Couple of charcoal briquettes in the firebox with the long grill plate, great for steaks and sausages

Fab review and vid. I've watched a few films/vids about spit roasting meat on an open fire.... the people testing the meat ... often venison or pig quite often say there is something different and very very good about this method... I'll add you to the list ;) Thanks for going to the effort to record this. Luv from Mumbles.

The Firebox stove is very nice. I recently bought the same kit. Very versatile. That roasting spit looks awesome and I could almost taste the fire roasted chicken ......Take care, Bluefin.

I've been looking at fireboxes I'm glad they're back in stock over here and I've got the koffey spit which is like a mini tjm spit and it's great fore caveman cooking steaks so you don't have to get your hand in the coals

That’s a while ago we did see you on the channel 😜, firebox it’s great gear mate, have the Ti myself and never looked back for my bushcraft essentials, much easier to keep this thing going with larger stock of wood, looking forward to see the review of that custom woodsman, nice shoes you’re wearing also👌🏻🤩

I have burnt charcoal briquettes in my fire box with no ill effects. That chicken looked bloody gorgeous.

Lovely film Scott and great to see you back at it 👍 I can’t claim a long track record with fire boxes…my mates have the Firebox while I have the Essentials….they’re all pretty damn good in my view, but with the Essentials, I do like the large hole in the side through which larger diameter wood can be fed without disturbing what’s cooking on top. See ya soon 🍻
