the pop-shove-it hand shove with or without a footplant was called a "get back" when I started skating in the 90s.. its like the board got away and yo uget it back.
Omg this video could not have came at a more perfect time. I just started skateboarding because of you about 3 days ago, and I'm learning fast thanks to you!! Already learned the shuv it and now I'm trying to perfect the pop shuv. I love you jonny you're an inspiration to me :)
Giger, I am always impressed in many positive ways! A video I would like to see you do is, "Tips for Board/Nose/Tail Slides. " Jonny Giger is the best baby, lets go!
Mika P. Skateboard is about Progression. If you land a new trick it is an awesome feeling. For you that might be a double tre late shove. For others it’s landing a pop-shove.
That one foot shove looks like something I might try, I still can’t consistently Ollie but somehow that looks doable... I might be wrong though. Will have to try.
started skating 6 months ago some how found your content and been a fan since also I had no clue there where this many pop shove it variations thank you for this vid
10 ways to heelflip would be useful, for some reason I'm a lot closer to getting consistent at those than any other trick right now, so it would be cool to see a few variations I can try when I'm getting bored of not landing regular heelflips lol. Also I think a bit of a p.o.v video skating from point a to point b would be good, a lot of people never really use their board outside of the park, and they wonder why they lack control. Giving them a little view of how much fun it can be just moving round doing little Ollies up curbs or wheelies etc might help get the point across that, the more you play on the board, the more your body understands it.
I don't have a good area for skating, but my understanding of tricks and footwork has improved watching you these last 4 months. I can't wait until I can put all of this to use. Much love, and stay safe! Edit: Nevermind, I can do the laying down version
I definitely wanted to see some frontside shuv variations because I’ve been learning some lately! I’ve been accidentally almost doing and would like to see you do a frontside shuv it backside body varial & also frontside heel flip (half flip) late Casper flip!
this is awesome ive never seen anyone do #4 before but me but i do it frontside instead of backside and i feel you on the first try i never do it and but when i do it always get it first try super fun easy trick props on it man that got me hyped im not the only one doing nosegrab shoves especially a variation of the one frontside one i do. GREAT VIDEO MAN!!!!
Could you do a routine video where you show what kind of workout/stretches and such you do? Now that i am almost 30 years old, i notice that my body is more prone to getting hurt.
Given that we call a flip with your hand a fingerflip, it makes sense to me to call a shove with your hand... a fingershove! Your vids are dangerously close to getting me (back, sorta) into skating. I love the combination of professionalism and dedication along with the irreverence.
Jonny, loved it. Maybe 10 nocomply variations? I'm a longboarder and most of us start out with nocomplys while skateboarders find them quite difficult. Should be fun to see what you come up with. Love your channe mate!
