Don’t think you have to make excuses for the rear wing you installed it looks great actually the carbon fiber you thought of yourself makes it look better than stock re:the interior I would swap out the white trim piece with the carbon fiber and change the interior lightbulbs with led, best of luck
I’m actually looking to get some performance mods done, a turbo upgrade specifically..i have the same car except mine is automatic and I was wondering if you were to get a turbo upgrade which one would you get that way I have an idea of what to look for
I was debating the same thing when I was looking lol and after some research they really not much different other then brand so I went with D2 because its like $200 cheaper then BC. Ive had them almost a year now and have never had any problems. I personally love them.
Maybe u can help me out. Im wanting to get new wheels. Im not lowered, not sure if i will lower it.. im thinking about 18x8.5 +35. I want a pretty flush fit. Is that a good size? Can I use my stock tires? Also, I dont want to rub. Will I need new lug nuts or will stock fit? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!
With that +35 offset if you want flush then need 18x9. Yes you can use the stock tires and yes you most likely need new lug nuts because usually aftermarket wheels have smaller lug nut holes. You wont rub at all even if you lower the car. My wheels are 18x9.5 +35 and my car is lowered and I don't rub so you'll be fine with 18x9 even if you lower it.
I probably would because the car is lowered but I never take my cars through a car wash So I dont know for sure if it would be a problem. I wash my cars myself at home.
I went catless because it makes exhaust alot louder and i dont have to worry about emissions checks where I live. I dont think performance is much different between the two so i guess it depends if you want your exhaust to be a good amount louder.
@@hectorhernandez3182 nice! I did not wrap mine because I got their version 2 that lets you attach the oem heat shield to it. But you could wrap it if you want and it be even more protected. Take your time removing the bolts that holt it to the turbo and do it by hand with breaker bar. Do NOT use a power tool. Those turbo studs can strip and break pretty easily.
I installed the blacked out LED side markers with sequential blinkers from Ebay! Easy install and gets alot of compliments from other FK7 owners 👍🏼 highly suggest
Its only 1 finger (1/2") wheel gap but Yup I have to have it that way since my wheels poke out and im usually carrying heavy items in the hatch which obviously makes the car drop when the extra weight is added so if I go lower the wheels will rub on the fender.
