Since you asked: My favorite Eeveelution is Leafeon and I was glad I was finally able to use one on my playthrough team in Legends Arceus.

The starter, Luxray, Staraptor, Lucario, Garchomp and Roserade is pretty much everybody's team on a first Sinnoh playthrough

Jolteon is easily my favorite eeveelution, may not have the best stats but holds some serious nostalgia for me

I feel like the Nidos need to be on this list. The fact that you can have this absolute UNIT before you even get out of Mt. Moon is insane.

Ralts should be on this list, I think. You can find it super early in most games, it’s really strong in both evolutions, and has an INCREDIBLE mega!

I'm surprised Floatzel wasn't on the list since it's an easy choice for a Sinnoh water type. I actually didn't use Roserade until a few years ago when playing through Brilliant Diamond

I can completely agree with Luxray. I've used it in every run I have in Sinnoh and even in Hisui. I've even got more respect for my Platinum Nuzlocke when that one, which had Intimidate for the ability, came clutch in taking down Fantina with minimal casualty to my team

This was a really good list. As for a favorite Eeveelution, besides Eevee (who is adorable), I'd go for Espeon, on account of it carrying me through my Colosseum run. I feel like with the elemental sets provided I would put the three Kanto legendary birds on there. When I was playing Blue back in the day I just had to put one of them on my team once I got them. Articuno was my fav.

My favorite eeveelution is 100% sylveon, I just like it's cute design and the way eevee evolved into sylveon in the anime while it was holding Serena's hand was so cute, I also like ribbons and bows

Actually I did use Togepi in my last playthrough of Soul Silver years ago and kept it all the way through. I even challenged the elite 4 with Togetic in my party and it was super tough. But it was totally worth it when I finally got Togekiss.

Honestly I love all the eeveelutions. Their all pretty bulky for being small dog/cat/fox things and I loved using Vaporeon whenever possible.

Pretty much nailed it, used all of these Pokemon on at least one of my teams, and a few of them even made my Champion team. I might have included some of the middle evolutions where a trade is needed for the final one, I know there's a lot of us who hoped we'd be able to get the trades done, but never could, so had to make do with the Haunter, Dusklop, Machoke and Graveler friends we made a long the way. Also, my favourite Eeveelution is Espion as I never expected my Eevee to evolve whilst I was waiting for a stone... Still would love a Ghost Eevee so I can use it during my Ghost playthroughs.

10/10. I used all those pokemon at least once or twice. Garchomp is my favorite pokemon to this day

This was a good video and my favourite Eeveelutions is Espeon as it looks like a cat and Gardevoir on the next list as ot has probably been used a lot in peoples first play through.

Its nice that mystic came to appriciate some sinnoh classics such as luxray and torterra

Lucario is dope and always wanted to use one but it didn’t fit on my team in Sinnoh and Kalos

I'm almost 40 (clears throat this upcoming February) late bloomer in the Pokemon games so my first ever starter was Grookey! Luxray and Staraptor have grown on me tremendously! Roserade 🌹 had me sold immediately in the Galar region! One of my faves!

This was a good list, my favorite eeveelution is probably Umbreon, and I think the only one of these I’ve never used on a play through is Garchomp, which I only realized after watching this.

I never used a gyrados till I played legends. Seeing it fly in the air, I had to catch him lol

This list was EXTREMELY accurate :P everything except #1, although I did use one on my recent all-water Hoenn run-through. I came across a shiny and I've never come across a shiny I've wanted to use for a team so I went for it. Definitely used Lucario a bunch. As soon as I find out it's available in a game, I gravitate toward it. From the Kalos anime series but also it was the last movie with the original voice actors so there's a lot of nostalgia there. And I've done Eevolution teams in every possible game up until Ultra Sun. Maybe one day I'll try that out for Galar and Paldea but it'll be some time before that happens. Vaporeon was on my original Blue team in the beginning but I've really enjoyed used Leafeon as well in recent games

I used Garchomp as part of my team in Scarlet and Violet in part because it’s relatively easy to get in the early game and also because I used one in the Gen 4 games. I also have used the majority of those other Pokémon at least once as well.

Now that I think about it, I think I've just used Lucario maybe once, also never used Roserade (altough I love it) and Togepi. Honestly surprised Nidoking/Nidoqueen didn't made into the list

My favourite eeveelution is Glaceon, which I finally used in my first playthrough of Y.

Favorite eeveelution: Glaceon Though surprisingly I’ve never used Lucario, Garchomp or Roserade. By the time I got the Riolu egg I already had my team made in DPP, I used Torterra so had no need for a roserade on my team and never caught Gible or Gabite during any play throughs. Have used them in competitive though.

