Just something that I'd like to point out is that in a few languages, the name of the Archon Quest is: "The Immovable God, and the Eternal Utopia", despite Euthymia being part of their vocabularies. This could be a translation issue, not sure.
Can we just talk about how weird trees are in genshin for a minute? So in pretty much every culture there is some sort of tree of life and there as a tree like that in every country in genshin so far. The massive tree in mondstat, Azadah's dragon tail tree in liuye, the frost bearer tree in dragon spine (which seems to be alive like the Sakura tree in inazuma), the mystical tree's in the abyss/domains and then finally the living Sakura tree with giant roots in inazuma. All of the trees seem to be magical or alive in some way, except for the tree in mondstat I'm pretty sure. Not to mention that the symbol of the abyss is a tree. (Sorry for the spelling its 4am and I dont know how any of this is spelt anyways.)
There is also the tree in the see if quanta, the Imaginary tree. Now I haven’t played Honkai and have only seen pictures, but the Imaginary tree and the trees in domains looks similar. Not only that, the Imaginary trees location is also vaguely reminiscent of domains(in my opinion). Makes me believe the theory that the abyss/domains/ and the sea of quanta are all related.
Kinda late reply but the Windrise tree (which i assume is the tree you're referring to for mondstadt) is used by Venti for healing and considering ameno crystalflies can be found around it, I'd say that it's magical I bring up crystalflies because iirc they tend to gather around places with elemental energy in excess amounts, and in windrise they specifically gather around the _tree_ and not the Statue of the seven, in fact they're kinda far away from the statue, so I safely say that they're gathering around the tree but i dunno
It's crazy how much research Mihoyo puts in this, as it's obviously all well constructed and interconnected. I mean lore,. And it's crazy how deep people like yourself, and a few other Genshin theorycrafters can dig to, well, craft theories such as this one. Inazuma's story is bound to be rich in every way. Great vid btw, and congrats on now 6k subs, Guess I'll check your other stuff too, as it's pretty f'ing nice.
Ok but hear me out, there's two versions of the "mora icon", the one that Paimon and mora and cube hypostasis have. There's a version with 4 "rings" and a version with 3 "rings". What if there were originally 4 moon goddesses, one was the lady that appears in the blessing of the welkin moon art, the other one is Paimon, and the Third one is the one is the actual moon we see in game. And the fourth one is the one Baal is trying to revive/uncorrupt? And the "4 rings" moon icon was before this 4th moon god got corrupted? I just thought since Paimon's name is a demonic old name irl, together with the Archons names we know, that would make her a god in theory, so why wouldn't she be one of the Moon godesses? She kind of ressembles the lady of the welkin moon and the statue in Inazuma city like you mentioned...
In one of islandxd's theory videos he talked about how the three pronged symbol was a symbol in some culture symbolising cyclical life and the four pronged one meaning seasons within the cyclical life. I'd recommend watching the 2nd ep of his genshin impact theory (The cause of cataclysm) to see his pieces of evidence and theories on the cyclical cycle of genshin.
the question i ask to myself always is why i Chinese game that is so popular have this strong mythology that clash against the government doctrine and rules about religions and beliefs? they're too risky
A quick thought after the video: if Baal is trying to create a world in which her own version of eternal peace has been reached, and thats the conflict of Inazuma, Maguu Kenki was the perfect introduction. Puppets and statues retain their properties without free will, growth, degradation or change. Just feels fitting.
Back for the rewatch. Today I'm researching the Khanriahns language. I translated the scrolling Latin in the non-elemental domains. It's mirror reflected which made holding my phone up to a mirror useful. The translation were 2 words. PRONOEA = Providence and FORTUNA = Luck. Which is interesting since providence refers to the blessings of the Gods and luck implies random chance. I also came across another Genshin theorist who was wondering why the Abyss Lectern sounds like an Evangelist when Khanriah was a Godless nation from what we were told.
Upon further research with other theorists it has been speculated that the Travelers sibling who awoke before us could be the God of Time. The main connection being the ruins near Mondstadt. That as our sibling traveled Teyvat immortal as they are with incredible power teaching those of khaenriah with knowledge like alchemy instead of empty beliefs. Thusly empowering everyone not just a chosen handful with visions. This of course lead to the famed alchemist Gold and the death of the Dendro Archon spurring Celestia to act. However unable to entirely defeat Aether and Lumine because of their own outworld divine nature they were instead shackled to the world of Teyvat. So maybe not 100% but an interesting take on the beginning of our journey in Genshin impact.
