I love how the "Safe" room in RPD has probably the most unsafe pallet in the entire game in it. Its almost mocking the idea of safe rooms lmao

Watching yourself is pretty important. I was rewatching my bubba footage and realized I never knew how to do the chainsaw sweep. Thought you just held the button down but it asks for a prompt I didn't see, so now my bubba is way more deadly.

Play both sides is such an important tip. I used to only play survivor, after I started playing killer and understood what the killer sees, how they move what their attacks are like. My success as a survivor went way up. There is so much to learn from playing a killer. And don't forget the add-ons. They can completely change how a killer plays, at the very least read what they do.

Also DO NOT CAMP PALLETS TO GET THE STUN! Most killers who have played the game for more than 2 hours will know how to get the hit before you pull down the pallet, so you will get hit and also lose a pallet. If you want to get the stun, just run across the pallet, turn around, stop for the tinniest bit and press the command, it will make a "vacuum" and pull you to the pallet, pulling it down and stuning the killer.

Very good video. I use videos like this to perfect my craft. I solo que and usually the runner of the crew. For the very reason you explained in this about Overcome, I pair it w/Lucky Break and Dead hard. I make a lot of distance and because of no scratch marks I usually lose killers. Because they know I have Overcome, when i’m injured and use DH it works 90% of the time. Thanks for the video.

i love that you mention watching your own replay. whenever i've lost my edge or i'm making a lot of annoying mistakes, that is STILL what helps me most.

Hey, I recently played against you. You guys were a tough team but somehow I managed to get my adept on trapper. Just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your content and watched you before that match.

Fun fact: In the state of the game, sometimes people can change their speed at will and they will appear to have multiple exhaustion perks. This may not be the case, but if you identify somebody using say smash hit and balanced landing, you can report them and if you record your gameplay then you will have video proof.

I've been looking for videos based on specific killers and it looks like you have them. Subbed

One time I was playing as Legion and I went against a team (possibly SWF) that was running Head On, all four of them. Eventually I caught on and I was in a loop and I knew one of them was gonna Head On me if I came around the corner, so I decided to moonwalk around the corner so that one of the teammates wouldn't see my redstain come around the corner, and especially because Legion is the only killer who gets mistaken as a survivor at times. So I ended up grabbing him out of the locker without him jumping out.

Good video mintskull, after watch the first few tips I skimmed the rest and they are all quite good. if I find any noob survivors Ill just send them this video instead of having to explain all these to them such a time saver thanks! Edit: I also am a veteran and when I see videos like this I always watch/ skim them to see if the information is accurate and this is quite accurate. I also didn't know about the item disappearing when you vault so even as a veteran I did learn one new thing, anyways great content keep up the great work friend :)

The Tip that helped me the most is "Look back while vaulting" I played Lithe for a long time and never looked back, running 80% of my chases after a vault with my sprintboost right into the killer. My Friend recommended me, every time I have some sparetime or are waiting for someone to come back, I should play the tutorial and practice looking back and looping structures tight. Even Today after having 3k hours in the game I sometimes play it after I messed with my settings or havent played for a few weeks.

The 2nd tip just changed how I play as a killer , I did not know you could attack through small obstacles😮

The best way to use lithe is to run it with dance with me so that way you can speed away and potentially lose the killer because dance with me hides your scratch marks for 3 seconds (which is the same time that lithe speeds you up) so the killer might have a hard time finding you I tested this with a friend and they lost me in chase the majority of the time after the use of that combo

I have started playing dbs in June do technically im not so new to the game, i knew most of them but the vault and lunge before falling really are interesting, game is more complex than people give it credit.

I'd say you are underestimating Overcome, it's a very powerful perk and is easy to use at the same time. This perk guarantees you cannot be zoned, it allows you to always reach a safe place after a hit and start looping there. It massively wastes killer's time due to shift+W potential, it encourages killers to drop chase with you, it also counters STBFL, Blood Favor, huntress' m2 into m1, trickster's blade combo or plague's red puke in the open etc. Its main weakness is you have to stay healthy for it to be used which can be helped by using good medkits or boons+botany. it's not a big deal.

1 tip that I learn the hard way is: never respect a pallet that is impossible to loop with your power. Force it to drop, get stunned, and break it. It took less time to deal with the loop permanently.

I still get those weird window hits when I fast vault 😔

5:35 I disagree because sometimes, if you are confident enough with your reaction time, the small side of the loop can be more curvy and thus make you lose distance at a smaller pace.

Overcome is really good. Not sure why you think that extra speed boost post hit to is a bad thing? Very useful especially with lucky break and the face every survivor should bring amedkit

head on has radius of effect u r able to go to the side of the locker and press space(or other action button) to take surv out of locker(they r blocked on pcking animation so they cannot use it). I learned this after playing agaist cheaters with 3 head ons with 0 charge time and 0 cooldown

something else i have noticed with dead hard users is that they are CONSTANTLY watching you when you are close to them so thats something to take notice of i guess.

Almost 1k hours on the game (came back to it after almost two years) and I suck in chases as a survivor even tho I'm able to kill all 4 survivors in most of my killer games.. which is funny because I spend like 900 hours on survivors while on killers I spend like 50-70k hours and definitely not more. So rn I'm trying to realise what is it that I'm doing wrongly as a survivor and so far I realised that I wasn't looking back enough in some chases and that I'm literally forgotting to predict the killer moves sometimes and I haven't even started with how bad my senses comes to be when I'm looping the killers.. sometimes after the chase I feel like I wasn't literally using any of my braincells lmao. But in the end I'll just have to get back to being used to it I quess and play killers more oftenly. It's prety frustrating tho.

Whenever I realize that a survivor is expertly looping me, I just leave. This is because the next time I see that survivor, chances are that they won’t find such a good loop again.

I think my most favorite tip that wasn't mentioned in this video was just uninstall the game. This tip has helped me lower my stress levels drastically and gave me even more time to play other games that I find more fun.

I disagree on the value of Overcome. It’s become a necessary part of my build since I’m not very good at looping. It gives me the boost I need to find a safe loop or spot to hide and lose the killer. And if you bring a med-kit, then it’s easy to completely reset and that whole interaction amounted to nothing for the killer’s pressure.

how is overcome a bad perk exactly? you can't just say it's bad without any reasoning. the fact that it only activates when healthy doesn't make it bad, as dead hard is only available once injured. health state requirement does not a bad perk make.
