thank you Sir. I have one I've been glue-pulling only and your confirming my techniques, that I'm not crazy for switching tips and glues. I'm talking to a pro here but I found that NOT pulling it to the point it pops off (sometimes), that you can 3/4 pull more times on a tip placement than one BIG pull pulling the tap off. Maybe this is a paint risk? I dunno.
@Petersondent

It could be a paint risk only if the car has been repainted or if there is a paint chip

the upper one is easily removable with proper technique. you could have tapped the top dent from that tight valley you made into a more shallow dent after the first few pulls and made it come up clean.

Dentcraft. You have to keep the tips clean. Fine sandpaper and polish usually does the trick.
@thinklab4598
@thinklab4598 3 года назад
Dead on dent tools “ballistic tip set” is the bomb, then the VIP sniper, VIP directional, VIP blending tip, the edgy knob for a lager blending tip, the dentcraft R4 cherry tip, and the dentcraft m96r mushroom tip. That is all you need! That will blend and knockdown as blending is just as important as knocking down. Actually you will be blending 10x more than knocking down if you have any clue what you are doing, so get a decent blending hammer as well. The carbon 3 piece from power PDR is the best budget option for a blending hammer with removable tips.

i think it is better to heat up the area your going to apply the glued tab to first, then after applying the tab is to cool the area down quickly with either cold water in a spray bottle or liquid gas refill for lighter really cools it down making the glue harden real quick. The connection between the glued tab and the surface your pulling is far superior and reduces the wait time to ready for a pull instantly especially with the liquid fuel freezing it making the glue solid. Try it and see for yourself the difference, you'll never do it that way again. Eagle One Over and out

The different colors have to do with the different temperature ratings, or rather what temperature they work best at outside. Some colors work better when it is hot outside, and some work better when it’s cold outside I just have to read the description of each.

you can get PDR glue sticks on amazon but i have used store bought glue sticks before and they didn't work as well as PDR sticks but they did pull enough to get the dent out it just took more work. you can't use the cheap brands of glue, i used either 3m or gorilla glue sticks, i also made sure the paint on my panel has been cleaned with grease and wax remover, the last thing is the year of the vehicle, the sheet metal on older cars is considerably thicker which makes it harder to pull with store bought glue sticks.........

Hi there! I have been a watcher of your channel for a while now. Can you tell me your recommendation on making a fog line on my light? I saw your video where you striped your light and left the section white, however, I have heard that gray gives more depth into the dent. Any suggestions? My line board is all one color light. Thanks!
@Petersondent
@Petersondent 5 лет назад
Tina Pratt Thanks for your message Tina. What gives the fog is usually the late ending going from Now Onlate to lighted service without any lines my board has two different colored lights so it tends to show a little more fog. Try turning your middle light off and have the two outside ones on. Also angle is everything. Thanks for watching and commenting👍
