10 Agility Ladder Drills For Tennis Players
The agility ladder is one of the most useful pieces of kit for any athlete. You can develop a wide range of physical skills including agility, coordination, balance, light footedness to name a few! But, best of all, it is super portable and can be set up ANYWHERE!
Here I show you 10 of my favourite drills for tennis players.
Hang around to the end of the video to find out how you can build these drills into a workout routine.
Let me know if there are any exercises you've done before or if there are any that are new to you?

Nice video. Thanks. How often would you recommend this to be done, say if one wants to improve their agility and footwork ( rather than maintaining it )?
@TheTennisMentor
@TheTennisMentor 3 года назад
It really depends on how often you play/train. You can incorporate it as a warm up for your training sessions, but it shouldn’t be your only training method. Sprint work is also important... as well as developing fast, light footwork, tennis players need big, explosive strides too, so I’d say balance ladder work with sprint work!

How many sets each should be done?
@TheTennisMentor
@TheTennisMentor 8 месяцев назад
It really depends on what you want to get out of it… coordination warm up/cardio workout, and also your fitness level. I like to go 3 times through each one, it gives me time to improve my foot speed on each exercise before moving on.
@joaomariasilva5183

Do you recommend 4m or 8m ladder?
@TheTennisMentor
@TheTennisMentor 2 года назад
Depends on your space… 8m is good but 4m can be put in smaller spaces!
