You and your locs are beautiful 🦄. I still can’t believe it’s been 2 years. You were definitely one of my inspiration for starting my loc journey. I’m currently 15 months loc’d.
Definitely my favorite youtuber when it comes to locs and spirituality. I'm 14 months locd and I love my locs even though they are not at the length I want them to be I know eventually they will get there. My mom passed away around the same time your mom passed that made me grow to love your channel even more. Stay beautiful and keep up with the great content. Happy 2 year loc-versary and congrats on the engagement. 🦄
Hi I just started my locs a month ago on 3c hair and am now getting what I think is bunching. Does the bunching give your locs a "butterfly loc" appearance like hers or is it just different for everyone?
@@yanghyunsukgoingtohellinah7724 yes, that's the, "butterfly loc" look. Most locticians will try to correct it because it takes away from the uniform shape and size, but I love it so I'm allowing my ends to bunch. I've been washing every 2 weeks, just did my first deep conditioning at 4 months! My ends look just like hers and I have 4c hair , my hair is mostly locd except for the ones in the front (where most of the bunching "butterfly" locs are! 😍
You were the icing on the cake for me starting my loc journey! I’m a little over 2 months in and already have budding in most of my babies about 2 inches from my scalp. I know what it like to see your mother’s quality of life demising right before your eyes. My mom was on dialysis before she passed and I miss her terribly and it’s been almost 11 years. So I want to say thank you to both our moms for their love and inspiration that shines through us still. ☮️ &💜
I’m only 2 months in and can definitely agree that my locs have boosted my confidence. Everyone has always told me I had pretty hair before the locs and my confidence was pretty high but it’s even higher with my locs. I lost my mom and also my dad so just want to say I sympathize with you and the loss of your mother. 🙏🏽🦄
I just broke a fast with a smoothie bowl and this is what I needed while enjoying my bowl. Your locs are beautiful, glad to have seen your whole journey ❤️
I love your way of thinking, speaking, being... You are the love potion.. Thanks to your mom.. and most of all thanks to you for taking on such a beautiful way of being. Thank you for sharing your lock journey. 🦄
Congratulations on your 2 years! I just started my journey and I am 2.5 weeks in and I’m already in love with my hair and cannot wait for the changes. Your videos inspired me to take the leap and I’m forever a subscriber. 🦄🦄
I've been locd for 18 months and started with bra strap length hair. My hair shrunk to the heavens and I'm just getting length back.. my ends are very similar to yours and chunkier in areas. Loving the journey, it's like watching your garden grow ❤🦄
I like my lil bunching at the ends of my locs too. I’m 2yrs & 4 months loc’d and I’m totally in love with them. Feeling them touching my shoulders give me life. Continue to enjoy your loc journey ✨✨🦄 SIDEBAR: Sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom…may GOD continue to give you comfort, peace & strength 🙏🏾
You 100% inspired me, I remember thinking I wanted to Loc my hair but was leary cause I have alopecia, came across and binged watched all your videos and got the confidence I needed! A year in and it was the best decision ever!🦄🦄🦄🦄
I love your energy, Locs and I truly appreciate your helpful tips and recipe's. I prayed for patience and soon after I started my Loc journey and to say I've gained patience is an understatement. My Mother passed away in 2016 and I cut all my hair off right after and started my locs 2 years later. My hair journey has really has really brought me closer to her in a way I never expected it to. Ppl always say it's just hair, but it's really so much more than that🦄
Thanks for answering my question!! 🦄 just hit my 7 months so shout out to you and your beautiful mom. I know my sister you passed probably would have had locs before me. I love how my locs has helped me grow in these short 7 months.
I just started Oct 19 2021 , I am so scared and my hair is so thin and curly at the ends, but your videos give me hope! Girl I’m so thankful for the time you put into explain everything about your amazing hair and spirit🦄🦄
when i started my hair was thin when it loc’ed my hair changed texture of course and sense my hair is not shedding anymore it’s thick and strong…. you gonna love it just be patient
First Thank you mom!..... Definitely going to give her thanks because you have been a part of my loc journey almost the whole time. Nov 5 is one year for me. I'm loving your makeup.
They look sooo beautiful!!! I went through a lot of transformative things around the time I started my locs too and I would have never guessed they would've had this many positive effects on my spirit. Thank you to you and your mom for helping me start my journey. She did one hell of job with you ❤️
Congratulations on 2years!! I’m going to be six weeks this Sunday and I can’t believe how fast the time is flying. I’m really enjoying the journey and I’m excited to see where it takes me. I really like edge booster for my edges, a little goes a long way and when I set it with my scarf the hold is amazing!!
Cream of Nature Extra firm edge control. You were my inspiration for starting my Loc’s. This has definitely been a self love journey. My heart goes out to you for the loss of your mother, but she has created a beautiful human and you are a wonderful representative for our culture ❤️✊🏾🙌🏾
Your locs remind me of mine. The lower locs are more uniformed, and towards the middle and top of my hair there is a lot of bunching towards the end. I considered cutting them, but after seeing how beautiful they are on I now choose to embrace it. Thanks!!
@@kyresscoke4356 Congrats! I passed my year mark 11/13. Looking forward to length in my 2nd year because they shrunk so much when they first loced. They are finally approaching the end of the awkward stage.
