Dylan Roberts In Action Comics #593, Mister Miracle and Oberon come home to find Darkseid sitting in the living room. He tells them that Big Barda is not home. When Miracle demands answers, Darkseid gives them a videotape with... Barda doing... Stuff.
Once Deathstroke, attempted to kill who he though was Bruce Wayne but was actually an intoxicated Superman, Deathstroke breaks his sword on him and then Superman flicks him through a wall
But since then deathstroke has knocked superman out with a sword made to kill gods (he used the blunt side) and has had armor supes cant hurt him through
Ahh you're talking about Superman: American Alien. Yeah Deathstroke slipped superman a neurotoxin causing him to become drunkard like with the brain power of a toddler. Best part is when he grabs the sword snapping it with the words "to dah, sard borken"
From the Marvel Wiki's page for Kingpin: "A man of great size, and even greater wealth, Wilson Fisk is one of the mainstays of the criminal underworld. Unanimously recognized as The Kingpin of Crime, Fisk controls nearly all organized crime families on the East Coast that are not Maggia-affiliated. As such, Fisk has run afoul of the majority of heroes in that region. While possessing tremendous physical strength and resiliency, the power Fisk wields through his numerous gangs and criminal employees is even more daunting. An intelligent man, Fisk makes sure to never place himself in a situation in which the law can prove his responsibility for crimes, using middlemen and hired crooks to do his bidding. While he does not discriminate in who he clashes with in his never-ending power quest, the three most common foils to his plans are Spider-Man, Daredevil, and The Punisher."
@@LaloSalamancaGaming69 Batman loves Joker, I remember reading a comment that said that Batman would commit crime just so Joker could rest and not get hurt
WANDA and Pietro are not the children of Magneto their father was Django and their mother was Marya Maximoff, and they are no Mutants they are genetically manipulated humane.
Joe Viggo Joe Viggo you are talking about the mcu. In the comics quicksilver and scarlet Witch are mutants in the comics. The only reason why they aren’t mutants in the mcu is because Disney didn’t had the rights to fox’s properties. But now Disney bought some of fox’s properties
Every non-bullet prof villain vs Punisher: Villain: "Haha! When you kill me all those innocent people will explode! You see i have a detonator hooked up to my heart rate. If my heart stops....AHHHH MY KNEEE!!!!" Punisher: "That means i have to find a way to kill you without stoping your heart. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED"
huh, when the title said "fought the wrong hero" I assumed that said supervillain was beaten pretty badly because it wasn't the hero they usually fought. Title is a bit misleading....
@@inspectorjavert9868 That'd be like an alternative ending to BtAS episode "Joker's Favor": Instead of a fake, the bomb Charlie throws at Joker would actually be real. Dang, Charlie coulda saved Tim Drake a lot of trouble years later by offing that clown. Lol
Considering how many cops he's killed, in any even remotely semi-realistic world, the Joker would get thoroughly aired out while resisting arrest. Unfortunately, he has "We can't think of any new villains because we can't afford real writers anymore, so this MFer is immortal now" levels of plot armor.
The Punisher vs. The Joker.. But that would end the Jokers Reign in one page! Lol no more trips to Arkham Asylum just to break out a week later like All of Batmans enemies!!
@@thetayterminator1436 There was actually a Batman Vs Punisher comic by Chuck Dixon and John Romita. Frank was going to put one between the Joker's eyes getting tired of his murderous rampages, but guest who stopped him. Go on guess.
Green Arrow: I had to stop the Riddler from destroying Star City. Batman: I had to solve riddles, complete puzzles, and collect hundreds of trophies. You got off easy.
Rule #1) Try to avoid going against Superheroes whose opponents tend to end up in the morgue, they generally don't play around. Rule #2) Keep to your own Weight Class. If you usually fight Daredevil stay away from Thor
Honestly Sabertooth feels oddly fitting as a villain for Iron Fist. One trained in techniques requiring extreme discipline the other savage wild and unpredictable. I could also see him as a spiderman villain.
I just recently watched Daredevil for the first time and I was heartbroken when I found out that it was canceled and no longer canon. When Marvel does another daredevil run I want that actor to play him again!
Kevin Feige didn't say that it wasn't canon. We just have to wait and find out. I'm with you though, I hope they bring back that cast and a lot of the other actors from the other shows.
I haven't read that but honestly that seems like bad writing to me. Batman does not kill himself, or let the batfamily kill, but he doesn't usually stop other heros from doing so. I mean Ragman literally operates in Gotham and his whole shtick is killing evil people and putting their souls in his suit.
He doesn't have super strength, super speed, super intelligence, and resources but he will get the job done no matter who or what he fight and that's why we love him. He doesn't avenge, he punishes.
At the conclusion of the story line, he gets his hands on the Bloodstone, which regenerates him and resets his age back to 30-40 something so that he can continue fighting while fellow Vietnam veterans are well into their 70s.
The Punisher vs. The Joker.. But that would end the Jokers Reign in one page! Lol no more trips to Arkham Asylum just to break out a week later like All of Batmans enemies!!
