Really depends on the person imo but it's not illegal in sports because it's performance enhancing, just is/was illegal in most states anyway. But I'm almost certain it's not illegal to smoke weed in the ufc now. Usada is really just checking for steroids. That being said, in high school, nearly all the best wrestlers in my state that I knew personally, smoked hella weed. And I personally feel like I have an edge in bjj after smoking.

It was illegal because of the anti inflammatory properties most likely so if you get hurt it affects you less with CBD but the thing is CBD is legal lmao

@papastew3176 no its definitely illegal because it's still a schedule 1 drug federally. The anti-inflammatory properties are actually one of the leading arguments to drop the ban on cannabis in sports.

@@levishepard3696 even though it’s federally illegal, the laws are different state to state, and USADA works under the sports commission for the state. Like for fights in Vegas only Nevada run USADA checks them. So in legal states it should be different