@@Ashikai they did not however that IS an interesting observation! I interrupted my Khaenriah domain translations long enough to find a couple RU-vid videos that contained their voice lines for further analysis if your interested. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3hXZccmYMUQ.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4yZMJfTMuW0.html On the topic of domain translations the 4 elemental domains have the exact same inscriptions however other then the letters matching exactly I have yet to work out the translations. There are 10 Pillars altogether with 4 Khaenriah symbols each including commas and periods but not sure if they are meant to translate into Latin words or not. The 10 Pillars read as such starting clockwise from entry: DVKC JNF. POKC QTEB AUKC .WKC RZLC MSKC RZLC G,K. Not sure if it's also in code or not but if anyone can crack it I would be interested.
My headcanon is Paimon's a newly manifested god, since gods of Genshin have a beginning and a death. It would explain why she wants food, and wealth to acquire said food. I dont think she has expressed craving for any other object but food.
Now that patch 2.0 has been live I've got this to say: Baal showed us how the Archons truly fight. All this time I've been thinking Venti and Morax were pretty weak, given control of only one element but then Baal pulled that adeptus domain b.s. and I was like, oh snap, that's why they feared the Khanrieans! Ok here me out, I was pretty mind blown when I realized this. Madam Ping gifts us our own domain in the teapot and we've been to a few adeptal domains as well as domains clearly made by those from khanreah. So it's safe to say both sides understand Adeptus Magick. However Baal was the first one to show us how the Archons weaponized it. (Very similar to a Reality Marble in the anime Fate series) All this time I've been wondering how Morax rained stone spears large enough to make an island chain or how Venti sent Starsnatch Hill out into the ocean to make the Archipelago or how before that he leveled the mountain to a small island. Now here in Inazuma we have a giant dead serpent God cut in half as an island chain, unlike Osial currently pinned under the sea near Liyue. And clearly it's not a myth when the bones and cursed energy of the slain God still persist. Baal showed us her using adeptal Magick when she pulled us into her own inner world. It reminds me of the saying "Those who dream of Dreaming" phrase. If a vision is someone's memory and ambition manifested in the world of Tehvat then is a God's Gnosis the power to manifest their own dream into reality? Here we are playing in our teapot adeptal domains and the Archons are like, "Thats cute" wanna see my new special attack? Almost forgot, it the Khanriahns were building their own domains showing they understood Adeptus Magick then clearly they were on the cusp of weaponizing it themselves. I would love to hear comments on this, peace.
The only mention of that serpent that I have seen in 2.0 is from the NPC from the quest tales of tatara. He literally calls the creature the immortal serpent and feared the possibility that if the forge ended up exploding the serpent would rise up.
@@slav1453 just to signify the difference between stage magic used for entertainment and ritualistic magick practiced by those who have studied the arcane.
This is out of topic but IMO I find it hard to believe that its been the Vision Hunt Decree's 100th vision a year after establishment. Visions feel so rare, basically most people you meet with one pre-Inazuma eventualy became playable. They dont even confiscate every vision they see, only of ones deemed unworthy.
something you forgot to mention about the Yggdrasil is that it unifies 9 worlds: Asgard, Alfheim, Muspelheim, Jotunheimr, Nioavellir, Niflheim, Vanaheim, Misgard and Hel. If you include Asgard and Khaenriah and assign them the worlds of Asgard and Hel, there would be 9 regions in the world of Teyvat. In fact, these worlds have been explicitly mentioned ingame in the Legend of the Shattered Halberd series (which also includes real canon events like the fall of the iron meteorite). The books were published by the Yae publishing house and barely sold at the time of their release which I think is really sus. It has a lot of stuff relating to the lore and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! it even confirms the existence of buddhism in genshin ;) amazing theory as always!!
I completely forgot about the 3 moon sisters till this video. When I was playing Yoimia's quest I noticed there were a few folding screens within the prison showing three female beings with one large eye in the middle of their heads. Something kept knawing at me as there being three of them was reminding of SOMETHING, but I just couldn't remember what. You can see one of these folding screens most prominently right before you talk to Yoimia's master right after you walk down the stairs, but I believe it shows up again in one of those domains you play once for the primos and sigils.
