@@deviantmoore9744 it is a funny joke and you legit have a word in your name of the most cringe art website to ever exist (deviantart) so no one cares about your opinion. 🤪
thanks for subtly omitting my album from your list of 0s Anthony. Tell little Jenny I say hi by the way. Haven’t seen her since uncle joey’s fishing retreat in ‘06. They sure do grow up fast. Here’s to another year of friendship & family 🥂

Green Day's Father of All etc. came out while I was on summer vacation with a few friends, and we took the time to go to the lake to listen to the new album by a band that had marked us, and it legit ruined our day. We didn't even want to bath at the lake, and that was 4 songs in
Damn that sucks 😞 I never even bothered to listen to it cause I know it sucks… If you want a better Green Day album to play by the lake, Revolution Radio would probably be good.
There will never be another album like Angelic 2 the Core. That's the type of bad that takes passion and personality to craft and it could never be created lazily or accidentally. It will sit upon the throne of S tier til this planet's final sunset gently lays its dreary head against the Earth and whispers to the memory of Corey, "It's lonely to be on top"
I think The Clash's "Cut the Crap" comes pretty close, especially on songs like Dictator, but yeah theres just something magical about Angelic 2 The Core
It's made with lot of passion but fails so gloriously in executing all of its ideas , its beautiful. It does not come out of a place of making bad music intentionally or making bad music because of being lazy . Its bad in a very unique , passionate and desperate kind of way . You love to see it.
@@harshpatial4568 absolutely. Like the act of trying harder only makes it worse, it's the type of bad that is intrinsic to the creator. The harder he tries, the more he wants it, the more passion he gives, and the worse it gets. It really is beautiful in a paradoxical sort of way. It shows that no matter how much you love it or want it you can still fail... spectacularly, I might add
@@thumpdragfilms Can't remember the name of the song, but there was a song that was so bad in every single way that I listened to it non stop for hours. It was so fascinating. (It's the song where the melon says "how is this legal?" in his review)
I HATE people that HATE other people. The comment I respond to did not spread HATE. That is good. BUT! I get a lot of HATE comments on my amazing videos and I HATE it. Please don't start spreading HATE. Do I have to HATE you too, dear jon
i’ll still never forget being at a party when the big day dropped and we plug in the aux cable and just had our hearts broken at once, it was so bad and hilarious when we all realized it was bad
@@ibrahimdelomavicsmithson164 I'd give it more but that is because I like music that makes me feel like the tasteless raccoon I am, I won't argue with a 3 tho
The Big Day still makes me angry when I think about it. I don't know if Chance legitimately just ran out of ideas or if he became complacent and figured he could release anything and it would be a hit. Either way, I couldn't even get through the entire album. It makes me happy to know that he had to cancel his tour due to a lack of sales. Fuck that album.
Tbh, people always hated Chance, long before he became trash. They figured he was corny and assumed his joyful persona was just that, a facade, and he was a prick behind closed doors. Now, it’s proven at this point, but I think that also could apply to other rappers as well… Then there’s the industry plant thing, and that’s just…stupid as well because that also pertain to other musicians…but yeah, The Big Day turned me away from him completely.
According to his ex manager who Chance ended up sacking after the reception to the album, Chance announced the album before writing or recording a single thing for it and then just ended up freestyling most of it. When I read that the album made sense to me lmao.
@@T0malC21 Chance had to have known that his first album would be one of the most anticipated releases ever and one of the most important for his career. And he still phoned it in like that? That's just arrogance
Nostalgia Critic's The Wall just vibin down at the bottom of the screen, like a silent monolith whose presence is felt everywhere he goes. The voices won't stop. The Corey Taylor cameos. The baseless criticisms. The voices won't stop.
I never even listened to it, but I completely agree just because it's so fucking pretentious. at least Tones and I doesn't think she's reinventing the wheel.
Jokes aside: Angelic is definitely a The Room of music. It's awkward and bad in every possible way, but you can tell there was passion put into it, and if you listen to it it's not like bad bad? Just...really cringe and tryhard, but not "oh god this sucks, it's going on forever" bad
TPAB is a weak album tho tbh That album is so annoying and try hard to be like a ethnic blues-rap album “Loving you is complicateeeeee” shit is so annoying
As an Australian it is harrowing to know you had to sit through Tones and I. On behalf of our entire country excluding mid 30s Elaines, Karens and Tash's it is a Comprehensive wonder how she is so successful, and she is by no means a reflection of modern Aussie based musical exploits.
