@@ds17x14 coadm was really bad, there are only 1 great track (title track),3 good tracks (mama/show love, lost in translation and homicide which was carried heavily by em (logic's verses were pretty bad), and like 2-3 ok tracks (still ballin, Keanu Reeves and limitless) the other 10 were pure hot repititive trash, and I'm a big time logic fan.

I mean overall that was his weaker album/body of work/ out of his other albums. Ysiv and bt2 had some trap filler but it still sounded good and had nice features. I feel like in coadm even features were bad besides eminem that was amazing. (EM's verse barely trying in homicide beat almost all the other songs combined.) But I feel like ybn was decent but ybn, and wiz g-eazy could have tried to do a better verses or choice of songs. Instead they ended up being disappointing like logic in a lot of songs in the album, or logic dropped down to their level of effort that they had In features. But idk why he did that in his other songs too.

One of your best videos imo. You’ve touched everything about Logic’s downgrade. I think the reason for it is the lack of structure and focus he puts in songs now. No creativity, no theme, no substance! He stopped claiming Maryland or the Rattpack. He’s been through a huge breakup and not saying he should put it in songs but I’m definitely saying we’ve all lost the connection to him.
Well that may be true, but he clearly has lost his flair... Y'all need to listen to rappers like Tha God Fahim and Mach-Hommy, they drop projects like shell casings but still manage to stay on point lyrically. Logic just isn't with it anymore, he's really got no excuse other than that

This just makes me sad. I remember finding logic back when The Incredible True Story dropped. Me and all my friends loved him, loved Bobby Tarantino, and a ton of his other work. Was really excited to see how he would develop his career, and it just makes me sad to see that this is how he turned out.

When it comes to Logics verse on Cocaine, I point to 48 by Tyler, the Creator as what it would have been like if Logic succeeded. 48 tells the story of a drug dealer perfectly, without actually being written by one. But Logic just sounded like if a child wrote a verse on drug dealing.

I remember when I first listened to Logic, I really enjoyed almost every song I heard. As time past, I can't say the same. Its almost the opposite reaction, I only like a few songs if that on any project. I heard COADM the song before the album release and expected a decent introspective album, which I feel is his pocket, but then I heard Icy and was so disappointed in the misdirection and underwhelming tone to the album. It didn't feel good to listen to. Maybe fame and money changes your ability to write too dramatically. IDK, I'm just let down tbh.
Admittedly his songs have definitely become weaker over the years but he has said that he tries to make songs for everyone, maybe that's good for some (for me it's not since I admired his earlier music) you also mentioned his repetitiveness and "needless repetition to fill space" and I honestly think that's simply due to amount of songs this guy releases. The good thing about logic at least is that if he makes a song or album that you don't like you know it won't be long before another one is released.

True Logic fans realize his different series of albums are made to be a certain style of music. He's done it repeatedly with the Tarantino's and Young Sinatra's. He literally said this new album was trap music, he's just having fun, and supermarket was a soundtrack for a book... hated everybody album but he still had some good songs on it. Point of what I'm saying is every artist has good and bad songs. And if you've been listening to logic for a while you can see the difference in styles.
Let’s be real the man had Dane Cook Syndrome. Got successful very quickly and couldn’t handle it. After under pressure he was never the same. Everything went downhill.
