Hello their friend. My name is Alex. I see you guys are back at it again...lol 😊😊😊 I am so jealous , I want to go out there so bad. It's a 3 hr drive for me and I don't have anyone to go with me. Maybe I'll muster the courage and drive up there alone. Hope to see you guys ... Happy Fishing....
Hello friend, I know it’s boring to drive alone for 3 hours. We drove 2 and half to 3 hrs too and we are from Oakland. Hope to see you too. Good luck on your fishing trip.
Nice haul, that is a nice stringer of fat cats! We call that scaly fish a green carp on my lake, I keep them just to make the bass guys angry because most do the same thing where I am at, we have more problems with them than any other fishermen. Those damn jet skis do the same thing, we fish near the dame sometimes and the skiers, instead of being in the middle of the lake come near us by the dam, especially the ski boats. Don't worry, when the season is warm the aholes come out in droves. They can care less about fishing, they want you to see them. Those bass boats are high maintenance, a lot of people go in debt keeping up and that frustration carries out on the lake when you are in their way, remember, you are always in their way. I kept many near lake record green carp on my lake in double digits, we cook them and feed it to my neighbors cats and dogs, if I posted that video, I would probably get my tires slashed or windows broken when I return to the ramp. They realize year after year they catch less bass in spot then most dont come anymore, if they only knew. LOL!!
@@sakhomfishingadventures2584I respect y’all keeping catfish to eat , but nice sized bass like that should honestly be released. Taking nice sized bass out of a lake like that is taking bass with good genetics and good quality n out of the lake. This means less quality and trophy bass for the lake w I personally keep bass but the only time I keep them is when they are small, skinny, or in healthy. If they are small and skinny or stunted they need to be culled out of the lake because usually those bass will only produce offspring with bad genetics and produce more stunted bass that will compete with the bigger bass for forage (food) If a bass is injured after I catch it and can’t swim or live properly after catching it I will usually keep it to not waste the fish. A bass in the 10-14 inch size range is generally one of the best sizes to keep because they are good full size to benefit the lakes bass population of bass and the smaller ones usually taste better than bigger older ones because the younger ones usually won’t have any worms or parasites as the big ones are older and their meat will not taste as good. Catfish are also good tasting fish but usually the 20 plus pound fish aren’t as good to eat as the smaller cats because the bigger cats will have more worms and the meat will be older and less tender and tastes.
@@sakhomfishingadventures2584oh ok, there is a trick to get gut hooked bass unhooked, you can look it up if you want o learn it. Bass can dissolve some hooks on their own, but it would probably be best to keep that one
Aww..better luck next time. We caught 2 from there the other day,but couldn’t stay there anymore cause of the boat and jet ski and the fish was starting to hit 🙁