Definitely got me with everything on this list. I was for sure #1 was Pikachu. Fave Eeveelutions would be Espeon, Jolteon, Vaporeon and Leafeon.

Togitic was actually on my final hgss team I remember using choice specs that I got from somewhere and spamming extrasensory on Bruno in the elite four

I honestly love the elemental monkeys. First time playing Black, I knew I wanted Emboar and Simisage on my final team, so learning that you get given a Pansage at the Dreamyard if you pick Tepig, that certainly worked out nicely! Pansage fell off a little bit after Striaton Gym, but I persevered with it until Castelia City. It hit level 22, learned Seed Bomb, and I used a Leaf Stone to evolve it into Simisage, and it just, it just rocked from there on in. And Pansear is even better to use from Gen 6 onward in the early game because of the Incinerate buff.

You sir have listed 4 Pokémon I’ve used on my favourite team with Infernape, Gyarados, Roserade (which was shiny) and Garchomp. The other 2 were a special surfing Pikachu with a light ball and Porygon-Z

True it actually feels weird to go through a play through without a Staraptor on your team

I can say I played black 2 and white 2 like crazy when I was a kid. Anytime I restarted my game and didn’t pick tepig I would grab a riolu from the ranch and just have fun the entire game with a strong mon on the team

Last year (2022), I replayed pokemon White. I was specifically trying to use Pokemon that I've never used b4 so I picked Snivy as my starter since Panpour was my fav of the elemental monkeys.Pond saved my run. It doesn't matter when I play; I ALWAYS have some struggle against Marshel the Fighting Type Eliete Four (whether it be a small struggle or nearly wiping on him). Pond the Simipour somehow got crits and dodges on multiple of his pokemon AND he was my last guy standing! I was alright with Simipour bc I liked the design, but after that I quite fond of him.

I'm glad I was able to transfer over a gligar over to my shining pearl copy and get to use it fully its not bad at all its fun

My favorite Eeveelution is Espeon for sure but I like Umbreon and Jolteon for sure and Sylveon is great as well but I do like all of them. I also used every Pokémon on the list for sure and the only ones that are only once or twice was Togapi and the elemental monkeys the rest I used many many times

Flareon is my favorite Eevee evolution,but i like all of them. Very accurate.

I have legitimately never used one of the Unovan Monkeys.

Espeon is my favorite with Sylveon being a close second.

Gible in X and Y is decently levelled to be usable, plus one level, you get an easy Gabite. Plus the Lucario you receive is used heavily in speedruns

Speaking of using the starters at least once, I know I’ve tried to use each individual starter once. I’ve done it in for Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. I gotta use Quaxly in SV and Sobble in SwSh 😅

I’ve definitely used a good portion of these Pokémon over others, mainly due to having not played the games featuring the ones I haven’t. Definitely Lucario, Garchomp, most of the Eeveelutions &, of course, the starters. As for my favorite Eeveelution? It used to be Jolteon, with its varied move set that included its standard electric attacks but also Pin Missile to stand a chance against Grass or Psychic, as well as Double Kick to stand up to Rock. Now, my favorites are as follows: Umbreon, Espeon, Jolteon, Glaceon, Vaporeon, Flareon & Leafeon. I’m not a fan of Sylveon, to be completely honest.

Aside from the elemental monkeys and the Lake of Rage Gyarados, I can confirm I've used all of these (I mean, the starter's a given). BDSP were my first REAL Pokemon games and though I didn't use Lucario and Garchomp in my final teams (simply because they were relatively late game for me and I had other options) I did use 'em post-game and have used all of the listed Pokemon that are available in either Legends: Arceus or Scarlet/Violet. Also, my favourite Eeveelution is a tie between Glaceon due to it's aesthetics and design, and Umbreon simply because it's the coolest of the bunch in addition to being cute. Edit: Correction, I did use Garchomp in BD's final team. Not Luca, tho, but it was in both my Scarlet and Violet's final teams.

Tbh, I was kinda expecting Pikachu to be on this list. It's technically been a starter in multiple games (literally being on the cover of said games), it's the face of the franchise, has had a LOT of exposure due to the anime and movies, and you get access to it pretty early on in every game it's appeared in. Not to mention the fact that it had multiple exclusive Z-Moves, a G-Max form, and an item that literally doubles its power with the Light Ball. The Pokémon company gave people every possible excuse to try it out at least once. Also, since you asked, my favorite Eeveelution is probably Espeon. I had an Eevee named Evo when I played through Omega Ruby and I wanted to just let it evolve naturally instead of giving it a stone. Once it did, I regretted nothing because it helped me tear through the rest of the game. Also, I really like its shiny which I can't say for some of the others. But a close second would be Jolteon since I like its design and it's one of the better options competitively. Though Flareon and Glaceon are underrated imo and deserve a bit more recognition.

