Yet another informative video, Andrew, thank you! To me, "home" is a place to find some peace and quiet in the midst of a busy environment, as well as personal space to work and play. As for "Aha!" moments, in my profession I see them often, and it's always a good thing. I also appreciated how you explained the effect of being shown multiple houses. Not many realtors bring that up as a potential negative influence.
Hey Matthew! Great to hear from you my friend! I'm so happy you're part of our Home Tribe Team! You rock! Thank you so much for sharing with us what home means to you. So true in every way! =) I'm stoked you picked up on the effect of seeing multiple homes. It's something I've noticed helping over 200 people buy/ sell homes and in observation of other agents working with their clients. What would you like to watch next? Wishing you an amazing weekend buddy! =)
@@AndrewFinney You're most welcome. Would you consider doing a video on tiny houses or manufactured homes? I hear so many conflicting opinions on both, and I'd appreciating hearing your thoughts.
Those are interesting ideas my friend. I just jotted down a note. =) Just out of curiosity, what specifically are you wondering about and what are the "conflicting" opinions?
Hey, Andrew... I tend to enjoy your videos and must say, I don't particularly care for the music in the background. It's best to eliminate it so that we can hear you and all of the info you provide. Thanks!
Hey Tina! Great to hear from you my friend! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me and for your support. Your rock! What would you like to watch next?
Hey Sherri! Thank you for watching and for your support my friend! In this video, the background mix was a little higher than usual to cover a few low level audio issues I was having when I filmed this episode. I greatly appreciate you and your support Sherri! You rock! What would you like to watch next?
I have found your videos very helpful with great information but your earlier videos were not nearly as well done as this one. You are articulating so much better and you have slowed down your rate of speech to make it more clear. Great job!!
Thank you so much Margaret! I'm always working on learning how to create better videos and I'm very excited that the changes are noticeable and appreciated! Woot! Woot! What would you like to watch next?
Andrew I enjoy all of your videos and I share them with my family members that are thinking about buying a home. You know so much about real estate buy and sell side...thank you for sharing.
Home: safe place to be comfortable, enjoy life with. I live in an apartment and moving to a condo - it is nice to have outdoor maintenance done, fewer responsibilities to enjoy home more. Both a place to be safe and comfortable, and a place to have fun.
Hi Michelle! Thank you for sharing what home means to you. I'm super excited for you and your move to a condo to better enjoy life and be comfy! Hooray! What would you like to watch next?
@@AndrewFinney Still want to see security tips with cams; how can/does that raise value on a home. What about finding a home that recently had renovations? Who digs up permits? Proof of work, who did it, what was improved. Can you use that to bargain? Seller did DIY bathroom, doesn't have proof or show work, can the price be discounted? Some hard-nose bargaining tips.
Hey Marjorie, fair question. If you're referring to Las Vegas, it will depend on the zoning. There are some area's that have rural zoning where a few farm animals might be permitted. If you're referring to another area, it will also likely depending on city ordinances and zoning of the property in question. Sending you positive vibes everything is going your way!
Hey Stephanie! Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out this video! =) How's everything going for you on your channel? What would you like to watch next?
Love your videos. Need some help please. My offer was accepted. Yippee! So my lender is saying eventhough I qualify for a conventional loan I should go for the FHA that has a better rate. What should I do?Conventional at 2.99% will cost 1.875 pts or FHA is 2.75% no points. Thanks for your help.
If you have time to do a video exclusively on very old and historic homes it would be enlightening. I have been looking to buy in a state where about 95 percent of the homes were built between 1810 and 1920 or so. Lots of Victorian, Edwardian, Farm houses, etc. Most of the homes or affordable homes are in need of rehab. What are the expectations and pitfalls for buyers having to purchase from this supply of homes?
Hi Allison! That's certainly a very interesting concept. To be honest, I'm not presently aware of any state that would have 95% of the home built in that era. It certainly stands to reasons that areas of the East coast will have homes built in that timeframe from how how the US developed and expanded looking back on US History. Very fascinating concept indeed. If there's a way I can figure out how to make a meaningful video around your ideas, I will. All the same, I do have a video I created a few years about about things to consider when buying an old house. @@AndrewFinney thank you Andrew. I will watch it. Check out some of the real estate in Vermont. So many houses that are not in Burlington are in that time frame. I had no idea that the housing in this state was going to be so difficult when we selected the state as where we were going to move.
Thank you for the tip Allison! Will do! =) It's a tight housing market in the vast majority of the USA currently. The inventory levels here Las Vegas are at 20% of what they should be for a "normal" housing market for Las Vegas. I'm sending ya'll positive mojo ya'll are able to find the right home for you soon. If not, then perhaps wait until later in the year or early next year. If my predictions from the information I shared in 2021 housing market predictions video are accurate, we'll see a slight uptick in the available homes for sale by 3rd-4th qtr of this year. It will really come down to what happens in the next few months with economic policy. I'm keeping an eye on the trends and may start a new weekly (or twice a month) content type for sharing what's trending, happening, and shaping up in the housing market. Is that a type of video you'd like to watch?
Hi h7opolo! Thank you for watching and for letting me know the link wasn't there. I just updated the cards in this video. Specifically, here's the link about "how long things last in a home." ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-96d5_0vGX3U.html Good catch my friend!