It’s okay in the last 10-15 or so years you guys have King Gizz, Tame, Sia, Flume, Courtney Barnett, Empire of the Sun etc. So it definitely makes up for it😂
Kinda hard to feel bad when he puts out bad music and doesn't listen to any criticism because he has creative tunnel vision and thinks he's in the *zone* .
Putting Corey Feldman in the S category (what does "S" stand for?) means that it's the GOAT as far as 0/10 albums are concerned... aaaaand my head just exploded!
Gotta love how "Nostalgia Critic's The Wall" didn't even get a comment and was just put between the F tier and the 'Off the Scale' tier (if you will) without any notice.
@@notfelix4258 you maybe, but also you may not be the same person You may have similar lives You may have similar wives But you are different nonetheless
It's cliche but Angelic 2 The Core really is The Room of music. It's perfect in its terribleness and the singular work of a mad genius(?) creating their Shittum Opus. Both of them are actual capital A Art in a way that many "good" movies and songs could not even hope to match.
Nostalgia Critic's The Wall honestly is so revolutionary that it doesn't belong on this tier list. I'm not saying it belongs beyond S tier, I'm saying it belongs in a tier so low you'd have to create a new letter after Z to place it in. Nostalgia Critic's The Wall for ⌘︎ tier everybody.
The stories goes that with Chances the Big day, his long time manager and producer, who was even his personal friend, had told him that he didn’t have enough time to produce something great and Chances wedding and daughters was taking up all of his creative time. Which makes sense to me. He basically released it half baked without his manager, Pat Corcoran, giving it the mix and mastering he did to all of the other albums he made and threw it out there anyway. Pat Corcoran Ended up leaving over how the album turned out because Chance didn’t take his advice. Seemed like he was right.
Theory: Anthony actually thinks Angellic 2 the Core is now a 10/10, but due to how iconic it is as a bad album and as an album he rated badly, he’ll never fully admit he loves the record.
i mean, it has been somewhat recontextualized by the advent and popularity of hyperpop. its existence makes a lot more sense in a post-SOPHIE, post-Charli XCX, post-100 gecs world than it did when it came out. i'm not necessarily saying that Corey was ahead of his time, but...
New Maroon is garbage, but we have to admit old Maroon was different gravy and i don’t think he would have a lot of bad things about some of the old albums
So glad angelic 2 the core got S tier. i genuinely think it’s truly in a league of its own music wise (the room level enjoyability art wise). Seriously, your favorite artist could never make an album like that even if they tried.
You know, seeing that cover again got me doubting whether Corey intended it to be satirical. But that is what makes it so amazing. Even knowing that it was 100% some adult's genuine best effort, your brain just fights the idea that such raw, distilled incompetency could exist naturally.
In Green Days defense it was purely a B-sided slapped together album just to get off of their record label quicker. They really didn't care about any of the songs
What do you think the odds are that in 30 years time quite a few alternative and avant garde musicians and bands will say Angelic 2 the Core is one of their favourite albums and influenced them?
Seeing Angelic 2 The Core in S-tier is great. The album is such a beautiful tragedy and fundamental failure to create music on every level. It is in all honesty though, an enjoyable listen despite how awful it is. Corey Feldman genuinely loves music, and it bleeds onto the album. That does prove however, that passion alone does not make good music.
Thats something that I always respected out of this album You can tell Corey LOOOOVES music, theres so much passion behind A2TC But God is it an astonishingly poorly created and tasteless record
Doug’s love letter to Pink Floyd just sitting on the bottom of the screen with no mention was somehow the most appropriate criticism: It’s not even worth talking about.
Angelic 2 the core has really transcended the realm of bad and managed to become a classic… i don’t really know how it’s possible but congrats to mr. feldman none the less
Have you looked at this comment yet, did you love it, did you hate it, what would you rate it, you are the best you are the best, what should I review next, hit the bell as well, and I don’t know what fantnao says next, bye
Videos like this really show your creativity and passion for music. I think it's really admirable how you continue to create such a large discussion around music, whether it's good or bad. You're doing a lot for the community, and it's safe to say you've earned your spot in music history. Unsubscribed.
for me, Speeding Bullet is an honorable 0/10. I appreciate that he tried to do something different, however its still bad. But he absolutely tried and owned up to it.
i want a Beatles tier list. IMO Their Discography has many different albums that people consider to be the best, and Im curious to what Anthony considers his top pick to be and why. (to my knowledge Fantano hasnt done a ranking or tier list of the beatles.)
His favorite Beatles album is the white album and he explains why it is in his review of the White album 2018 deluxe edition. I think abbey road is his 2nd favorite beatles because thats the only other beatles album that he owns on vinyl (this is not confirmed but its a fair assumption)
