Phew! That title scared me! But thanks for the feedback (and specially the kind words at the end)! We for sure wanna deliver the most fun game we can ever possibly make, so hearing from you that we are getting there really makes our day! EDIT: Forgot to actually comment on the suggestions! SO, regarding your ideas for improvements, they are all pretty much great and I'm certain that it would improve the mode (maybe not reacting to picks/bans with pins :x) and definitely they would improve the mode. H O W E V E R, they would all take dev time, so it's always a matter of priorities. With that said, Power League is now out and we'll for sure keep improving it for the next updates (the automated penalty system is now live, btw! :D) - S.P.U.D.E.

Or they could simply add a connection symbol which either goes up or down next to the players name, like in cod games where you can see the WiFi connection in the match board. I think only teammates should be able to see this though else enemies could easily prioritise the lagging player as the more valuable enemy if they can see their connection.

@@WillsOW4 no because sometimes the lag doesn't come from the connection but from the bad hardware. For example once in a while when subprocesses start happening the game freezes my controls and the brawler keeps walking forward for several seconds and I can't do anything but die. Also tara's bush gadget kills my framerate.

This sounds good but when you are lagging in brawl stars there is input delay and then also if you are lagging so hard that you can’t move nothing you do actually happens until you stop lagging. So basically to actually do the emote you have to stop lagging

I feel like even if you were a great teammate and was not toxic at all, people could still report you for bad behavior cause because you lost or they didn’t like who you picked. It can be a double edged sword.

Agreed, but not just that people can down vote an enemy for picking a meta brawler. I know that because I get mad whenever someone picks Byron or collette so there is definitely people out there who would do it just because you picked a meta brawler.

@@Brawlnana Yeah being able to report the enemy is never a good thing. Plus the enemy isn't there to be your friend, if they're about to score a goal in Brawl Ball and want to spin and be toxic, let them. End of the day it's just a game and the fun shouldn't be hurt for someone just because they hurt your feelings. You should be able to report team mates for throwing games though, it just simply isn't right and I've lost so many times because people would do that.

So true tho! This is why I don't really like Power League. Since I never really played power play much (probably should have, in retrospect) I am fairly low down in the ranking, which means I am matched with low trophy noobs who do this all the time. It just makes the game not fun, in the slightest. Edit: That and someone ON MY TEAM every single match choosing SHELLY.

What about getting stuck at lower level just because of the teammates you get everytime, their poor choices of brwalers and less experience in playing. Once you lose few match and get into a lower rank you just can't go up. It's really frustrating win few matches and then again lose shamelessly just because of randoms

Every time i played with randoms in power league they just chose lvl 1 brawlers and they just start spinning in the start and let us lose i fell from silver 2 to bronze 2 and thats why i always quit when i see my teammates using low lvl brawlers

I have a recommendation to improve power league. I would like to see a full solo mode that only involves you and one other player. This new mode would be called duels and 2 players would duel out in a best of three with the same brawler. The start of the game would be similar to picking and banning brawlers. The player who wins the coin flip will choose the brawler 1v1 that would take place while the player that loses the coin flip will choose the brawler they do not want to 1v1 with. I think having a complete solo mode will be nice because it is 100% skill. You do not have to worry about random teammates or having frustrations due to bad plays/picks. The outcome is completely up to the player.

hmm, if someone leaves they should lose points and everyone else gain just a little bit, as a way to be told not to dodge his teammates shouldn't be punished for a toxic players that dodge. I feel like they should add a communicating system where you can actually talk to them with a chat and message them in between games so that you can discuss a game plan. I think this would be a great idea or terrible idea. Idk just my opinion because I struggle when trying to have a game plan with randoms.

