No disrespect, but looks like you went clockwise on the crank instead of counterclockwise, which took timing out, not added it. Is that what you were trying to do to make it smoke more?
You are correct. I knew it the moment i fired it up that i went the wrong way. Lol. I did it nice because i did it twice. Well a few more times because the power driver diesel pump gear lock washer wont allow proper torque on the nut. After the 3rd time the timing slipped i went back to stock lock washer. I just bought some new nozzles, delivery valves, 4k gov springs, valve springs, head gasket, and arp 625s. When the heads off im gonna to do some cleaning of the ports.
@@bloodcamarosexmagik4223 i haven't done the other mods yet. This spring ill have some vids of doing those mods. Im thinking of setting the timing around 20 to 25 degrees after the other mods are done.
Better power/fuel mileage... Also top end performance. If you have spent money on a bigger turbo and your truck is sleepy even after a fuel screw adjustment, this should fix your problem!
