IIRC the bridge guy's legacy lived on into Tears of the Kingdom, where even some traveller and villager NPCs will now start pleading with you to reconsider if they spot you on a bridge ledge. I don't know if it extends to them being more willing to have a chat if they see you get down from the ledge though. Honestly it's actually just really funny that the anti-bridge-jumping mentality spread so widely around Hyrule just as Link began setting all time records for high dives into natural bodies of water.

The Bridge guy may be a reference to the Mapo bridge in Seoul SK that has multiple signs up pleading with people to not do it. There's also a gentleman named Kevin Briggs that has talked down over 200 people from jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco, California (US) so it could be in reference to him as well.

Several of those entries don't fit the theme of the video, could you not find 10 better examples? The tree guards in Don't Starve aren't a measure "they had to implement", that might be true if the player wasn't meant to cut down the trees, but that's just a core aspect of the game, you have to get wood as a basic resource. For experienced players, the tree guards themselves are just another resource to farm for living logs or as protection against other monsters.

Yeah you don’t appreciate a feature like auto float until it isn’t there. Tried to knock out the masks in BG3. One went unconscious in water. Never occurred to me that the game would notice and flatline him. Which I should have, I was in act 3 by that point I knew how larian got down.

I can't play any game mode that has friendly fire on. I'm a menace. Tried it on one of the Call of Duty games Hardcore mode and kept accidently hitting my teammates. Kind of hard to prevent when you play using a LMG with a 100+ mag and you know the enemy is coming from a certain area that your teammates decide to rush while you are unloading at the enemy.

In King's Quest IV if you try to murder something it will say "You are not a murderous girl." This is odd since you obviously kill the antagonist. You can also fall to your death as well.

WELL in call of juarez you CAN defile the corpse... as Billy using the whip, while it's winding up just aim slighty off the corpe then back to it, the whip windup with hit the corpse on the realease LUL

I’m a player that plays by the rules. And I don’t jump off that one bridge in Breath of the Wild because I use Cryokinesis as stepping stones. And besides, there’s other bridges in Hyrule to jump off of.

4:24 so Nintendo unintentionally (or maybe intentionally) programmed a suicide awareness message. Out of all game character to to send that message I'd imagine Lara Croft, Nathan Drake, hell even Arkham Batman But legend of Zelda. That's unexpected

Dawg that DMC jab got me hot, I played the original DMC then jumped to 3 cause my 13 year old self stood by my peers word of mouth I have avoided it till this day played every other DMC game yet placing the petulant DMC revamp that was tried to thank God massive failure. It's still placing that Dante over regular Dante, so what @$#%, failure of direction is not failure of production ! So holding one over other is out the question both should be on level, also revamp Dante would of course have stellar gameplay (it's a DMC game for God sake) being newer generationally but again it's a stupid blowhard Dante.
