I checked out your latest video of your t/a, and it sounds mean with that cam and exhaust. Speaking of boosted trans ams - i have friend with a 99 camaro running a boosted 4.8l pushing around 650-700hp to the wheels. The car was featured in lsx mag (The little 4.8 that could). My friend purchased the car from the builder, and he has since turned the boost down, but i figured since you and your friend are going towards boost, you might want to check out the article to see why he dropped a 4.8l in. Gears make a big difference. I also had pacesetter headers and Y pipe which I learned later are trash. BUT as you can see he out drove me. On the roll race is it was a small difference of accel

Bought the SS five years ago and did 355 forged with stock crank le2 heads and cam and everything else except pullies and gears. Still running 3.23s W/50 shot of nos. Well a month ago my cousin in his stock 2012 ctsv challenged me to a race. He was running stock tires.. I was running drag radials. I smoked him 5/5 by about 6 car lengths So it all depends on your setup. I didn't even need the spray.

Tyler H you're right. I agree on the spinning of tires. I'm upgrading this year to a 8.8 and have radials. So launching will commence. thanks for your input