Baal wants to break the false sky!😱 That will be her last resort in her situation and that's why yae sees her as flawed since her wants to preserve her rule and peace when it's not up to her to carry that weight
Oh My God, I just got some epiphany after watching your theory about the three moon sisters which are a parallel to the Norn in Norse mythology governing Law, Time, and Fate. The Welkin Moon is probably one of the three moon sisters who govern the power over fate. If you purchase the blessing of the welkin moon then she will give us 90 primogems daily for 30 days which when enough can be used to buy either intertwined 'fates' and acquaint 'fate'. There is also a God of Time mentioned in Mondstadt's World Quest and can possibly be Paimon. As for Law, it could be about the Unknown God who is also known as the Sustainer of Heavenly Principle.
2:48This theory seems very plausible, since even in her introduction on Twitter it is stated that Baal wishes to overcome the cycle of life and death (reincarnations) and there are also mentions of enlightenment or breakthrough in context with Baal.
Coming back to this video, its very disappointing to see the lore potential of the statue completely wasted. It was only mentioned twice and its true purpose was never talked about, the quest felt extremely rushed I honestly would rather have waited until the end of Inazuma for a quest that truly satisfies the plot.
There might be a lore, Related to it in future. Remember! Just because the quest is over in an area(for now) doesn't mean there won't be any other quest related to the area in future.
Important detail that you missed: The Staff of Homa is the signature weapon of Hu Tao, who acts as a guide to the afterlife. I'm guessing that people have this all wrong. I noticed during one of the analyses that Baal seemed like she was forcing herself to do what she's doing, almost like she doesn't actually want to but is hardening her heart because she believes that what she's doing is right in the long run. She also claims eternity to be the closest to heaven. Not Celestia, but heaven. What if she wants to turn Inazuma into a land of unchanging, eternal immortality, and she believes that the only way to do so is to make it like heaven, as in a land of the dead? Not literally dead, but like the dead. No ambition, no choices, just an eternal, peaceful forever.
And one of the names of Kannon is Nyoirin Kannon, aka Chintamanichakra, who holds the "wish-fulfilling jewel". Sounds a lot like the Genesis Pearl, isn't it? And there's also a story about Kannon receiving a priceless pearl from the daughter of the Dragon King, because she visited their palace at the bottom of the ocean to teach the inhabitants things. Well, guess what, who lived at the bottom of the ocean? No, not Sponge Bob Square Pants, the people who later become the inhabitants of the Watatsumi island, because the Great Serpent Orobashi let them climb their body to the surface of the ocean. And do you know how their underwater realm is once called in the lore? The abyssal nation of ever-night. (The description of the Coral Branch of a Distant Sea) Doesn't it sound a lot like the "Kingdom of Darkness"?
Now, this was a ride, and in a great way. So many things clicked in my head while watching your video and your whole theory makes so much sense! So many details in this game have connections, even seemingly trivial ones.
i have a take on baal's ring of 8 eyes: the 7 smaller eyes represent the archons of each reigon of teyvat the bigger eye is celestia or the sustainer of heavenly principles
hi ! regarding the serpent around the world tree : the corals that can be farmed for the new sword in inazuma reveal that there was a snake that came from deep within the sea, more exactly from the "abyssal depths". when going closer to the surface it met humans (sort of ? it's hinted that they might be a different race, like sucrose, diona, gorou or klee are different types of humanoid beings). the humans (?) started worshiping the snake and gave it different names, one of which is Watatsumi. The only clear reason that explains that worship (outside of the fact that it was massive and they might have been scared of it like the culture that worshipped the thunderbird was) was that it brought light to the abyss because its body was covered in glowing coral. it then moved up to the surface (don't know why maybe it's in one of the many books) and got sliced in half by one of the previous shogun. what's interesting is that in the description of every type of coral, the word "abyss" appears in different form, always without the capital A and seemingly to reference the deep sea. but the emphasis is very suspicious. also, speaking of the bird in the tree : there is the story of the giant bird that controlled thunder and lightning, was worshiped by a civilization, lost its mind when a young boy was saccrificed and destroyed the land for a very long time. it was beheaded by the thundersoother. it was said in a stream that something has been sealed in one of the islands of inazuma and it also happens that an island is covered in a perpetual lightning storm and ressembles the shape of a broken volcano, which happens to be where the bird was apparently killed. also, fun fact, that bird prpbably had a human form (like morax) since the thundersoother took its crown after killing it and claimed it for its own (if it was any other game i would't think twice but it's genshin and the lore of the artefacts is very linked to the lore of the game) honestly before watching your video i just thought those were cool big animals with powers that we would either fight or see in cool cinematics. i just read the descriptions of the stuff cause it's fun and people spent a lot of time working on this. but now it seems very connected to your theory...
