should look like. She also talks about the note being pre-written, but wasn't it shown to be from a pad in the house? Lastly, the note was written to the husband specifically, not to Patsy and John, or the Ramsays. It'as logical, and more natural, to write a note to someone else but not to self.

Two things bother me about this case: (1) The ransom note, the amount of money demanded was TOO close to the amount of JR's bonus..who would know that? and then there was the length of it. (2) Why didn't they search the house BEFORE they called 9-1-1? It was only AFTER the police had arrived that JR went to the basement and "discovered" his daughter. I have always felt that there's way more to the story than what has been fed us; even knowing that the investigators probably withheld certain facts about the case from the public; that these parents were hiding information ..that they KNEW what happened.

I read a book on the murder, way back, and the smallest sentence from that book has stuck in my mind for all these years. When they found JonBenet's body, someone shouted out that she had been found. The author stated that everyone in the house ran towards whoever said it but Patsy didn't move from her chair, she was sitting by the window in their living room. As a mother of 4, I'd be wild to see my child found and okay and I'd be doing a Road Runner impression to get to her. But Patsy just sat there, didn't move. This said to me that she knew. I also thought it was weird that they rang people and got them to come around. Having guests at a time like that would be a nightmare for me, I'm sure I'd be frantic and tearing my house apart. I'm positive I wouldn't be interested in entertaining or talking to people (who weren't police officers). Then they booked a flight back to Atlanta within days because they liked the lifestyle there? A ransom note when JonBenet was still in the house is inexplicable. Lou Smith was the only hope of solving this case at the time but he's gone now. So much weirdness displayed by these people. I don't believe they killed their daughter, but i believe they know a lot more than they have ever disclosed. Just my opinions.

If he was dead, I suppose I’d be the culprit by my reaction… I called the police at age 14 when my baby brother was hit by a car…I was incoherent. The operator snapped at me, then hung up. Even the SBTC thing could be considered a reply to "Do you know who took her?" But Patsy felt that her daughter's blondeness was more important than her actual *name*. You know, since this is the “tenth book written” and evidently,Patsy did not get her time in the limelight. Was waiting when it first happened for them to be formally interviewed by police, SEPARATED. It never happened; they made sure of that. They’re outright liars. The only time they spoke to police was when the police were at the home. The “ransom” tome was a laugh. There’s just so much these two hid, and got away with it, hiding behind their lawyers and money. In the interview where “the mother” says…”we believe that at least 2 people know who did this, the guilty party and someone the guilty person told”. Oh, really? The Ramsey's even had alarms but didn't have them on. Not looking in every bit of the house before calling police is odd, as well as, not running to the basement when they said they found her there. That is even more strange. I believe that sibling rivalry may have had something to do with her death. 2 years ago my husband was supposed to be watching our little dog because I've had oral surgery. I woke up to find my little dog not in the house because my husband had forgotten her outside. I was frantic I went out of the house without shoes on sobbing and crying and looking for her. I did find her because someone had picked her up and taken her to the veterinary office and mile down from our house. But in the meantime I was panicked and frantic.

The one telling point is the note, it’s written on paper from the house. I don’t believe someone would take the time in the middle of a kidnapping to write the note you would do this before entering the house. The person would be high on adrenaline and the note would have been scribbled down not written in the way it was. I just don’t believe someone would be so calm as to leave the note after killing her, if this was the case the killer has killed multiple times to become so comfortable in there actions.

I just can’t comprehend how she can disassociate from the situation. I was “numb” for almost a month after losing my daughter which then morphed into a total nut job. I stayed in that place for a couple of years and did some stupid things. I had nightmares every time I tried to sleep - ambulance sirens, thinking my any girl was still alive but they would not give her back because I was a bad mom. I was afraid I would lose my son. Horrible terrible times

They would have looked everywhere she could possibly get into in the house. Cabinets, crawl spaces, refrigerators, everywhere. The last place checked is usually the attic, because the access is not always noticeable in daily life. They "found" the body only after being encouraged to look around, 6 hours later. They probably left her there thinking that it would move suspicion away from them if the body was found by police. But the police were called to a kidnapping, not a murder and didn't automatically search the house. Whether they did it or not, to believe they had not already found her body in their own home is to believe they aren't subject to human emotion. People look harder for their keys than these people looked for their daughter. I feel they knew she was dead, and probably knew how and why.

My gut feeling is that something occurred within the family….and that they had at least type some of knowledge of what happened to Jon Bennett. I feel that a mother who is so focused on appearances (and who groomed her daughter in the same way) would be very invested in maintaining the perception of innocence in order to uphold the image of the family. I think that Patsy’s desperate pleading on the 911 call, was an an outpouring of her recognition of the irrevocable loss of their daughter. Was it also mourning, because she was also aware of the circumstances of her death…I just wonder? Having lost their daughter in the worst possible way, perhaps their only choice was to uphold a type of steely determination to not lose their public reputation as well. …? I hope I am forgiven if I am all wrong. No family deserves to lose a child in this way. I think parents must also die somewhat emotionally in the loss of a child, and be changed in ways we can just not fully understand. I hope one day there may be an answer.

Someone can be a narcissist , without being guilty of murder . Both ppl can be narcissists without being guilty of murder .Good job Mark as usual keeping it neutral. Chase is usually right about everything though as well - and went so far as to opine Guilty Knowledge . Using the law of parsimony aka Occam’s Razor - they both know what happened and one of the family is guilty . I still think Burke did it. Patsy was clear Burke did not come down that morning and that’s likely absolutely true . Burke’s video speaking about waking up to police in his room rang true. It happened the night before . He got put to bed. I lean towards the pineapple theory or whatever it was - JB snuck some of his food and he clonked her with the flashlight. Based on his childhood testimony to the psychiatrist when he made a motion of swinging an object as his idea on what happened - I think he was telling the truth . He had a history of disturbing childhood behaviour such as scatolia & violence toward his sister . I think that’s also why he’s so bloody weird now. My suspicion is he didn’t know he killed her and the parents gaslit him his entire life to the point his memories are messed up and he literally doesn’t know if he killed her but wants to believe he didn’t . The parents made it look like a kidnapping in a panic to protect their son, my view. If during the 911 call PR truly did say “what did you DO !!?” she may well have been addressing the father, as I suspect he was the one who interferes with the body and fashioned the garrotte.

Sending positive energy to Mr. Rouse and his family, and big virtual hugs. What screams out to me is the complete lack of emotion from PR, and her husband as well which is even stranger as he found JBR in the basement. Eight years ago I found my daughter after she commited suicide and I still cannot speak of the event without emotion. It feels as if PR and her husband are a united front in defensive mode rather than two parents trying to relay honest information about a horrific event in their lives. Not once was there at least moisture in her eyes, a faltering in speech or any other sign of emotion. Something hinky went on for sure.

Without knowing what Patsy Ramsey’s vision is like, when she isn’t speaking her eyes appear normal. As she speaks to make points, her eyes become more asymmetrical, right eye dominate.