After watching this video I have a few suggestions: 1 - There should be an option for suggesting star powers and gadgets and not just in power league imo. It is really annoying in championship challenges when your dynamike teammate picks fidget spinner or a primo picks meteor rush in heist. Its especially annoying because sometimes text chat is off. Some of the time your teammate might not even realize they have the wrong gadget or star power equipped and its really frustrating. 2 - It would be cool to have a last second brawler switchup at the very end before the match starts or even after the first/second game. It sucks when your teammate picks a brawler that you are very good at and have them maxed and then they pick it with like a level 1 or even them just picking a bad brawler. It would be nice to reform your strategy among yourselves for like 20 seconds or something if you get wiped in the first match. 3 - After power league ends when everyone is reset back to silver. Players that got really far last season should be given an internal ranking that will match them with other players who got really high in trophies. It always annoys me when I restart the season and lose because my teammates are really bad

So once we got an Edgar in our team on a map Edgar was almost the worst on. The opponents were all long range brawlers and Edgar kept feeding them supers. It was essentially a 2v3. After losing the first round, me and my teammate started angry pinning and shooting the Edgar. The Edgar thought we were rooting for him, so he went for the long range fight again the net round. You can guess how it ended

Power league is a great idea in concept, but unfortunately (for solos this is) that’s as far as it goes. One thing I’ve noticed is that when there are players of a lower league on MY team, I still lose quite a large chunk of progress. The teams option for power league is close to as good as can be, as you’re almost always playing with people you know and it’s not really toxic. Solos on the other hand, has a LONG way to go. What Interests me is how supercell is going to find a way to take this amazing concept and execute it in a way that’s fun for everybody.

@Dewey Animates yes sirrrrr they made it so that your loss amount is based on just the enemy difference in rank from your rank, not from your entire teams average rank. This makes it so that if u, a D1, are teamed with 2 gold1s and u go against all D1's u will still lose a large chunk of your rank even tho u stood no chance.

I would really like to see some sort of a story mode. There are tons of ways to make it and I know that it will require a lot of time but still, I am personally willing to see smaler updates in the next 6-7 months (or even more) in order for them to have more time to create some sort of a story mode, so we can see different relations between the brawlers. After they do something like this (they can only put small portion of it at first), they can start adding some more new content to the story mode every update. I know that it probably sounds stupid.

In my opinion, there are two major other features that should be introduced: 1. Pick a new team each round, banning the brawlers from earlier rounds together with the initially banned brawlers. There are currently 45 brawlers. You ban 2 brawlers (max) at the first team selection. I think it would be more interesting to create a new team for each round, adding the brawlers from earlier rounds of the match to the banlist. That way the 3 rounds you play will be more unique. At this moment, if your team is no match for the opponent you have no fighting chance and all is lost from the start. It is possible to play more than 3 rounds if a round ends in a draw. So, 45 - 2 banned leaves us 43 brawlers, 6 per round which means you can play 7 rounds before you run out of enough brawlers to pick from. And if this were to happen, you could always reset the bans and make them selectable again. I don't think we'll see this many rounds happen often though. 2. Ban a game mode per team Will be fun to see how players react if their favorite gamemode is taken out of rotation. This can be done without the other team knowing your pick, because the selection of the gametype will just not pick those modes that are banned.

Holy crap, I had for a very long time tried my best to stay positive with power league and in my humble opinion I do love this addition but you literally put out all my doubts for it in one video XD. Yes, I definitely agree that the toxicity in power league is much higher but at the same time, you do have to keep in mind that there will always be the few minor players that just ruin the experience for a lot of people in all games...I guess there are some ways to better the PL system as you suggested and yh i think, especially the honour system could def be added into the game

I don't think Supercell will ever ban people from the game except in very rare situations because it decreases the amount of potential money they could get. IN addition, I think it's important to ignore toxic players and not to get angry at them (however hard that is). I think a honour system is a great idea though, just not a subtraction of rewards, etc. system.

