Booker and Crowder combined to go 14/19 from three Michael Jordan with his “killer instinct, competitive drive, will to win, assassins mentality” would’ve held them to 0/19 from three
It's funny because everyone right now keeps saying "oh he's old in his 18th season without his right hand man and a sprained ankle".......so? I thought the GOAT was supposed to be the best all the time and win no matter the cost and leave everything on the court. LeBron straight up stopped trying this season, it wasn't that he couldn't, he chose not to.
Jordan only played 11 seasons! 86 hurt, 94 95 retired. The Wizard seasons were to make his stake in the team more valuable. Imagine thr numbers if he played those 3 lost years and still pisses me off not keeping it together in 99 season.

Lebron has a totally different play style then Kobe and Jordan they were scorers you could expect 40-50 and score in the tough , biggest moments lebron however is great is his own way he knows how to make his teammates better he understands the game real well he’s good at al aspects of the game which is why he’s in the goat debate yes he doesn’t have the rings than Jordan and Kobe but his ability to be held accountable and lead 3 different organizations to 9 straight nba finals and the fact that his all around game is so unique he can he’s got a little bit of everything in his game he /can pass rebound block , his leadership and iq are way better than any other player he’s just different from Kobe and Jordan in his own way you might not have him better than Jordan but his play-style is completely different so let’s not hate on him for what he has accomplished and he is certainly better than Kobe
@Clan leader Predator Jon was trying to say MJ made NBA popular around the globe that is the truth. Players today able to enjoy huge salary and contracts thanks to MJ
@Clan leader Predator settle down my man, I said Lebron's kind of boring (HE IS!), I still enjoy the game - as for Lebron vs Jordan well too many people don't really know and believe nonsense like Nick Wright so I happily present real facts when needed for complete context (which proves MJ is the GOAT
Before game 5 against Dallas in 2011 the big question was asked. “Will LeBron be able to stop Jason Terry?” That question ended to GOAT conversation. Jason Terry was a very good ROLE player, but ppl forget he was also 34 or 35 & starting to think about retiring. He outscored LeBron & dominated him offensively & defensively for large portions of games. Remember when they wondered if Jordan could stop & score against Jeff Hornecek on Utah? No
@Richard Charles MJ is simply the guy that Lebron doesn't beat in a series. Lebron did have a weak mentality even in his early prime year's. Either Jason Terry was shutting Lebron down or Lebron melted in the finals against the Mavs. The more Lebron grew into a better mentality he also began having some defensive woes. The more clutch Lebron became, he definitely wasn't as athletic anymore. He never had all his tools at one time. MJ was at the height of his prime in every aspect of his game at once, for about 7-8 years straight. His basketball IQ, athleticism, mentality, defense, offense, will, competitiveness etc, were all pretty much at their height during that 7-8 year span. When Lebron's athleticism was at it's height, he lacked mentality. As Lebron became more clutch and a better shooter, he also had 2 season's that he was dead last in the league for getting back on the defensive end. Lebron plays one style which is a great one, and that's all-around. When Pippen would have single digit scoring games in the playoffs, MJ would score a ridiculous amount of points to pick up the slack. And then he would let those teammates know about it in the locker room. He set an example on the court and then confronted teammates in the locker room. That's how MJ elevated his teammates on and off the court. Lebron is a slightly better passer but he has more of a tendency to keep passing rather than become a pure scorer when needed. Lebron is also known to be more friendly in the locker room which has proven to have less impact on teammates, which has resulted in some more finals losses. The will and mentality of MJ put more fear in teammates and opponents than I've seen from Lebron after watching both. MJ almost averaged a triple double while scoring over 30 in the only season he was asked to do so. So he's very capable of carrying a team similar to Lebron while still scoring and defending on a higher level, in an era that played much slower. So he had much less plays to get his 30/8/8. I'll explain the reason MJ didn't continue playing that style too. What many don't know is, MJ had the lowest surrounding scoring cast of teammates among all the star player's throughout history, to still win a title. So that left quite the offensive load on him. That's why his game became more about scoring and stops rather than triple doubles. MJ does