I love this idea, wines that we have probably all tasted or at least heard of at one point! More of these please, it helps me learn a lot more about wine🍷😬
Thank you for another entertaining and informative video Jay! Just some other ideas for blind tasting flight: 1. Grand Cru Classe vs. 2nd Wine 2. New World vs Old World with same price point and variety 3. High end resturants house wine
This is great! The b.s.ing around, making up goofy songs, laughing, and sitting around drinking and talking about wine. And the pleasant outdoor summery backdrop adds to the appeal. Great fun.
Oh no!!! I actually purchased that meiomi along with a bunch of other Pinot noirs to try learning more about Pinot! It’s a sad day! In other news I really appreciate the English subtitles I know doing subtitles takes extra time and effort.
Medalla Real is one of the most common labels for restaurants in Chile. It's only about $8 dollars here or $12-15 in a restaurant. I don't usually complain for that price.
Look, I know I drink and enjoy many wines they probably think are crap but it was really satisfying to listen to them rip Meiomi a new one. I've always hated it and thought it was overrated.
Awesome video again. Slightly disappointed that our South African Wineking Peter didnt say "minerally" during this episode. Or as he pronounce it with his awesome accent "Moonrally". I always think of a rally on the moon ;)
On the Meiomi, i agree and couldn't finish it. Left in decanter overnight and in the late afternoon the next day, it was a completely different (much better) wine.
I really love this channel and I am wondering if you guys can review some of the natural or biodynamic wines? I am really curious about your opinion on those!
I bought the Louis Jadot Bourgogne Pinot Noir today (2018 though, not 2017). Going to drink it tomorrow with my wife, let's see. I once had the Beaujolais Villages from Louis Jadot and liked it very much.
Thanks for putting up this content - find it very informative and educational. When you say that's 'there is good Pinot and cheap Pinot, no good, cheap Pinot' - how do you define cheap? What's your favourite American Pinot on the cheaper side and on the more expensive side? Thx
Great episode guys I love the banter. I bought a few Meiomi Pinots as they were on sale at my local shop. You totally ruined it for me. Taste like a vanilla milkshake. These will definitely be given to my non wine friends as gifts.
i would love to see you guys review some Alexander Valley Vineyards wines! the cab, merlot and red blend are all under $20 where I'm at (memphis tennessee) and they (i think) are fantastic for the price.