Next episode for sure gotta have Ampharos, the HGSS Luxray

First starter I ever used was Feraligatr when I got Silver for the Gameboy Color. Always loved water types even before Feraligatr, and loved how it was the offensive counterpart to Blastoise in terms of stats. Is it the best, no; will it have a special place in my heart thanks to my childhood, yes. Also definitely agree with the red Gyrados; 1st ever shiny introduced, offensive monster in Competitive in Pokémon tournaments, need I go on? Also can’t decide between Jolteon and Espeon since Espeon is my favorite Eeveelution, but Jolteon was who I selected to evolve my Eevee into from XD: Gale of Darkness.

Defenitly a interesting theme. For me the list was spot on exept for two i never used were the monkeys and Roserade. The monkeys simply because i never talked to the girl at the Dreamyard back in the days dont know why i usally talk to every npc but i missed her and Roserade because i never really needed a grastype since i used Torterra exept for one time where i used Empoleon so yeah it never crossed my mind.

If there is a legends kyurem I kind off want to see the elemental monkeys as the starters but with a buff

Best Eeveelution is Jolteon imo hands down. That design. That speed. That near-constant OU status from Gens 1-5 until power creep took over. Jolteon has been the most consistently dominant Eeveelution if you average their impacts over 9 generations.

My Pepper(Pansear) is my fav underrated member on my Unova team. A fire punch & attract combo. Plus never evolved her unfortunately she's trapped in Pokemon HOME ... 🔥💞

I love Jolteon Umbreon and Sylveon. But yes you are correct… at least for me i have used all of these guys! Also Gengar and Snorlax have been used at least once i feel like.

Me, I'd say my favorite Eeveelution is Jolteon. Heck, it's also my favorite Pokémon, period. As for the Pokémon mentioned in this video, yeah, I've used most of them, and some of them ended up being my favorites like Garchomp and Roserade. Funny enough, though, I never used the Shiny Gyarados mainly because I used Feraligatr as my starter in Johto.

Favorite Eeveelution was Flareon then changed to Espeon since psychic is my favorite type. I do appreciate Sylveon tho cuz I used it in my legends run and she was a boss!!

My favorite Eeveeloution is Flareon but I have a fire type bias. In 7 of the 9 generations the fire starter is my favorite and go to.

With the exception of a Cyclizer solo run and losing Wartutle in a FireRed Nuzlocke, my starter tends to see the adventure to the end. Ah, you were ready for me on Luxray. I still question how I was able to get Togetik on Japanese Silver. I also remember either from Pokeathelon or trade, I used Togekiss in Soul Silver's Johto phase. Not for Diamond's main, but I level 100'd a Lucario there and had one for most of Black 2. I did not use one in Kalos for my gen 6 only run. Espeon and Umbreon might count on starter list because Colesseum, and Glaceon was on my Volo fight. Espeon is favorite though, but was going for Ice theme. I forgot how long I kept my Panpour. I think up until Tympole. Garchomp was one I prepped in Black 2 and used some in Arceus. I used Starraptor in main game and Battle Tower. I think Roserade was only used in Arceus for me. I think it was skill issue trying to evolve Budew. I think I was making Roserade in remake. Red Ghyrados is why I had 2 waters in my team.

i definitely used a weird sinnoh team as a kid because i remember my heavy hitters being floatzel and torterra, and i never used luxray or garchomp. i think for the next list you should add everyone's favorite HM helper (bidoof) also to add: my favorite eeveelutions are espeon and flareon! yes flareon sucks ingame but it's just so FLUFFY

Other top contenders: Crobat (available almost in any game), Ampharos (go to electric type in Johto + early electric type in BW2), Nidos (Kanto's best early options), Guardevoir (available in lots of games, fan favourite)

Actually, I always liked the monkeys because I never evolved them. I still like their base forms. They are just so happy :) As for Eevee: Jolteon and Espeon are my favourites. Sylveon and Vaporeon, not so much... And I will never get, what's so special about Shiny Umbreon. As for Garchomp: Outside of Pokemon Go I have never used it.

9/10, I missed the monkeys in my BW playthrough. Eeveelutions on a technicality because of Coliseum. Was waiting for Gyarados!

I haven't used the red Gyarados.... until Kitakami. I've used Pokemon like Audino, Emolga, Azumaril, Bronzong, etc in playthroughs. I'm quite surprised that Gardevoir/Gallade wasn't even mentioned.

I'm actually not sure I've ever used a Roserade. I also don't really use the elemental monkeys, since I'm one of the few who hated Gen 5, but I'm pretty sure I did use one once when I tried to play through it (and failed)...