what it takes to win championships while Lebron plays his game consistently and it results in some wins. Plus the most advanced criteria given yet has MJ way ahead of the pack. The only criteria given to put Lebron slightly ahead of MJ has been proven biased and also puts quite a few ahead of Lebron himself. So Lebron isn't even goat under any criteria given yet. MJ is hands-down the goat. People will have fun trying to figure out where Lebron belongs on the all-time greats list after he retires. Definitely behind Jordan. Even if he accomplishes much more, he could never be better than Jordan prime for prime. Maybe after Lebron retires people will actually compare him to some of the other greats, that some young and inexperienced media propelled him ahead of without ever measuring them up first. Also, MJ is 11-0 in championship games if you count NBA, NCAA, Olympics etc. And these two guy's are compared as individuals not by their teams. If they had the same win% in boxing, MJ would automatically be considered an all-time great while Lebron would be considered a journey man. If they played against each other in any given era, Lebron may make more finals due to longevity, but MJ would go undefeated everytime they faced-off. Who knows if Lebron would have even grown into a champion mentality if MJ had stood in his way. Lebron obviously didn't grow into that mentality until his second year with Miami, after stacking the deck during his prime to have an unfair advantage over the rest of the league for years to come, in his mind. Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5 etc, in his own words. He didn't know him and Wade wouldn't compliment each other well. And too bad he didn't put the work in or he may have beat the Mavs. But instead he just melted. MJ may have lost in the first round against one of the best super teams ever, but he put up 60 trying to fight through. He just didn't have the supporting cast at the time to prevail. Lebron may have made many finals appearances but he also played in the weakest eastern conference of any era. Least win totals for the top 8 seeds and anybody can look that up. Wade and the Heat gave the blueprint to beating the Pistons the year before Lebron beat them. And those Pistons struggled ever since the Heat broke them. People can brag about Lebron beating the 73-9 Warriors team, but they had no business in the finals. Steph and Klay were young and declining each playoff round. That team almost got beat the series before. Curry just wasn't ready for the big stage. Just the year before, Iguodala came off the bench to get MVP over Curry in the finals. Only reason that team had so many wins is because Kerr revolutionized the game with best two shooter's ever to share the court. But they wasn't a fraction of what they were in the regular season when the playoffs bagan. MJ may have never beat a team with that kind of record, but that was because his team was the Juggernaut team to beat, except Jordan elevated his game in the playoffs unlike the young splash brothers. MJ may get surpassed one day, but Lebron won't be the guy to do it. He's already been too much of a failure. MJ = reigning GOAT.
Bro the fact that this video exists makes humanity stupid. Y’all live in a rock if you guys don’t compare these two. Y’all a bunch of wagon riders who only watch 70’s basketball. Y’all arguments are weak, and they’ve been uses
MJ inspired millions of people to be the best version of themselves. He was a cultural phenomenon that transcended basketball and made it a worldwide success. I don't care how many statistical records LeBron breaks or how many more championships he wins, you cannot recreate the impact and talent MJ had. People who knew nothing about basketball, didn't care about basketball or sports, loved Michael Jordan and could understand his greatness with no frame of reference at all.
In fact, LeBron did the opposite. What MJ built in terms of game popularity, LeBron he single handedly manage to destroy and make people stop watching the NBA (ratings).
Spot on! Because of MJ we never thought that impossible is unattainable. while for this debate, they just let those who lose interest in watching NBA knows that there is a next MJ or much better than MJ. It happens to Kobe which is the the closest thing to MJ.
Quality vs Quantity Jordan achieved more in fewer career years. LeBron achieved more stats because of his longevity in the league (and other factors mentioned below).
Not only that but under the Lebron system, he controls the offense at all times, making his teammates stay in the corner while he runs down the shot clock
Not to mention the league is softer and is easier for offenses. So a lot of those numbers he has are inflated. That’s not his fault but that’s the reality.
I think we all need to step back and have a serious discussion about where Lebron falls in comparison to Kobe... personally, I have Kobe higher on the GOAT list.
