Imagine at the beginning of a 100 Mario run that all 100 Marios are in the same room, and there’s this person that calls them up one by one like “Mario 37, it is your turn to fight Super Expert”
Woah that must've been the ultimate expert run, I can only imagine the pressure of the first stage with only one life, but luckily there wasn't any trolling with sniper thwomps or kaizo blocks. Then again, knowing that you can stay calmer than a Buddhist monk in any kind of situations, you would've probably just brushed it off with a shrug and tried again. Keep experimenting with different ideas on SMM, great video!
I have a few challenges. The one I'm going to suggest now I also suggested in a previous video. Do expert mode, but... you have to first try the levels. if you die even once, you have to skip the level and get a new one Or another idea Take viewer levels down, then once you have enough, draw level codes from a hat to make your own 100 mario challenge, except only using levels from your viewers
Sir Doge McDogerton III Ok cmon, that argument is kind of garbage that someone isn’t “qualified” to talk about something. With that logic people shouldn’t be allowed to have criticized Obama and now trump since 99.99% of all of those people were never president. When you think about how you worded your argument, you are basically saying “you are irrelevant this person is way bigger shut up.” You don’t sound like an awful douchetuber we all know and hate, but the meaning is essentially the same. Something that requires you to be qualified to talk about is rocket science.
I think expert no death is doable, I have 837 expert clears (my name is Bob is GR8 on SMM bookmark site). But it’s next to impossible due to trolls, random deaths, and even the possibility of midairs appearing.
I have an idea for a Challenge. Why dont you give yourself Handicaps for the levels. My idea is that you put different Handicaps on Paper into a Box and you have to draw one Handicap at the beginning of the run and one after every level you beat. You could go with rather easy Handicaps, but stack them, so they stay till the end of the run or you could go with hard Handicaps but only have one active at the time. You can decide if you play on Expert or Super Expert. Here are some of my ideas for Handicaps (But you can give more in the comments): (Rather) Easy: No Skip, Always skip after death, No (intended) Cheese, Pacifist, Murderer (Kill all if you can), No powerups (when optional), lose 10 Lifes (cant go under 1) -> When you get two Handicaps that contradict they are negated Hard: Blindfolded, One Hand on the back, Speedrun (as fast as possible) Those arent nearly enough but i dont have much more (good) ideas, so add some if you want. When you like the idea of my challenge then i would be happy if you would try it.
I like these challenges because they make one ups actually valuable instead of useless trash which is fun. And it's actually possible for a good player to lose these instead of always winning with like 50 lives left, so it's more interesting. Too bad expert/super expert is so heavily based on level RNG though.
What about a 100 man blind troll (or puzzle) run? You pick someone to select 8 troll or puzzle levels (that can be beaten in a reasonable time frame) and use those as the 100 man run.
The true test of "A Mario Legend's" skills would be a ONE life Normal run, where you cannot rack up lives, you only have ONE for the entire run, Could be fun and an adrenaline rush.
I give up on Mario Maker... I have spent multiple days creating a bunch of different and very difficult levels for Ryu and Carl... Im aware of how many levels they get, so I understand that they dont always get play them. But it’s absolutely frustrating that when putting many days into a level for it to be removed for not “gaining sufficient popularity”. EVERY level I put out gets deleted because "It wasnt popular enough" (litterally, thats what it says, check my Twitter, I posted a picture.) Thats so insanly retarded... Im fed up with it. Until Mario Maker for Switch, I will no longer be a part of the level making community that clearly doesnt want my levels to exist. I know this isn’t just me, but I’m just really want to let this frustration out.
The first thing you do after creating a level is go on twitch and let some streamers play it. Not one of the big ones because then you need to wait forever. When they're done they usually star it as well. I never once had a level removed and seeing others play my levels let me know of so many flaws to correct too.
The problem with Mario maker is that there needs to be a curated section, there is way to much bullshit on there. I would venture a modest guess that about 99% is garbage. I would be surprised if more than 1% of all levels made are actually descent.
GoldPoptart Same happened to me... What you can do is make a copy of the level with a slight change like a single coin before uploading it. I completely agree with you that it’s unfair.
That should only happen if your level hasn't been either cleared or starred after 3-4 weeks (it doesn't even need to be both, either will do), and as was mentioned above it's very easy to go to twitch at pretty much any time of day to get your level played where it should get at least one of those. If for whatever reason that doesn't work you can also reset the timer yourself by deleting and reuploading the level, giving you another 3-4 weeks. That won't stop it from getting removed for other reasons, like abuse of glitches or asking for stars, but once you know the system you should literally never get a level taken down due to being unpopular. Just have to monitor how they're doing and be sure to reset them if it's getting dangerously close to the cutoff.
Challenge: 50 life super expert ALL GARBAGE challenge while cosplaying as Princess Peach, AND wearing an Anonymous Mask. (Like comment if you would also like Ryu to do this, or reply to add to the challenge.)
So clearly the real challenge was when you had only 1 life. A 100 man expert run where you can't accumulate lives and only have 2-3 lives for every stage would be real tense. 16 stages where the stakes are always really high!
1) Short level with no hidden blocks 2) Nice looking ice level that looks like it could be in an actual Mario game 3) Airship level that rewards exploration with a quick path to the end Who are you and what have you done with Expert mode?! The good thing about these starting levels is that Ryu didn't immediately die and have to re-lose his lives.
Hello, yes, welcome back to Mario Maker. Today I'm going to be doing a challenge that I've wanted to do for a little while now. If you recall, we've done the Five Life Expert Challenge twice, uh, once we beat it, once we didn't. However, call me a masochist but I've always wanted to try the One Life Expert Challenge. Just one, just one life. We get the lives- if we collect 1Ups throughout the courses, of course we get to keep them.

Paraphrasing what Grand Poo Bear says "what separates you (all) from me, is practice time". If you played all day like these guys do, you'd _probably_ be as good. There's the natural skill they all possess, too, so... practice will only take you so far. Other wise, everyone who tries something would succeed at it. :/
Dashie is the only gaming RU-vidr I usually watch, but I like your videos too. The only thing is, after watching over 100 episodes of Dashie levels, those random "expert" levels seem easy af 😂

SMM tag team challenge. One player has pro controller and presses buttons (A, B, X, Y, Z). Other player has gamepad and uses Analog stick / D-pad to press up, down, left, and right. Each player can only perform their job and must both work together to beat the level. This also has some weird side effects with the controls. I'd like to see you try to do it!
Some suggestions! All of these are super expert, “The only good levels run” “The only troll levels run” “The only japan run” BONUS “The controller facing away from you run” basically you just turn it 180 Degrees!
Hey Ryukhar. Awesome video. I'd love to see you do an expert run where you start with 10 lives and has to have 25 or more lives at the end of the last level. Good luck.
