gosimpli.ca began in 2010 as a webhosting gift from my husband. A man who understood my frustrations with finding good quality fitness and saw the potential in the kinds of workouts I created for myself. Long gone were the days of hard core cardio; endless running miles clocked to shed a few pounds in order to drop a dress size or bare my midriff in a summer bikini. In come the days of long term health, living injury free and keeping up with my ever energetic children. I want fitness that works! Fitness without fuss. So, I cleared out my storage area to create a “studio”; an unfinished room with curtains to conceal the gallery of my children’s precious school artwork and foam mats to cover the concrete basement floor and protect my joints!
I’m a wife, mother of two, and a certified Physical and Health Education high school teacher. Just like you, I make lunches, do laundry, go to work and drive kids around. I cheer at events and races, attend school concerts and plays, read bedtime stories, feed chickens and tend veggie gardens. I’m busy, you’re busy…we’re women, it’s what we do. And yet, somewhere in that hectic schedule we know we need to make time to keep ourselves fit and healthy.

Im 48 and was super fit- still not too bad but injuries and domino effects…did something to hip flexor over 4 years ago I’ve spent the last 4 years trying to fix and heal I’d like to say to anyone struggling- modify these if you need- I couldn’t even have straight leg on the crossover etc… listen to your body Intention works just the same as the movement Thanks for caring to upload 🙏

Came here because I’m healing from a toe injury and so great to find an exercise that allows me to get back into working out but without putting pressure on my feet. 🙌🏾

Loved this workout! Really wanted something without equipment that was easy to fit into my day and this was perfect (and harder than I thought!) - will be doing this one a lot and looking fwd to other videos of yours!

Thank you so much for this. I have a broken foot and cannot find any workout that doesnt include some pushing foot into mat. Please post more like thos it is great!!!! Longer leg mat workouts without impact. Thank you.

@@gosimpli basically any workout that's just sitting down on a mat. I have trouble balancing so can't really do standing exercises (lunges, squats, etc.) So always have to modify or look for mat exercises 😅

l had non invasive surgery and was bummed out then I could not workout like I used to, I've found your workouts to be great to build me back up now and even after recovery I will continue to use them for on the go days!

Thank you for sharing. I have no injury, but I often have my left knee sore. I also often sit on floor for hours, so this exercise is excellent for me to do everyday. My request is workout to flat tummy. My tummy also get cramp sometimes. Please share workout to solve my problem. Thanks again.

It;s wonderful that you can fit these leg exercises into your daily routine! Well done:) Some good routines to work on your tummy would be my Abdominal Recovery Workouts. To be honest, I have no idea! As much as we want to be able to calculate exactly how many calories we burn while exercising, there just isn't an accurate way to do that.