13:43 this whole passage with the mention of the Sword of Wisdom and gods trappings mortals in endless samsara cycles reminds me of the Descenders lore we get from the Narssizenkreuz quest line, which came out way after this video was published, but that’s still a neat connection. Maybe Hoyoverse really was inspired by that story for genshin’s worldbuilding
Under the Teleport Waypoints description, it is mentioned that "people of the continent see them as ancient gimmicks - they are accustomed to their existence despite not knowing their purpose". However, during our dialogue with Katheryne in Inazuma, she said "in any case, you probably know how to use the Teleport Waypoints, right?". Some how, this Katheryne and whoever created Katherynes know about the purpose of Teleport Waypoints.
@@Ashikai It would be interesting to see a video of you going into the rabbit hole on this topic. There is something I found interesting about this ability called sub-space creation. Geo daddy granted this ability to adepti as a blessing. Yanfei has trouble making an abode, but our antagonist does not. This made me wonder what is the antagonist?
6:27 (Inazuma act 1 spoilers) When going through the prison break with Yoimiya, I noticed these boards with 3 one-eyed women on them. Maybe this is a reference to what she talks about here
my take. Baal is not the real archon she replaced someone and now she is trying to revive the real one. maybe its her twin. Cause it seems like Baal personality changes when she is fighting with sword
I think she is possessed for the older electro archon...as eternity archon he dont die..Just possessed her...and can regenerate him self with this vision Hunt decree.. this is my theory..
just wondering, there is definitely a resemblance between homa, the bp symbol and the omnipresent god - but I also wanted to point out that the layout of musk reef is quite similar to how they look as well. I'm not very sure if it has much of a relation, but while I spent time on the island it hit me that it's resemblance to all of these symbols is uncanny. The way the land looks on the water really does take that shape...
Euthymia is a weird word to elect, since euthymia is associated with mood disorders, especially bipolar disorder, similar words are dysthymia( persistent depressive disorder ) and cyclothymia which are both mood disorders. Euthymia is a mood state, and a euthymic mood is one where you are resilient to mood disturbances and usually experience cheerfulness and tranquility. With that said though, euthymia doesn’t necessarily need to feel nice and it is in essence a neutral/balanced mood state where you are more resilient to stress factors. I’m just mentioning this since euthymia is a word associated mainly with mood disorders, especially bipolar disorder, which could be an allusion to Baal’s actual mood state/emotional landscape.
Doesn't the moon represent emotions according to some beliefs? Also, in Shakespeare’s “Othello,” the maid Emilia tells Othello that the moon has drawn too close to the Earth - and driven men insane.
lucy strauss yes, but i don’t think this is adequate if we’re speaking about euthymia. as you may know, moods emotions, and feelings are technically different things. euthymia isnt in regards to emotions, rather it refers to someone’s mood; moods and emotions are different things in psychology. for example someone who has high-functioning depression, a mood disorder, may be able to have emotions of joy or feel happy, but their mood is still depressive. euthymia is simply being in a neutral mood state which is highly resistant to mood disturbances and stress factors, and while that sounds as simple as “being okay,” the thing is that the common person isn’t described as euthymic. euthymia is used to describe this neutral mood state in people with mood disorders, especially ones like bipolar disorder or cyclothymia. it’s also important to remember that even though someone may be euthymic, they are by no means necessarily okay in how they free, though it is common that they feel just “okay.”
Love the theories! I watched the whole thing again and didnt skip ads either. Ive previously noticed the staff of homa resembled the BP icon and im glad other ppl did too. Now that you say the wings of the new archon statue also looks like homa i cant un-see it. It really does have a similarity...🧐😮 Could one of the moons sisters be the nameless god at the beginning of the game??? I wonder....