@@hawk1093 same, Kobe is the closest thing we have ever seen to Jordan imo, in both playstyle and winning mentality. Kobe has always been number 2 all time for me. Lebron is 3 at the absolute max, but honestly I'd put Bron no higher than 5 all time.
When I go back and what old videos of Jordan, it’s shocking how much tougher the defense looked compared to the modern era. That says a lot about Jordan abilities and also of the abilities of the players of his era.
@@JS-nd1po not as easy as it was back then. It’s more freedom but now u gotta think about it. Most guards are his size or bigger than him. Back then he was 6’6 210 and most 2 guards were smaller than him. At that size it’s lamelo ball, Cade Cunningham etc.
Jordan played more 50 and 60 win teams on his path to rings than LeBron did in less seasons played. Just more proof that LeBron played in a weak conference and was exposed when he got to the Finals, explaining his 6 finals losses.

Every 6'4" to 6'7" guard coming into the league with a little game is automatically said to be the "next Michael Jordan" or my favorite tag "baby Jordan". And as we know none of them reach that level of greatness. That's an unrealistic expectation of anyone. We may never see a two way player as skilled, and completely free of flaws as Jordan. Lebron is bigger and stronger, yet played majority of his career with no true centers to clog the paint the way Jordan had. And somehow Jordan has more and was a better offensive rebounder. Sheesh.

He will also NEVER be 100% in the finals. Then there’s the issues of him quitting in his team twice (two different teams) and refusing to congratulate Phoenix. Lecrybaby is nowhere near Jordan.

Jordan took it to another level in the finals especially the first 3. 91-- average 11.4 assists per game highest for anyone not Magic. 92 - - average an impressive 42% for 3s and in game 1 shot six 3s in a half which was a record for 18 years until Ray Allen the only person to shoot more in a half 93-- average 41 points per game highest ever. Jordan has a higher peak which LeBron has not surpassed
Ofcourse, I only interested in NBA because of him also mike Tyson a beast in boxing. You can talk about other boxers but man people always bring up Tyson like MJ.
In terms of greatness (I.e. accolades and counting stats) LeBron has clearly passed Bird But skill wise that’s pretty debatable. Bird is a much more skilled scorer, better rebounder and plays with much more intensity LeBron is obviously a better athlete and at his peak a better defender. Facilitating wise they’re about equal
He said 4 league mvps from 91-98 when he won all six rings. He had already won his first mvp in 1988 which was considered by many the best mvp season ever because he averaged 35 ppg efficiently while also winning defensive player of the year.
Jordan scored 29-30ppg when teams averaged in the high 90s. Lebron scores 27ppg in the easiest time in history to score and amass stats. Why don’t young people understand this game is easier to play now. You can’t compare eras.
Except that he is not. LeBron James is the greatest basketball player to have ever stepped on the court. All you Jordan fans keep harping on the fact that MJ is "6-0" because that is the only stat ya'll have going for you that LeBron doesn't have. LeBron has lapped MJ is almost every stat there is. You cannot discount all of that simply because LeBron has played longer. The fact that LeBron is so healthy so late in his career should be a testament to his greatness. It shouldn't be held against him but since Lebron has that in his favor, it is not considered. Tbh that's what the MJ vs LeBron debate is all about. All you MJ fans only harp about rings because ya'll know LeBron has only 4. But when people start talking about the things LeBron has in his favor, it's not taken seriously. Forget about titles, lets talk about the ability to play basketball because if it's about achievements then MJ is nowhere close to being the GOAT and we all know that. MJ was unidimensional. He could only score. He was a poor passer and an average rebounder. But since scoring passes the eye test more often than not, the other facets of the game are looked down upon. LeBron is taller, stronger and faster than Jordan. LeBron is a dangerous scorer who can score 50 whenever he wants to, he's the best passer this game has ever seen and is a great rebounder. Now lets talk about this "killer instinct" BS you Jordan fans take great pride in. MJ had an ENORMOUS ego. That is what all you fans mistake for "killer instinct" and its absolute BS. LeBron is not egoistic at all and that shows in the way he plays basketball. He is okay with his teammates being No.1, MJ couldn't stand being second. LeBron loves to see others succeed, MJ desperately wanted to be the only one who succeeds. LeBron is a great teammate and helps other become better, MJ was a terrible teammate and helped his teammates by punching them in the face. This debate has reached a phase where you Jordan fans, unfortunately has no legitimate argument to make without saying 6 rings and thats sad. Once it's all said and done, that gap between the real GOAT and MJ will be so glaring that even Jordan fans will realize how saying "6 rings" won't matter.