Honestly I love the idea of the ban and award system. But I do believe that the reason sometimes people disconnect after the ban phase is because they were not purposely trying to do that but because of changing star powers and/or gadgets. For me, sometimes when I change gadgets or star powers the game crashes. I rate this update a 8. (Bugs during the update decreased the score)

I was mortis in bb (don’t ask, I used to push 700 every season with mortis in bb) and my teammates got folded instantly, and I was trying to get a triple kill. Rest of the 2 games was my teammates being mad as I get a double kill and the their opponent just walks the ball past my dumb teamates. Also, report seems like a good way to prevent toxic people, but those toxic people are going to report anyone for “bad player” or “picked a bad brawler” and that’s not going to help

@KairosTime Gaming, I get what you’re saying here, but the beauty of BS at least before PL was being able to go into the game with whatever comp you felt best. Although I know you took a hell of a lot of time compiling the list of the top 9-12 brawlers for each map, you can’t deny that this list being the “ABSOLUTE” has helped in selection a lot but also limited creativity and increased aggression towards other players for “not picking a recommended brawler.” A good example: I was attempting to pick a brawler by checking your list during my pick. I switched back to BS, and realized I only had a few seconds left, so I accidentally picked POCO (who was right next to the brawler I wanted) on a long-range bounty map. My teammates were furious, attacking me and emoting the first few seconds of the game. Well, we ended up winning the first two games anyhow (the opponents were not that good) just by my unconventional pick and play style. Now I highly encourage a list like that every PL season, but I also encourage you to remind people that they should not religiously and strictly follow that list, because many people have a very specific brawler they want to play, and rigidly sticking to the same 9-10 brawlers for all 18 maps eliminates a lot of creativity, fun and variety from the game mode. In fact, sticking to your list I have actually been losing a lot more, just because I am forcing myself to play the likes of Sprout, Mr. P and Amber when I’d rather be playing other brawlers. Just my input.

Here’s some features that may make the league better:- 1. Increase the timer so that we can have more time to choose / ban 2. Add chat to discuss with teammates or just add quick chats (especially suggest brawlers) 3. Fix the crashing or lagging 4. Give more attention in people who left the game 5. Add features like credit score like mobile legend 6. Only max level brawlers are allowed to use so it will be fair for everyone

The thing about the honor system is that toxic players will use that to be even more toxic. They could report perfectly good players for fun. Also if they think you are gonna try and report them, they would report you too and supercell won’t know what to do. That’s why the honors system simply won’t work.

Solo Power League needs to be done with solo modes similar to something like Lone Star, which has no randoms and little luck involved. The concept is near-perfect, but trashmates can entirely ruin the experience, and Solo Showdown is obviously not a good competitive mode

I have an idea against players leaving: Giving bans or lowering their points might be too harsh, that's because I have left games without wanting to. Sometimes the connection is bad or even when the update released, there were bugs that lead you to crash your game. My solution: If we can't do anything for players leaving, we should reward players that didn't leave, so everyone gets a 1/5 of an increase in their points they would get if they won, this way the playerbase won't be mad, it would be good for them if someone leaves.

But it takes time to max out brawler and and get brawlers. And the starting players would take like 2 or 2.5 years to max and only if they don't buy skins and buy brawl pass and play everyday. But think if even the new player having a nice skill can't do it . Like me i have 22k trophies but i have 7 max brawlers and 39 brawler but i have great skills.

It's *really* annoying bc 95% of the time one of my teamates chooses a power level 1 or 2 brawler we loose, even if me and my other teamate choose decent level brawlers, we still are in disadvantage. I would really appreciate if they fixed it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Great video btw, really smart solutions! :D

my idea was since there's not really any form of "anti toxicty" action in the game (aka. no opposite of spinning or bm'ing) every match you play you gain a small amount of good behavior points regardless. but when u get reported you lose a larger amount. Also caters to the lazy not wanting to have to click extra just to reward other teammates for being nice like a normal person.

Honor system idea: End game votes from teammates and enemies. Can’t be double voted from the same players. The rating adds up and is like a score on your profile. You get matched more often with teammates with similar honor ratings. Meaning nicer people get matched with nice people more often or permanently and the toxic players have to suffer with other toxic players until they get their act together