Honkai things that feel vaguely relevant: The Herrscher of the Void, who looks very similar to genshin's Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, has a scene where she wears a cape with eyes on it. It reminds me of the statue Baal constructed. The Sea of Quanta, which you said in a previous video is or is related to the abyss, is where a person called the Serpent and a group called the World Serpent originated from. If I got anything wrong please correct me, I've only learned about Honkai lore, I haven't played it.
Ashikai!!! I saw a video theory that the statue is of Istaroth! It’s titled “We finally know whose statue this is!” By the RU-vidr CatWithABlueHat, you should check it out it might inspire some more lore building for you~~ I’d also love to hear your thoughts on this new idea! 👀
Personally I think you were closest in the start, with your new theory it could just be that the former electro archon created baal and scara as vessels for her to possess after her death in order to stay in the mortal realm to keep her promise of eternity to her people Scara and baal come into the world as siblings and live as “perfect” vessels, until one day scara ether figures out what’s going on, or baal ends up getting chosen over him as the new electro archon, so scara is sent into a deep sleep, now being obsolete as he might become jeleus or something I guess...? Scara ends up waking up on his own through force of Will alone and wonders the world from a distance of baal for years, learning more about himself and what he is, until he comes across the fatui, destined to save baal from her creators true intentions. The statue then, could rather be something used to connect the current and former archons ambitions and allow them a way to draw power from eachother in a sense, the wings most likly being simmaler to statues of dead folk with angle wings, and the adornment of the eye It’s possible she could have had this eye at the time of her death, or wore one, knowing she was going to die at some point, or like nearing the end of your theory all of this could have been archived by the former electro archon who DID actualy immortalize herself as a statue in her death, leaving behind vessels that would in turn take her place in her absentce, ones she could use to her advantage, the statue does after all, share those same simmaler items your mentions With the wings of a holy bird that flare like a ferocious presence, adorned with the powers of the ambitions of others so she can fight the curruption of celestia
A little bit of topic but one of the 4 deer who live at the top of yggdrasil is called dvalin wich translates to deep sleeper ( source Wikipedia and the asgård comic book)
It is not Baal that slayed the giant serpent orobashi. It was the previous Raiden Ogosho. The reason was not given why they fought but it was mentioned that the serpent is the one that initiated it. It's mentioned in the Sanganomiya Chronicles (Quest item). It also says that it spiralled out of the ocean abyss creating a vortex (not sure if this is the abyss or just a mention of depth).
That part is unclear right now. They use the same naming and terminology. When 2.1 comes I'm hoping we get some more clarity on that, and when we do I'll add a note to the pinned comment.
I only saw the laws of teyvat "Teyvat has it's own set of laws", right? I feel like this would actually play an important part in the story.... I may be wrong though
@@Ashikai In Chinese Xianxia novels, there is the concept of the power of Laws, that can be weaponized and used to attack. The elements are low level Laws, while higher level Laws have interesting concepts like Space/time, fate, luck and others. You can see a little of it in the Baal fight, where a domain is also a popular Xianxia trope. Also a concept in Xianxia is the idea of mutiple layers of worlds. The novel would usually start at the lower world, and then break through a layer of cultivation, or sometimes literally breaking through the sky of the lower world, to reach a higher world, with stronger Laws and powers. In game, this would be represented by character levels. Somehow I think that when you can breakthrough level 100, there would something similar. Actually, the opening of this game is a pretty good representation of the Xianxia troup of a higher world character (the twins) falling or getting trapped in a lower world.
We can't forget, The Tsarista is up to no good and it involves the Abyss. Also that Baal is a new Archon. Anyways, I'm gonna bring teyvat to its knees through the power of Noelle and lolis.
I once heard a theory someone saying that there are 'original' archons and not. they said that venti and zhongli are one of the originals. the archon war was said that it took place much longer ago(sorry, I don't remember when it took place) and some of the *current* archons didn't exist yet at the time, so it implies that some archons are taking place of an 'original' archon. i feel like *what if* baal was just taking the previous electro archon's place, and attempting to achieve their previous 'wish/ambition'. Or if that's not the case, she is probably trying to achieve their previous wish/ambition in her *own* way. idk if I said it right lol, well I tried. im honestly not good at making theories or anything of the sort xD
According to Venti and Zhongli, the Archon war persisted for several centuries, and only ended 2600 years ago. They are the only two archons remaining who were archons as of the end of the Archon war. It explicitly says that the other archons changed and then changed again, and describes the previous ones as "departed." Pretty sure they're all dead.
