LG is a scam LOL they put 4 HDMI 2.1s but there only 40Gbps ports LOL sony and samung have 2 but do full 48Gbps, the C1 has frame drops with 120fps because of that

Coming from a C9 and CX I compared the C2 against this A80J and chose the Sony Once seeing them side by side in real life there was no way I'd go home with another LG

@@ArtVandelayOfficial I just ordered the A90J 83 inch. Excited to receive it, almost went with a G2 Gallery 83 but I just love Sony's color and processing motion.

@@MrJrolon1975 Nice one,did you see them in store first? Be careful with reality creation, anything over 25 seems to add noise and fizzyness 20 or auto looks perfect imo

@@ArtVandelayOfficial Yeah I saw them in Best Buy side by side. Very close, but something about the Sony image drew me in more. The sound on the Sony was great even for just TV speakers.

Advance contrast enhancer on medium will give you more pop. If you want that extra pop I'd suggest doing gamma on negative 2 or negative 3 and advance contrast on high

@@miguelp619 my gamma is on negative 2. I'll give advanced contrast enhancer on medium and see how I like it.

@@garyrobinson8665 I noticed the advance contrast feature works differently with different content. Sometimes it makes the image a lot brighter. And sometimes with sdr content it can mess with the brightness. When I'm gaming or watching an HDR movie I have it on high. When on dolby vision or watching sdr content I've had it on medium or off ..that's what ive noticed. And some RU-vid content can work better on high while others work better on medium or off

@@miguelp619 in now keep it off for sdr content and high for hdr. Brightness 35, peak luminance low. Contrast 75.

@@garyrobinson8665 yeah I noticed it's definitely best to keep it off for sdr content. For some HDR content it looks better low or medium but I have ran across some HDR content where it looked best on high. For example we've been watching the new seasons of Dexter on showtime. Not sure if it's real hdr but that show DEFINITELY looks best with advanced contrast enhancer on high and gamma on negative 2 and black levels at 49. Black adjust on high as well with peak luminance on high . If I reduce the contrast enhancer on that show or raise the gamma it looks either way too dark or washed out . So advanced contrast enhancer is definitely something you have to play with on these new Sony tvs. Some content looks best with it off and some looks best with it on high

Break in is real 200 hours is Necessary.

The 65c8 is a great TV, but the A80J has a more natural picture that you might not be used to. You can jack up the settings and get that warm tone c8 look if you want, and it will look more wow in your demos. But over time with something close to FTB's settings, you'll have more immersion with the 80j because your brain will accept the picture as more realistic. Also, almost all of FTB's settings are processor choices, so you wouldn't change any of these due to break in. Now I would hold off on prof calibration, or messing with things like white balance etc until the TV has run a few hundred hours.

@@bwiz6514 one of two things happened this past weekend. I finally got 180 hours on this A80j and it’s broken in or yeah maybe my eyes have adjusted to this A80j. I watched some good content and the picture did finally come alive. Now.... what’s gonna happen when I finally turn my C8 back on 🤔

@@michaelkreisel3573 I'm glad I'm not the only one to think that my a80j looked horrible out of the box after hearing how great it was out of the box. Just have had the TV for 2 days and messing with settings hopefully to achieve a great picture. First OLED TV and I can say that brightness is definitely what holds these TVs back. Has the break in on your TV produce better picture?

@@marc78501 yes. I’ve had mine for 6 weeks and some of the bugs have worked themselves out. Still having issues but not as frequent and yeah the picture does look a bit better. Or maybe my eyes are adjusting. Although I still gravitate to my C8. I have set up the custom color feature and I tend to use it more than the native settings. Over all the Sony has been a disappointment for me.

Sometime is it tends to soften the picture. And there’s no reason to use it unless there is low Resolution content being played.If you experience noise in the picture that would be the time to use it. Hope this helps you out.🥂 btw please like and subscribe.

Live colour should ALWAYS be off, its fake colours and I have no idea why Sony have it defaulted on

@@fadetoblack.- I picked up the 65" Z9F last year at bestbuy for $1800. It replaced my 55" sony 930E. I game on it via PS5 and watch a ton of 4k UHDs and streams in 4k. I enjoy the Z9F. The upscale, peak brightness, shadow detail, and color accuracy.

Yeah I uploaded it in 4K I think it’s because of the length of the video I have no idea why RU-vid did not upload this in the right format.

Yeah I must be that Apple phone because my TVs are professionally calibrated especially on the latest two videos. I guess that’s what you get for trying to judge a picture through a compressed signal on RU-vid using cameras and going through millions of miles worth of Internet. Like I see an a lot of my videos take it with a grain of salt it’s a video. It’s not live TV as if you were sitting in the same room happy new year✌️

Once you're used to it, it's like a normal TV but much much higher quality picture than any Samsung led

Yes it’s called the TV calibration adjusting the white points. I will have new settings up very shortly addressing this issue.

@@fadetoblack.- thank you that would be super cool because I still hesitate to buy the A80 or the lg g1 because you talked about grid lines in the clear sky and I'm afraid
