I was going to say find a starting point and sprint as hard as you can then slowly walk back to the start and repeat until the sprints aren't actually sprinting. You want to be sprinting all out, not a fast running pace.

Can you "sprint" on an elliptical machine? Because of a disability, I don't really want to run actual sprints on the street. I started to do 30 second sprints on the elliptical machine at maximum resistance, achieving currently something like 400 Watts (until my legs get really heavy). Is that comparable?

Dropped 100 pounds, dangerously high blood pressure normalized, high energy, high libido, smooth mood-state, brain functioning great; in the gym building lean muscle.. My drive which I thought I was slowly losing with age came back stronger than ever. My mind is sharp, no more brain fog. I have so much energy that I started working out, because I was finding it hard to sleep. I own a couple of small businesess and my productivity is on a different level. I can work 12 hours straight and then go to the gym where before I was exausted after 7-8 hours needing a nap. I stopped snoring and I dont need afternoons naps anymore. I wake up after 6 hours of sleep and feeling fully refreshed. So far im down 30 pounds, but it seems to me that the junk I used to eat was making me sick in many ways.

(Female here… me thinks🙃). I have several decades under my belt, but I am NOT giving up, nor will I give in. I am fairly disciplined, though I won’t achieve sainthood any time soon. I have to say, however, that when I started Dr. O’s sprinting protocol… OMG!!! Things changed rapidly and EASILY! I can’t recommend his advice more. Nothing touches… in fact, nothing comes close to his sprinting recommendation… NOTHING! Three laps on the circuit and two sprints during each lap. Wow! My goal is 5:10. I’ll get there. Btw, sadly, a friend of mine just passed away from heart disease. The last two weeks of her life were BRUTALLY AWFUL. I don’t want that to be my story, nor do I want to incur the $662,000 hospital expense. Just something to think about. Keep sprinting.

Awesome video Dr. Chaffee! Dr. O’Mara brings a great yet different perspective to the carnivore community! I hope more people understand how the whole body is affected by plant toxins and how visceral fat builds in the body like plant toxins! People need to see the damage affects all systems in the whole body and not just one isolated area! Those going into medical school school should be trained on the affects of visceral fat, and it should be taught in schools as well- elementary - high school. I also feel that taking the perspective of corporate productivity in employees when healthier is a benefit if on carnivore and fasting. And this will help persuade more humans to switch to carnivore! That will be how we get more humans on board with their investments in their employees. Companies loose profit from employees that are sick from vegan/ vegetarian/ western/ SAD/ or any other dieters consuming plant based low saturated fat diets. Processed foods or whole plant foods (raw or cooked) doesn’t matter the form- it’s all plant based. Brain fog occurs to corporate employees coming up with new ideas- so that drastically reduced, they are sick so taking off work and they loose money that way, their work production is slower,viruses like recently make them more sick, and there is an overall loss of profit due to all that! If companies invested on this carnivore and fasting protocol- they would have strong, sharp, fast productive employee, profits and creativity of new ideas would drastically increase! Their competitors would fall behind big time! Viscersl fat needs to be educated to the public and how damaging it is! All vegans and vegeterians who are eating whole foods- not processed, would like to see their scans of visceral fat and shock on faces when they see how damaging plant based is to humans! Thanks again Dr. Chaffee and Dr. O’Mara! Great job!

Hello! Thanks for all your information on a proper human diet. We are confused about studies from large medical and educational institutions saying red meat and heme iron cause type two diabetes. From our research, the major culprits are sugar and carbohydrates. They also say consumption of plants lowers the possibilities of getting type two and even cures the condition. Lots of conflicting information. Could you maybe present information that clears this up? Thank you very much for your time and efforts. It's appreciated.

Dr O’MARA we loved the interview and your enthusiasm, so good to see you back with Dr Chaffee. Yesterday I heard you can use an ab stimulator for visceral fat? I will not eat fiber, I am making plain L Reuteri yogurt which is helpful with oxytocin. Many of us are well aware of the corrupt medical industry and how it became what it is today.

Not a fan of an stimulator to eliminate visceral fat.

The sprinter image reminds me of how men used to look before meat was vilified and labor became too much work (as we became zombie like). At 32 minutes I was shocked at Dr. O'Mara's description of the perfect steak of my choice to eat. But as he explained, it all became very clear of course. Visceral fat is the same in animals as it is in diseased humans, so now I will choose non visceral cuts of meats. To get the visceral fat in animals, they are fed man made grains to gain fat. They are also fed other non species food, so visceral fat gain makes sense. I know the flavor won't be there, but as usual, it's about eating to be healthy, and not for flavor. I will miss my weekly diseased rib eye steaks tho😒

Anyone with a gut most likely has fatty liver. When weight gain from plant foods starts to occur with age, it begins in the liver then gets shoved in other areas, so all other organs and muscles. Huge hot mess!

Dr Chaffee, you seemed distracted by something... ;) I'm carnivore 2 years now, and using resistance training. After watching this, I'll add HIIT (Tabata) to my workouts. I used to be a long distance runner but gradually replaced that with resistance training. Body composition improved notably and so did everything else

@wocket42
@wocket42 Год назад
Fermentation reduces the toxins others are afraid of. I guess it's also a question of the amount. I don't think Dr. Sean is recommending to eat fermented food as a staple. There are even some animal based fermented foods like kefir and blue cheese he mentions. So there is that. 1:11:28

Love the information, thank you both! Question on endurance running. Have you seen carnivore endurance runners and do they also have visceral fat? My guess is that alk the endurance athletes you have seen are carb loading and eating tons of processed food, so it might not be the endurance sports to blame?
@WhoMichaelWho
@WhoMichaelWho 8 месяцев назад
He's not blaming it or saying it causes it( processed food causes it). He is saying endurance exercise does not have the required intensity to remove visceral fat once you have got it.

@@WhoMichaelWho yeah you may be right on this perspective. I understood it as saying the long endurance stress might be causative as well.

Everyone in the carnivore community claims marbled fatty meat is what we should be eating but here he says its diseased animal. This is not true. My father was a butcher and i know from experience that some of the best grass fed cattle have wonderful fat marbling. Grass fed cows do not lack marbling. Just make sure it’s grass fed. Don’t avoid marbling.

If you are on carnivore and eating only lean beef what is your fat source? Yolks Bacon and butter? But the bacon is likely eating the same feed that caused marbling in the beef. Extremely hard for the average person to find pastured organic soy free eggs. Maybe the leaf fat from a grass fed cow? Maybe the grass fed beef tallow sold in glass is ok?

Ohh man! I like my endorphin buzz from long slow cardio. All right so how do you feel about a 40 minute walk, 10 minutes in you put on a 15 Pound waited pack. I tried starting out with the pack weighted but my knees started popping. Guess I need the Warm up. Then I do about 1/2 an hour on a bicycle, with a couple of big OL uphills. is that too long? Should I try and sprint a bit more? My way is staying about the same but I am getting a lot stronger and can do cardio longer and longer. I know that was a long question whatever, but I'm invested in two hours of this!