The video is great as usual! I'm still a bit confused by 04:30 because the origin of thousand arm thousand eye Bodhisattva is not fixed in this video. It is not a Japanese myth. This form of him was created during Buddhism's spread in China and is still the most well known form of avalokitesvara Bodhisattva today. I guess you probably mean "the appearance of avalokitesvara in Japan (and many other countries) has a thousand arms and a thousand eyes", but some how, to make a very poor analogy, the wording in this video sounds like saying "Jesus, a guy from American myth" for audiences who believe in or know about Christianity, which doesn't quite make sense.
Ahaha yeah that's fair. I am specifically talking about Kannan as she appears in Japanese Buddhism, but I can see how it'd come off that way. (If I was going to make a video about Jesus I *would* actually make that distinction between the American interpretation of him vs what's actually in the book because uh... they're... very... not the same. But that says more about Americans than anything else IMO, and I am one. We no like reading (apparently).)
I totally missed this video, but now is already outdated, yet there's some things that I want to point out that I noticed. If you look closer at the bottom of the statue you'll see that is damaged, first people joked about saying that Itto damaged trying to get his vision out, but the mark extends to the other side of the statue from bottom to top, similar how the Skyfrost Nail was broken in the bottom, now I'm not saying that the Statue of Omnipresent God was the top of the nail, because the nail has golden details and its blue in the damaged parts, but Celestia might have dropped the Statue to warn Ei about what could happen if she doesn't follow their rules.
YEAHHHH GLAD I WASNT THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED THE WINGS LOOKED LIKE THE STAFF OF HOMA AND THE BATTLE PASS SYMBOL. To be honest, I thought it was just merely a coincidence and nobody really listened to me but at least I know now that I wasn't thinking crazy
Is the Moon on Baal's domain is one of the three moon, or maybe the same moon fron We will be reunited trailer? Is she trying to revive it with visions?
So I just realized something about the statue. You know how the Thousand Armed, Hundred Eyed God statue is likely a reference and inspired by the deity Kannon right? And how this statue resembles more like the Welkin Moon? And also the possibility of this Welkin Moon being one of the moon sisters (or was I guess)? So what if this is just Mihoyo's way of tying it together like so: Kannon = Canon.
Did anyone else notice the moon in the background during the fight with baal? I feel like the moon is there for a reason. Unless I am overthinking everything and the moon is there to make the domain look better.
What I actually meant to say is that there is a lot of information to take in but after watching the video like 2 times I managed to get the all the information from the video. Sorry for the misunderstanding, and keep up with the good content.
Remember that one video (the one that starts with her and a ruin guard, you can see it on Genshin's official RU-vid channel) of Lumine remembering what she saw in the past, which I believe is the destruction of Khaenri'ah or something happening right after/before meeting the Unknown God...? Her memories show some sort of red moon as well, very similar to this one, as well of some ruins and... destruction. I suppose these 2 moons (or the same moon?) might be connected?
Xiao's constellation is the shape of a phoenix witch also looks like the homa wings.... Maybe he shows up at some point in inazuma. Sorta important to remember he is REALLY old.
ooo another theory! because the visions are the “eyes of god” it can be depicted as Celestia watching every move and sound of what’s going on in Teyvat. there was a theory that perhaps the god/king of the celestia is the fake king because in reality the god was kicked out by the real god however the fake didn’t see the real’s face at all so that makes the fake think that he’s the top and therefore creates their own world. for a big world, it’s hard to keep track of everything of what’s going on hence maybe why archons are in place. the gnosis is perhaps similarly like a vision but this time it’s directly from celestia. in other words, celestia is #stalking the archons to make sure order and balance is in place. the incident of the destruction of Khaenri’ah 500 years ago is perhaps the cause to as why some archons decides to depart with their gnosis’. Baal, may have hated celestia of something that happened during the destruction or around that time that perhaps causes her rule to take visions away so the gods of celestia isn’t watching or preventing the humans to ascend into godhood. in the official manga of genshin, the interior of celestia looks somewhat like a panopticon - a cylindrical area full of prison cells or isolated chambers. perhaps baal sees the true extent of celestia and decides that no one should ascend there because of perhaps how corrupt celestia really is - therefore taking away visions and storing it away onto the statue. it’s rumoured that maybe baal has already had her gnosis taken away and gathering gnosis’ to replace that power shortage to defend her people with. the statue could be like a powerhouse of some sort to use in times of dire need. however this is all complete speculation. brain fart goes brrrrrr
Hey! I just wanna know whether P.A.I.M.O.N that sends you mail in game is really Paimon. I mean in Paimon's birthday the sender is "Paimon" not P.A.I.M.O.N, while P.A.I.M.O.N sends you reward from the devs. Are they two different things in lore? What does it stands for? Like Project Artificial Intelligent something?
