I believe you hit the nail on the head with quality shoes, a nice overcoat, and a suit. When it comes to cologne I encourage men to find scents they feel match their personality. That can make the initial impression much more interesting if you wear something that I don’t smell on 90% of other cologne wearers.

First time on channel and I subscribed! I appreciate the outfit selection that is presented and it gives me inspiration/ideas.

Fall is my favorite season. And a lot of what you suggested I do have in my wardrobe. I do need a new pair of chelseys and definitely a better overcoat. My peacoat is getting a tad worn out, but a feel a replacement will be costly.

Man, when I think of style, I generally think so much about color, fit, pattern, and maybe brand, (which are all important) that some times I forget about the powerful element of TEXTURE. I've seen women actually brush their hands up and across nice textured garments like leather and cashmere, or the lapel of a nice suit coat. Salute.

Cologne, dark wash jeans, leather shoes and well-fitted suit ... home run! And men, cologne really does stand out.
