So, after the test assembly and buying of all paints and materials, we begin to build the Lancia Delta S4. As usual, the first thing I do is work with the body, because if it fails, then there is no reasons to go further. In this model, the body is given in three parts - the front cowl, the cab and the back cowl for the engine. Each of the parts was pre-sanded, photo-etching was fitted on, and the places for gluing the meshes were machined deeper. Then primer and LP2 white gloss paint were applied, decals were applied over it and then everything was covered with three coats of zero paints brilliant 2k. After 2 days of drying, I smoothed orange peel with 600 sandpaper and applied another layer of varnish in order to remove the steps from the decals. After a day of drying, everything was finally polished.