Ok hm... I'm Brazilian, and I like to watch those Genshin Theory videos mostly to train my English (btw love your voice). But ngl I got confused though half of the video because you kept saying "the immovable god, and the enternal Euthymia" I didn't understood at first but after seeing some comments and finishing the video I realized it was because of the translation in Brazillian Portuguese. In Portuguese (and probably other languages too) it is translated as "The immovable god and the eternal utopia" For those who don't know Utopia means any description of an ideal society, based on laws and political-economic institutions truly committed to the well-being among individuals. Just a point that I wanted to share with yall, have a great day :) (Sorry for the bad English tho)
At the start of the theory I wanted to suggest that maybe Baal takes all the Visions, because her own dreams were shattered, and she put the idea in getting her dreams back by robbing others, but then the rest of the video made me think otherwise xD
The statute with the homa wings is of the thousand eyed god isnt it, the one where the hunted visions are laid upon. This was told by Zhongli when talking about Raiden and the vision hunt. In the livestream, yae and baal were told to be the most important characters in inazuma. I think Yae is like the one with the statue, they even have similar face but as you said the welkin angel also looks like the statue and may relate with the celestia. Cant wait for tomorrow.
@@Ashikai ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t_wCCeQq298.html I basically meant to reference what zhongli talked about Baal. Here, he also talks about visions and the statue. Also that in the livestream yae and raiden were said to be the key chars for the inazuma quest by the game developer.
The hair doesn't match, the statue's cloak doesn't show any signs of fox ears which Yae has, and the archive books (i don't remember which book) confirms Yae is younger than Baal and Saiguu (basically that she wasnt even born 500 years ago when Saiguu was still alive).
I just read story of toky street (sheets that we need to find) in this book is basicaly saying that narukami island was first living creatures was oni, than there come Kitsune and they fight between them... So we know that there is famous Kitsune, Kinsune Saigu, what if he/she is first archont and he/she died 500 years ago and Baal ocupied her/his position, that Baal is se on archont doesnt mean that she not oldest then Zhongli she just ocupied position of archont and as archont she is One of youngest
Dendro archon is the youngest of the archons, and was signed on 500 years ago after the cataclysm because the previous Dendro archon died. Baal was an archon before the cataclysm, so by that logic Saiguu would have needed to die before the cataclysm so Baal could take over.
after watching your false moon video, I noticed the wings of homa/ Kannon stature IN CELESTIA. On the left side of the celesta sprite, you can see a silhouette of what looks to be exactly that.
I belive there are 2 sides of the chest.. and dainslief is like piomon to other traveler.. compare their clocks and role. black side of the chest is undergrund or could be compared to hell.. visions are powers that originate from celestia delusion is power from abbys.. haven and hell Alchemy and kemia originate in haven other in hell. They both get their powers from difrent source. Not sure how powerfull is thre of life and where does it fit. Thre has more power than gods is more godly than any other god.. All this could be only simbolic like cristianic fate..
maybe baal is using the statue to watch over people, and the visions are being used as eyes :/ she literally HAS to be related to the goddess of the red moon somehow bacause she's the only other person ive seen with it in her background so maybe she's trying to resurrect it or something our sibling can move between timelines (i think) because they were using the upside down statue of the seven, and we're almost certain that the abyss is trying to bring back khaenri'ah so maybe baal just has a way to directly communicate with that red moon and she's trying to ressurect it as part of that plan. idk how im not that smart lol
Wow this is so based on Buddhist my current religious!! But mihoya may or may not understand the concept of enlightenment or nirvana correctly but it's entertaining to watch anyways! Ty for making this video and keep up the good works