@@nerdbamarich2063 Like i said before, you Jordan Girls can't say shiz beyond 6 rings. I know why you didn't read the whole thing because you little Jordan girl brain can't process anything more than 6 rings. The only thing you Jordan girls can read is 6 rings. Petty, lmao...

MJ being heckled or trash talked from a fan in the stands - he torches the team he is playing against, talks trash talk back at the fan and again torches the team he is playing against. Lebron being heckled or trash talked by a fan in the stands - gets upset and gets the refs to throw the fan out of the stadium. Just a big baby

Lebron James ( Playoff mode activated )- Kyle Kuzma Pushes Lebron James to Play Some Defense. *One of the greatest moment in Nba history. It will be remembered for sure.* Lol.
I don’t understand how Bron fans defend him blindly. Jordan made his teammates better wherever he was. He also was just superior to lebron in every way.
@@chaddad4046 Oh shoot did I say in every way, it’s not like he has 10 scoring titles while Lebron has none, 9 defensive player of the year titles while Lebron has none, or more championships. Also he’s undefeated in the finals. And in 1998 he basically brought the team to the Finals himself. Rodman was out doing whatever he wanted, and Pippen was trying to get a better contract by not having surgery earlier. I’m not “delusional” I’m just looking at the facts. Lebron is number three in my book. 1st is Jordan, Second is Kobe, third is Lebron.
@@seattledaffyduck5243 just glossed over pippen and rodman with that excuse. Alrrr. Jordan didn't win anything without pippen so don't pretend like he didn't play well and rodman would still get his rebounds even if he was out partying. Since when was Jordan a better passer rebounder and had a higher basketball iq than LeBron. This video just shows lebron's negatives and doesn't show the whole picture of anything.
@@seattledaffyduck5243 The GOAT argument is ultimately useless and impossible to settle, but you should fact-check yourself before making claims as if you are a basketball expert. Lebron has won a scoring title. Jordan did not win 9 defensive player of the year awards, he won one. Lebron has come in second in dpoy voting twice. I give a lot of credit to Jordan for his 1998 run, but don't disregard Lebron's 2007 and 2018 carry jobs. To debunk your initial claim that Jordan is superior in every way, Lebron is a much better passer and has greater basketball intelligence. However, these arguments are far too simplistic to determine who is better. Your abundant misinformation screams delusional Jordan fan to me.
@@chaddad4046 Geez man, yeah I realized this after I wrote the comment. I’ve been researching more NBA facts because I was a casual. So yes I know now. But calling someone delusional for their opinion is a little bit immature. I don’t discredit Lebron for his accomplishments. In fact he’s one of my favorite players of all time. So yeah I respect Lebron a ton. Although I feel like Lebron and Jordan shouldn’t be compared because they play completely different positions in different eras. Also the real GOAT is Alex Coruso anyway.😂
There was really never any debate. The media created a narrative bc LeBron owns them, but actually there's no debate, and a 1st round exit officially closes the door.
