Raemuo Walter you cant do midairs with shells anymore but you can do p switch drop jumps i got one on my first try, thought it was easy, tried to replicate it and ive been practicing it and other tech for… the last 10 hours. shit.
Heck, even super expert in general doesn't seem to lend itself very well to endless. on one hand you can go noskip and never get anywhere, on the other hand you can use skips and it just turns into a game of paranoia. The problem with expert however is that there is very little suspense.
@@SondreGrneng I feel like there would be a lot more suspense in endless expert, it would just take a little while to get there. Once you're fifty or sixty stages in, and your lives get low, I can see it being super challenging and suspenseful, especially when there's a better chance of the stages being fair and not just a one-trick kaizo level.
@Nimu The cat I feel like a lot of that will come down to luck, though. There were some super expert runs where he finished with over seventy lives. If he gets a couple of tough expert levels, or a stream of them where there aren't as many one-ups, it could make things difficult. Also, the game just released, so Nintendo could very well add some things to make it more difficult (maybe in endless expert, you can only have a maximum of thirty lives or something).
@@neimanmroz7784 Assuming the system works as intended, someone as good as Ryu should never wipe in expert. If he does it is because he ran into a level that by all rights should be in super expert. It would just feel cheap and turn into a lame death rather than an object of any suspense. At least that's my opinion. Do note, this is specifically for someone like Ryu. I would be genuinely surprised if I personally even got around the first turn in an expert run.
F for Yoshi. My heart sank! And I think that stage was brillaint, to have your strongest power up your worst enemy. Edit: Oh! and I hope you continue the Expert levels. Love to see the creativity here!
6 great levels and only one hot garbage. Definitly a better ratio then Super Expert. Would love to see more of this, its a lot better to watch you play when you actually enjoy the levels you're playing.

Please do more of this! This was really cool because there was 6 good levels and 1 really bad one that could have killed the run. I think the suspense of a rare but potentially back breaking troll level could end the otherwise "endless run". (Also, needs more Toad and Toadette)
Definitely loving the idea of the endless expert experience! In terms of other stuff, I'd probably like to see story mode first; I've been avoiding other people's runs so I could see the levels first with you!

There is a video that shows the weight values for each object/enemy/player size. However the only downside is that there's only weight values of 0.5, 1 and 2

Just because if something is super jank bullshit the low clear rate pushes it out of expert. The garbage can only be so hot before it’s clear rate is too low for expert. There are good very hard stages too, but all the hottest garbage ends up in super expert

@dowingba tbh easy/normal kinda isn't really a challenge, surely you can get there forever^^ expert atleast adds a bit of challenge on it since there are alo a few levels that are too hard and just not played enough to be moved to super expert or even the hot garbage levels^^ easy and normal is often just a level where you just run to the flag without any enemy or even stair sometimes..^^
Tbh, this is perfect. I feared we wouldn't get No Skip runs anymore. But this is exactly what I wanted. Please continue both Super Expert Tryhard Runs and Expert No Skip Runs. That would be amazing!
12:04 I love Super Mario Galaxy dude. Such a great game. When I hear music like it, such as here or the final world in Super Mario 3D World, it just sounds so nice and just has that nostalgic good-memory feeling. Also, I just love the music. Sounds wonderful!
This is a great idea. You should also do no skip super expert just to see how far the runs get each time. But the true-endless expert no-skip is a great idea too, and I'd love to see it.
After watching Ryu play so much I thought i'd be pretty good, lost all my lifes on level 1 both times i've tried super expert, he makes it look so easy :I
You should just play Expert at this point, it's a nice little runway until Twitter levels start showing up. I for one enjoyed the Expert experience, maybe even more than SE, ya know?
I imagine the levels you played in an Expert run have to be enumerated somehow, assuming their indexes (or the array size) is stored in an unsigned short int (around 64000) (which may not be the case but I think its reasonable). If you beat 10 levels every day, you will break SMM2 in like 18 years. Making any new levels you want to play (at least in expert endless) either random garbage, or unplayable. So you would reach the end of the endless run. Or it could be stored in like a unsigned long long in which case it could last for 547,945,205,479,452 years I think thats 547 trillion, more than the universe will stay alive (accoring to some predictions). Even if you completed 5000 levels a day, the universe would still probably end sooner. Orrrr it could be set to self expand when it reaches its current limit. Which I would assume would be able to reach (the computer memory limit) up to 2^(2* 10^12) = 2^(2000000000000) = a number so large it doesnt even compare to the number of ATOMS in the universe which is 10^82 (max) ~ 2 ^ (400). So even if you beat a level every micro second till the end of time it still wouldnt even begin to compare to the number of levels you would need to beat. Have a nice day :P
I think you should start two separate series (Expert and Super Expert) where you have to defeat 5 levels per episode, and keep saving and doing that until you run out of lives. Keep up the good work!
Ryu!! You could do like, "Endless Super Expert Forever 1" or season 1, and when you get a game over, it's time for "Endless Super Expert Forever 2" or season 2! Because the first attempt was a live stream call it season Zero? I dunno, it'd be a cool way to feature your videos. Just out in the title Endless Super Extra Ultra Expert Forever Eternal Maximum Master Infinite God Mode Mario Maker 2. People will find it somehow!
Quick tip you probably already know, but if you hold crouch/down in the 3D world gamestyle for a short time and then jump you can do a backflip with decent height to it. Can't wait for more.
Okay, I know i'm 5 days late, but this guy deffiently just earned himself a subscriber, and maybe a follow on twitch. He is a literal god at this game and he is SO entertaining. I would love to see him play alpharads levels.
This was infinitely more interesting to watch than super expert! Less time looking at the same things over and over again, and the quality is way better too
Jesus, your were incredibly lucky getting so many decent levels in a row; while it may be true that good-to-garbage ratio in Expert is better than in Super Expert, make no mistake: hot garbage is still far more common than good stages!

@@cube2fox Not sure he hasn't uploaded a SMM2 vid yet. But I know he's way better then Ryu in skill. The only thing about him is that he lacks Ryus energy.

It would be great to see an epic saga of Endless Expert by you, even though these levels aren't insanely hard they seem much better than what we've used to see in Super Expert. Also I can imagine the pressure of beating couple hundred of these levels and then facing some obscure troll level that you aren't allowed to skip! :D