I can think of a few fun ones: 1) Thor vs. Apocalypse in a bar fight hundreds of years ago (seriously...that happened). 2) Magneto vs. Red Skull (a Jewish mutant vs. a Nazi with super strength...awkwardly putting Magneto in the "hero" role...the fight obviously doesn't go well for Skull) 3) Green Lantern vs. Mr. Freeze (Victor freeze's Lantern's girlfriend's head, knocks it off, and kicks it down the stairs) 4) Silver Surfer vs. Mr. Sinister (just play the old NES game....he's the final boss for some unknown reason) 5) Batman vs. The Predator (Predator's vision is heat-based, so Batman springs Mr. Freeze from Arkham because Freeze is invisible to them)
Two things. Props for recognizing the Defenders original team. That really needed to be said. Secondly, the entire "Acts of Vengence" run by Marvel was full of heroes facing villains that were not their own. Spider-man versus the Red Skull. Captain America versus Kingpin. Spider-man versus the Tri-Sentlinels. The West Coast Avengers versus Freedom Force. The Mandarin versus the X-Men. Thor versus the Juggernaught. Captain America versus Magneto... The list goes on.
Being how frequent he works with other super hero teams (F4, various Avengers Teams, X-men, etc) I ain't surprised that he may have nearly battled every baddy in Marvel.
Yeah, being in New York, he fights pretty much all of Daredevil and Punisher's big villains at some point, plus the Fantastic Four are in New York, and he joined the Avengers, so he fights all of those villains. Then he was in the Secret Wars, so yeah, he's fought everyone.
One of the funniest fights like that is Luke Cage vs. Dr. Doom. Dr. Doom hires Luke Cage for a job and didn't pay, so Luke borrowed a plane of the Fantastic Four to travel to Latveria, to beat Doom up until he get his money. How he defeats Doom is priceless too.
Isn't that basically how she beats everyone? I mean she beat Darkseid so Dr. Doom shouldn't be too hard to believe Edit: As Don'tPlay pointed out it was actually Thanos not Darkseid that was defeated by Squirrel Girl. Had my properties mixed up
"That staged defeat to a minor hero is a vital part of Doom's plans! Do not trouble yourself by trying to understand how, for the machinations of Doom are well beyond the minds of ordinary men! Know this, however: Richards shal PAY!"
Scorpion vs Spider Man (mind-possessed by Dr Octopus, Superior Spider Man event). Doc Ock in Spidey's body straight up punches Scorpion's lower jaw tf off... Realizing instantly just how strong Spider Man actually is, and how easily he could have killed any one of them at any time if not under self-restraint.
I would always love a good Lex vs Batman storyline. Because it's two mortal men but with extraordinary minds and cunning. The idea of one trying to outsmart the other instead of using brawn.
There's an entire level of Spiderman Shattered Dimensions that pits him against Juggernaut. The fight involved dropping an entire parking garage on Juggernaut's head
I had hoped this was going to be the Wrong hero in terms of being completely outmatched. The Frank vs. Goblin was particularly pointless. You missed a great opportunity.
Ultron is more well known as an Avengers villain but he's also fought against the Runaways and when he assumed control of the Phalanx hive mind he's encountered some of Marvel's galactic super heroes like the Guardians of the Galaxy.
I find it amazing you never referenced the Acts of Vengeance event in Marvel Comics. Doom, Magneto, Kingpin, Red Skull and Mandarin were "supported" by a white suited lackey that turned out to be Loki and manipulated into basically swapping favored targets. Mind you, the Leader had noped out of the whole thing and Magneto was rewritten to have only gone along in order to have a shot at taking down Red Skull for obvious reasons.
I had a comic years ago where Rogue was still a villain and she was after Dazzler because she thought she had information Mystique needed. Dazzler hired Luke Cage and Iron Fist to protect her but Rogue mopped the floor with them at first. In their second battle they did a lot better by using the powers she stole from Dazzler against her, but Rogue still managed to get away.
Don't forget about Acts of Vengeance where Marvel had villains swap heroes on purpose leading to X-Men going against the Mandarin which created the Asian Betsy Braddock that was used for decades.
I still love the MC DC crossover and even though the comic was bad I will always love the fact that upon learning how the Punisher thinks and operates the joker became TERRIFIED of him
Back in the ”Spiderman and his Amazing Friends” series, Spiderman had the help of the X-men to defeat Juggernaut. The finishing tag-team work was Spiderman pulled off his helmet with his webbing and then Professor X made him believe he was paralyzed.
I thought This was going to be supervillains picking the wrong fight and getting clapped, but most of this is Supervillains absolutely decimating these superheroes
I mean it totally makes sense, Marvel and DC take place in massive multi(/omni?)-verses, so it’s only natural that every villain would get the chance to fight a different hero. It isn’t like they’re glued to their corresponding hero. People can freely move and meet other people, so logically it’s inevitable that they meet other heroes. I’d even argue that these “crossovers” (even though they’re not really crossovers since they’re in the same creative universe) are the best part of comics. To me, it feels refreshing taking these villains out of their known environment and placing them in completely new, exciting, unpredictable, uncharted territory
Luke Cage before he named himself Power Man fought against Doctor Doom between issues 8 & 9 of Luke Cage Hero For Hire. Never run out on a payment from Luke Cage!
Green Goblin does have super strength and healing factor but honestly Punisher could still beat him Frank does use Supervillians tech and has combat training.
It's a pity Dazzler never became a bigger hero; her powers have incredible potential. I think part of the problem is when she was introduced she came off as a bit whiny and unheroic and that kind of stuck with her image. I feel like she's a character due for a reimagining.
I was expecting this video to be a list of times where a villain picked a fight with a different hero, and the readers' collective reaction was "You done fucked up!"
