I use a satin pillow case, satin bonnet, and scarfs. I tie my hair in a scarf inside of my winter hats. I moisturize daily and deep condition every was day. I also pre-poo with olive oil for 30 minutes. This works for my coarse, thick, high porosity hair.

I seem to recall you saying years ago that your oldest daughter has been serving looks and posing for pictures since birth. She gets it from her father. Your thumbnail pics are always well done. I realized that a lot of my dryness and hair fall came from stress. My scalp was itching a lot to the point of irritation and burning. Therefore I’m now on an oral antibiotic and topical steroid which has decreased my issues at least 80%. A lot of BW don’t realize that inflammation is contributing to our hair issues.

I couldn't find anywhere where you address hair of older womem. I am 75, 4C hair. I wore a TWA (1/2 inch) for 53 years and in August of 2023, I decided to grow my hair. It is about 6 inches long now, but I noticed that is is very fine. I suspect that it is age related. I recently started taking collagen and MSM. I do all the dietary and water stuff. I purchased the Giovanni 2chic shampoo and conditioner/mask at your suggestion and I like it very much. Can you please do videos on hair for us older women. We are out here. I put castor oil on it, but am wondering if it is too heavy for me. At this stage I don't know if it is safe to use everything the younger folks are using. I don't trust hair stylists out here (present company excepted). My mother was a hairdresser back in the day. I relaxed my hair until I was 19 and have been natural ever since...no relaxer, no extentions, no color, just me. HELP! OLDER WOMEN PLAYLIST REQUESTED. Oh, BTW, my temples are receding. Age??? Thanks for your channel. I love it.

It's amazing so many people have hair problems in the winter. I grew up in a colder climate so mine flourishes. From October to April massive growth. My hair does not like hot weather though. I never silk pres, at all. My natural hair right now feels like silk. This my no hair work season. I'm loving it. Just style it every day.

Thank you about the tip pertaining to steaming. I plan on buying the facial/ hair steamer. I've never steamed my hair before. But I understand the concept. Because I live in a humid climate. My hair always thrives the most during the spring and summer months. My hair does well in the humidity and it does not frizz. I think the hot oil treatments is keeping this problem at bay. Can you do a video on allergies 🙏🏾 I have a coconut allergy and am just now finding out at 37 years young lol. We the people with hair on our heads need to know how to spot when something isn’t right and how to start treating it. Also can you recommend hair products that do not have coconut. Being a 4C natural I’m finding that damn near everything product has coconut in it
