Bill's take on the Camp award is 100% right. It means nothing, especially when you have athletes swapping camps weeks before the Games

Team would indicate that you all enrolled together, train together and are located in the same place, travel together etc. And you’re giving this label of a “team” when there is no league. Teams compete against over teams head to head, even if the events are individual. At the games, just because there are 3 camps means nothing. They’re not in a league going head to head and only athletes on a team can compete. You’re just f***ing over athletes that train and compete independently. Whereas those are the more impressive athletes as they don’t have all the support and backing.

Does anyone know how many athletes have served in the military btw? Roman, a few Americans and I suspect Henrik Haapalainen has done the Finnish service. Any women? Not that I think it has any influence on the games.

CrossFit mainsite programming should be the purest form of the CrossFit methodology. The guiding light! Maybe it can’t quite fit in a class, but it represents the purest form of CrossFit. Farming out programming to others is lazy at best and an example of a rudderless ship at worst. Even worse if the programmer is more invested in their own promotion than the CrossFit methodology and community.