I remember when Mike got blown out in the finals and he came to the press conference with a cast on his hand, saying he only lost because he was playing with a broken hand. But during the series he was dunking with that same hand and doing daps and soul brov handshakes with same hand. I remember another time when Mike was the 5th best on his team for a playoff series. He was out played by the opposing team and his own role playing teammates. I remember yet another time when Mike quit on his team after tying the game to go to OT. He had a great game personally but because a teammate made a mistake, he quit on the team in OT and they lost. He ended up quitting the rest of the series. Yet again I remember Mike not playing defense for 8 plus years after winning a come back finals series which he thought made him the goat. He takes off on defense since that title. I remember one of his young teammates shoving him in the back towards his man to FORCE him to play defense. Damn. Young bucks got no respect for him. I remember again in 2011 Mike formed Voltron with two future HOF/ALLSTARS and still lost miserably to an older team with only 1 aging allstar. Really sad moment for me. He quit and disappeared that whole series. He then had to beg for 4th HOF/ALLSTAR to come play with him to save his legacy. I remember Mike winning last title in a bubble where they catered to everyone’s needs for a few months. Mike claimed it was the hardest title ever. He played against a league where most guys didn’t want to be there because of a bad flu going around. But Mike won and felt he won the hardest ever ever ever chip. Mike just gotta be the goat cause nobody else has a better resume, career, legacy than his.
@Cadillac Kadah reading with understanding is fundamental. Having your sarcasm detector functioning would be good too lol. Let me help you. Everything I mentioned is what Lebron did not Mike. I just flipped it to show Lebron fans how ridiculous it is to try and put Lebron on Mike’s level. All those failures I mentioned remove any possibility of Lebron being the goat, no matter how many longevity stats he accrues. We actually agree.
I think he still has 3-4 good seasons left. Maybe not “best player in the league contender” level seasons, but still all star caliber. But I also think his durability is slowly going away, time is catching up. I just hope he doesn’t have a big injury again.
@@zoddayaintern5490 okay so everyone is freaking out because LeBron suffered two minor injuries that are major for only LeBron 🥱 2019 Slipped and pulled his groin after 8 straight finals 2021 Solomon Hill fell on his ankle🤔 LeBron is so far more durable than any superstar given his age. Y'all act like he injured him self while doing next to nothing🤣🤣🤣 he'll return next still putting up his customary 25, 7,7 and people will act surprised and 180 like they didn't say nothing
@@yungslic5363 all I said is that time is slowly catching up, I’m not wrong. And I didn’t say he wouldn’t be good anymore, I actually said that he would still be an all star. Just not the best player in the league anymore. I’m not hating, lebron is one of my all time favorite players
The real problem is that people shouldnt even compare lebron to MJ its unfair for lebron and unfair honestly to him. He will never be as intelligent or classy as MJ but he is top 5 for sure All time

for those who thinks 90's rule and today's rule are the same... look at these. 1. Restricted Area. the 4-foot ARC below the hoop appeared since 1998. "a defending player can not force a charging foul within this area." It means it's supposed to be easier to score. 2. Footwork: "Gather Step" was introduced in 2009... only then could Lebron win his first chip. a player could literally run 20-feet up the hoop without dribbling. that "gather step" would mean travelling foul before 2009. There are more. but these two are enough to allow easier plays.
Those are rules showing that NBA sacrificed fundamentals of basketball for entertainment thus further degrading the quality of the game. Majority of today players would miserably fail to make in the old school (80-90 era) NBA due to the lack of basis. No wonder today NBA is seen as a joke and a shell of its glory.
When lbj misses and thought he was fouled he complains at the refs instead of getting down on defense. MJ on the otherhand gets down on defense and complains later. Big difference.
Lebron James- *Thunderstorm is coming* and was completely outplayed by Devin Booker Lebron James- *Playoff mode activated* and lost 13 games, managing to win only 8 games. +Missed the Playoffs.
@@daveyap9317 yeah MJ made the playoffs every year he played for the Bulls including his rookie year. It took Lebron 3 years to make the playoffs. Neither of them won the finals and finals MVP their rookie year like Magic did. Making the playoffs and winning rings both are team accomplishments which take a team not an individual. If starting a team I would take MJ over Lebron. That being said I would take Wilt over both of them.
Don't forget the bulls developed Scottie and rodman , rodman was decent with the pistons but became a superstar with the bulls LeBron recruits superstars.
imagine being in the league for so long, scoring so many points to only come up short in finals wins to a guy who only spent 15 years in the league. I show more respect to a guy who wins at the highest level every time then to a guy who comes second best most times.
