My mom does locs and she starts them natural. She doesn’t like uniformed locs unless the clients ask. She also re-twist in the same direction. Your locs are beautiful ❤️
Girl your locs😍 I'm 6 months in with my diy microlocs. I swear I wish I would've loc'd my hair years ago but I am loving my journey so far. I honestly don't think I'll ever go back to being a loose natural.
Qhemet Biologics (Sephora)it’s called the “ Aethoiopika hydrating & twisting butter ...and oh my great God !!!!! It makes my locs feel healthy n no buildup just loveliness !!!!n no allergic reaction for me unlike other mainstream products at target or hair store
Baby Sis you are telling the absolute TRUTH!! I am 1 year locked. I cut off 16 inches of natural hair to start my locs. I don't say this to be a braggart, because it is of no consequence to me...I have ALWAYS received attention from men for my looks, and my personality. I will say that even at 44 (Happily married 20 years in May) my attraction has amplified since getting locs. I don't know if it is because I feel so beautiful and feminine with them and men can pick up on that, but men DEFINITELY love locs. Whatever hairstyle a woman chooses to wear, if she rocks it with confidence, she will attract what she puts out.
I have had locs for 10 years and started them myself, I have never seen anyone on the hundredzzz of hours of videos I have watched, clipping their first row to the towel like me!! Come on how ingenious is that! Its that Jamaican creativity...I know!! Hehe 🤪 Jamaicans in the building 🇯🇲
Thanks. I enjoyed your encouragements. I especially like the fact that you did your own Locs and are confident that that’s what you want and you OWN your own Locs! I did my own Micro Locs and I’m almost 7 months in and maintaining myself! So far my Locs are awesome and I never felt like I had to go to a salon! It encourages me to know that someone else feels the same way! Thanks so much! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 🦄 I also subscribed!
🦄 First off your locs are beautiful!! But what I love most is how you explained everyone's individual journeys. I completely agree and ready to get mine started. Thank you.
I came in as the common viewer that leaves a like n goes away, but then I found out how educationnal u are and Boom... I think that little mix of confidence and awareness u have, are keys to happiness and success, and I thank you for sharing those... Ah ! I nearly forgot the🦄
I am in month two of my locs and I am loving the growth short stage. It’s fun any I feel free and confident with my new look. It really suits me and my personality
Yaa Ayy Yay Yay Yay been waiting on this to go do my retwist... Thank you sis❤❤ lots of love from your Jamaican spirit sister❤❤ Thank you for constantly putting yourself out here enlightening us and helping us to be our better selves❤❤
Not only are these blond locs giving me life but they suit her so well! Side note I’m a big fan of grills and she’s got great teeth she’d look so fuckn good wit a bottom 2-6 set gold grill!🥵😍
Thank you for all of your great information. I’m starting my loc journey at…61 trips around the sun!!! Please keep the info coming because I have so much to learn!
Shea moisture styling gel is what I use when I retwist with gel. It's not that same marshmallowy consistency but it has great hold and leaves no build up 💯
I use aloe Vera gel. I cut my aloe plant and blend the insides and mix with oil. Someone told me they mashed hibiscus 🌺 flower until it becomes sticky and retwist with that
I use Tahliah Waajid Tight hold.. she also has one thats called lock it up... but I like tight hold... it’s like an aloe type gel.. and it’s really good.. little goes a long way.
🦄 so fun to see where your at. I started my locs with your help and I'm at the 1 yr mark! I use tropical roots twist cream for my locs and I love that stuff 💙
I literally stopped rolling my blunt, and slowly looked at the screen when she said “ what else are you doing with your thumbs? “ eeehm woaaah fineee I’ll smoke it later 🙇🏽♀️
Thank u for this info! Starting my 2 strand twists the 1st week of Sept (rocking kinky twists currently) and your Channel has been the most helpful, insightful, informative channel since I decided I'm going to officially start my locs. Thank you! 🦄💗
jealous of how little time it took you to retwist your hair, it was still light outside when you were done. 😭 i'll be 5 months this month and i kind of dread retwisting, all the loose hair and making sure a hair from a different section isn't in the wrong place takes forever. it's ridiculous, ican'tt wait to be fully loc'd.
🦄🦄🦄youre channel has inspired me so much! I’m getting loc’d in may and I’ve started my spiritual journey. I honestly needed that lil push and you gave it to me🥰😄🙏🏾
New sub... about to begin my pic journey and I've been binge watching your videos since the first one I saw in my search results. Glad I stumbled upon you!
🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄 I love your video girl!! I’m tryna start the loc process very soon and i stumbled across your videos. It’s teaching me so much things. Thanks so much 💕
Hey I been subscribed since I started my locs...well actually a little b4 because I wanted to research a bit to see what I was getting myself in to lol. I love it and can't wait for the length. My 1 year locaversary is on Monday April 5th I'll be retwisting on Sunday. I've been wearing a head wrap since the fall (September October 2020) so I may or may not wear it wrapped on Monday. I use aloe vera gel for my retwists and started using lion locs locking moisturizer a few months ago. I like both products but neither of them have the best hold. But I haven't seen any build up so I guess thats the tell tale sign both are good products. Im actually going to give the lions locs product a bit more time cause you can't really see build up for a few months and its only been about 4 or so months. I really wanted to do a oil and water retwist this time around but I have noticed some flat locs so I may use the lion locs product and palm roll all the way down the loc. Let's see if i can get it to become cylindrical again but if not whatevs. I never palm rolled though so lets see how i feel during the actual retwisting process. Stay blessed and good night.
New Subbie 💜💜 You give me so much joy about my Loc journey ! Also I used “ORS Lock & Twist Gel” to start my two strand twists but I really don’t like the hold on it not very tight and (I have a mixture of 4b/4c texture) so I decided to use “Loc N Twist (Wave Edge Gel)” from here on out and it’s hold IS EVERYTHING! Thank you for sharing your journey Queen ! ❤️💜😌
🦄🦄🦄 thanks for the great tips!! 11 month locked and barely retwist lol. I plan to do better with my haircare routine. I like to put my hair in a ponytail after a retwist too. 💅👑🙌🥰
I use Jam for my retwist in the orange and black container (it contains honey) but ive never had any problems with it . No buildup and it has a nice hold i wish i could insert a picture 😩
🦄 i love your locs i just started in my locs, but I don’t like they are parted, so I’ll probably get someone to retwist them this week, so that they have a uniform look to them.
I found it online !!! And it’s in stock 😁. Thank you. I have 4c hair and I can’t find anything to retaliation my locs. I ordered 3 of the 4oz ones I’m gonna try it out .