My Locs journey was a challenge in my 3months and 6months were but I did my 1 year journey. I'm very happy I stayed with my locs journey. Thanks so much 🙏 for you my sista 😘
We started around the same time! I was so happy to see this video! I must say, I love my locs, and definitely the way I maintenance them as well. I almost went to a professional to have them done recently because of the same bunching comment, Mostly because people would say my method (interlocking) would make them thin...🤦🏽♀️🙄 People sure do love a little ✨razzle dazzle✨ to try to make their points known. InTeeewayyyz, Your crown 👑 is looking Fabolous my dear! 🦄
🦄 I love your videos ! You are such an inspiration! I have been going back and forth with myself on starting locs and listening to your videos gives me clarity. Everyone has their own loc journey and we must embrace it. I look forward to starting mine.
FAMU grad (from a long time ago, lol). Nice shout out! Started my loc journey a couple years ago and loving it. Stumbled upon your channel just now. Your locs look great. Keep it going.
I am 1 month and 5 days in on my journey. Started with 2 strand twists. You have been my inspiration!! 🦄🦄 I'm excited, and I'm actually hoping my locs have the "bunching" as well. It reminds me of the distressed butterfly locs. Thank you for sharing 💗
Congratulations on your 2 year loc journey! You along with my friends have inspired me to loc my hair. Today is actually my 1 month anniversary! Keep being your beautiful self! 🦄
🦄 your energy is glorious! You really inspired me to take the leap on my second loc journey and I have to say it is certainly a different experience this time around. 🥰
You are such a beautiful person inside and out girl! I am 1 year and 2 months in my journey and I fall in love with my hair everyday! I use Cantu edge controller, it’s not bad it doesn’t flake and it holds pretty well. Thank you for the great content! My condolences about your moms passing, losing a parent is hard. My father passed in 2016 and I miss him every single day. Much love girl! ❤️❤️
Congratulations. I just celebrated 3 years. I miss already the short phase with budding. But STILL Loves it. Condoleances for your mother. You got a special angel with you on your journey to locs and life. Keep growing and help enlightened people (sorry don't have an unicorn emoji, old tablet lol)
🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄 One of my favorite people to watch!!!!! You inspired me to loc my hair, currently 3 months loc'd, thanks for all the tips and advise. Last night I made some rosewater mixed with lavender oil and vitamin E. It smells so good and moisturizes my hair and face too.....
Only just found your channel, your locs look great (I found your starter vid first!). I use the same tonic on my caucasian locs; I suffer from psoriasis and I use distilled water, rose water, aloe vera juice then add 20 drops each of fractionated coconut oil, tea tree oil, rosemary oil, cedar wood oil and peppermint oil. If they are mega dry, I'll add Palmers Coconut oil spray for stronger roots to the mix too. Loc jewellery (I have SO much!!) one thing I use on the real skinnies is body jewellery. You can get guage tunnels really small!
That's crazy cause I actually sent my son to FAMU he graduated 2019 And I love love your locs I'm 9 mths in, I barely made a ponytail. Can't wait to get to your length
Congratulations on 2 years!! Please do the edge control video!! Review the CURLS blueberry bliss. I'm on my 3rd month on my loc journey and I've been avoiding laying my edges like I used to as a loose natural because I'm afraid of the build-up. Definitely would like to learn about some good options with no buildup and effective slay !
I'm finally LOC'D y'all as of Nov 3rd.! 🙌 Thanks for your cooling energy. I've been taking notes from you and a few others for months now and I'm following things accordingly. However, can you PLEASE share where did you purchase your nail polish and is it a gel? Thanks for helping me on my journey 🌻
🦄 Thank you for this video! Ur locs are Beautiful and so r u of course 😉. U are very much an inspiration, I’m now getting to my 8th month with my locs and I looooooove the journey. I did watch many videos before but it urs that actually made start them and I started the same way that u did so thank u to u and ur mum. I was a honey blond Afro/Curly kinda girl so now I’m a Honey Blond locs kinda girl and I really love it! I’ve noticed that I let my do their thing as long as I feed them the rest it’s them. Anyway u’re gonna have lots to read so I’m gonna stop 😉 Thanks u xxx
Thanks for sharing, I’m 10 mos into my journey and you just taught me about loc bunching (which I think I have) and that it’s okay to rinse your locs between washes. I saturate with rose water, but haven’t done a full rinse routine. Thanks agin! 🦄
Congratulations on 2 years!! I love following your journey. I start my loc journey tomorrow, super excited. Can you review Ebin 24 hour edge tamer please & thank you!
My locks are very similar to yours in size and now in color. Thanks for sharing moisturizing tips. I’ve experienced some thinning so I definitely need help.
Peace and Blessing! You have such a beautiful spirit, you are beautiful inside and out. I too love honey blonde and have been for many years. I use a hooded hair steamer 3 o for times a month and spritz my locs nearly daily followed by my oil concoction. Your loc jewelry is pretty. Maybe you can try Style Factor Edge Booster pineapple scent, it's water based. I love it and have been using it for approx 2 years. I too miss my mother. I do have wonderful memories, pictures and videos. Thank you for sharing your journey. Peace.
Congratulations!!! I enjoy your videos one reason is because our time of locking is similar. Textures very similar as well. The “bunching” is beautiful mines is starting to loc like the rest of my hair now. 9-1-2019 for me 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄
I'm on a PC so idk how to add a unicorn emoji lol, but I support, subscribe and like!! You're actually the reason I trusted myself to bleach my locs (well some locs)
Thank you for the update! You andI have the same curl pattern “hair type” so I was so happy I found you 😍 your hair is so beautiful. I have the fine strains of hair but I have so much hair it’s super full 😫♥️ I kinda expected my hair to bunch just because it does that in my nature Afro state 😏 anyhow May I ask how many locs you have? Love the videos and sending you love and blessings 🙏🏾
🦄 I'm 7months in . just started my daughter's she is 11. I'm hoping it brings us closer together and help her gain confidence in her natural beauty.congrats on all the joy in your life.
