Thank you! Glad to hear you love my osteoporosis videos! I don’t have any videos specifically for pelvic floor strengthening but that’s a great idea for a future video or two. I’ll put that on my ‘to-do” list. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment 💛

I am 70 .one month back because of my age my pcp sent me for dexa scan .i don’t have body pains or bone pains.scan shows i have osteoporosis.my doctor recommended medication once a week tablet.but it has lot of side effects.now after watching many videos i decided to take supplements and exercises for two months and go for blood work to know the improvement.but osteoporosis is not reversible (it makes me sad)
I'm happy that you found my RU-vid channel! You are correct that many osteoporosis prescription medications have a lot of negative side effects. I think it's great for you to try to take supplements and exercise before taking a prescription. Exercise, especially weight bearing exercise, can do a lot to strengthen your bones. Two months is a short period of time to see the results you are probably hoping for so I make sure that you are consistent everyday. Eat a good diet with whole foods that contain calcium. You can use supplements to help your body, but your body will absorb the vitamins and minerals better from actual food. Avoid soda (if you drink it) because the phosphoric acid in soda depletes calcium from your bones. Make sure you are consistent with moving your body every day. Walking is great for your bones and of course this video is very helpful. Don't give up on yourself. You are worth the hard work that you need to put in daily. Educate yourself, search for more RU-vid videos that are appropriate for your energy level, and don't be sad! Life is not reversible either 🤗💛💪☺
Thank you very much for your reply.from today I practice daily one exercise episode of yours to maintain good bone health.i understood for osteoporosis only supplements and good food is not enough exercise is also compulsory in daily life .
This was my first time with these exercises. Having just finished, I feel I should have stretched lower back before doing them. What lower back stretches do you recommend?
You can try cat/cow pose either seated in a chair or seated on the floor or on hands and knees on the floor and also hug your knees into your chest while lying on your back and then roll side to side.
Bridge pose (from 18.18min to 20.04min in the video) strengthens and stimulates the posterior elements and muscles of the entire spine. It is generally safe for the spine. Since I do not know what your exact activity level or osteoporosis diagnosis is, I would recommend checking with your doctor. When you do want to start doing bridge pose, I recommend starting to practice bridge pose slowly and not using any weights until you feel that your muscles are stronger.
I am using 5 pound dumbbells in this video. You can also do these exercises with no weights or with water bottles or soup cans. Listen to your body as you do the exercises and either add or subtract weight to suit your needs. You can also use 8 or 10 pound dumbbells once you are used to 5 pound dumbbells.
Your channel is good. Your videos are very nice, but you are not getting regular likes, comments and your subscribers are not increasing. If you want I will give you my best work and show your channel work. First of all I am not asking you for money. I will do your work, you give me money later, no problem.
